Worst Character

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

Hello guys,in this thread we are going to talk about the worst players we have seen only in Season 1,including the speacial episode "400 Days".So Among the storyline we have seen pretty bad people like Larry and Vernon that we had a lot of reasons to hate them while others think that they were just like that because they were affected by the situation.
My personal worst is Nate because he almost killed Russel just to have fun and he killed innocent old people to get their stuff...
What's your opinion?

Roman, Becca that old lady from Vernons cancer patients. Also Dee, she was pretty stupid for steeling the bag and not saying anything. Nate was evil but he was too crazy and interesting.

  • Nate was a big prick, I agree with that. I never really liked Lily either, she just always struck me as an asshole and pushy. I guess I was more of Kenny's friend in the same so usually stayed mutal or sided with Kenny. But yeah, Larry and Lily were just not my type or characters.

  • Certainly not the worst written, but the one I hated most was Lilly; she killed Carley and tried to let me die on the farm. The worst character, again not poorly written, but bad for the group was Ben.

  • Yeah Ben was a threat but I did genuinely feel bad for him. I didn't let him fall but he died anyway, I did feel for him for sure though. I didn't ever like Roman either. Im not sure why I didn't I just didn't like him.

  • For me the worst character (as in the worst team-player) was definitely Vernon, that selfish prick. Also, Lily. People gave Kenny shit for killing Larry, even though he had a good reason to, seeking to save everyone's lives. Lily on the other hand shot Carley for no reason at all, but purely out of spite.

  • I didn't drop Ben either. I felt bad for him, he was definitely not a person suited to survive the apocalypse, and no matter how hard he tried things always ended up more fucked than they started. It was still all his fault though. If the situation was switched around some and it was Lilly, I'd have dropped her.

  • Yeah, it's horrible how Vernon just stole the boat. But yeah in the DLC it just caused his whole group to go to hell and he's either dead or a walker now. Yeah, I never really ever sided with Lily so yeah, I was with Kenny on that he was looking out for the safety of the group. It just showed he cared about that group. I gladly left Lily behind after she killed Carley, it was just horrible, and we didn't need someone on the RV who just killed someone for no apparent reason whatsoever.

  • Yeah, Ben did mess up a lot but I did cut him a lot of slack since he had no clue where his family was and he did end up taking a lot of shit. Yeah, I would've dropped Lily too. I think Ben is a walker now because Kenny said he couldn't help him? I feel bad for how he died.

  • Travis.

"I know what I'm doing! My dad is special forces!"

(For most people) Dies 1 minute later.

  • I definitely wouldn't want to go like that. I cut him some slack too, because my hate was directed at Lilly, but I still can't forgive him.

  • I Don't like Nate either. for some reason I think if Clem meets him he will do something bad to her. I hate thinking about it.

  • He did screw up too much.
Did you cut lee's arm off or not? I'm not shre what happened if you cut it off I just assumed he would go slower when trying to rescue clem.

  • I did cut it off, and it made some things more challenging for him, but he didn't get woozy and pass out anymore. At the point of him being bitten I knew he was done for, so I figured it was worth the pain if it meant being healthier to save Clem.

  • That old couple Nate kills, at least the old guy, a damn racist asshole and a stupid one too, basically reveals he has a lot of food and then asks a crazy guy like Nate to leave.

  • Yeah I had to pause the game and think because I wasn't sure what to do. I picked to not cut it off but still I was unsure if I should've. I had to pause at the end too when you could either leave lee or shoot him. Toughest decision rver.

  • I chose to have Clem shoot him. Seems awful, but to leave him suffering would have been worse I think. One of the toughest choices for me in the entire series was who to sit with in episode 202.

  • Bonnie.

    NEVER trust a junkie.

  • I choose to shoot him too. I mean I think it would be to hard for her to see him as a walker. Or even think about it. At least he would be able to go somewhere better if he dird. I think it was the right thing to do. Yeah that was hard I literally sat there for fifteen minutes thinking about who to sit with. I mean I didn't trust anyone really besides Luke and nick but still I trusted Kenny and missed him. I was literally debating with. Myself over who to pick

  • Haha, yeah I play on Ps3 so I hit the PS button and took a walk to try and figure out what to do. I ended up sitting with Luke and Nick, because I felt like Nick could use someone to talk to. On my next run through, whenever that is, I'll sit with Kenny.

  • Ben's story is heart breaking. He was just a kid struggling to prove himself and unfortunately died trying. Yeah he fucked up but he was a nice guy, he never wanted to harm anybody or anything.

  • Exactly! Agree 101% I couldn't stand Vernon and that bitch that thankfully died too. Lily, well she wasn't that bad till the point of killing Carley. Wish there was an option to fucking rip her head off at that point! I really liked Carley

  • My laptop isn't exactly a gaming laptop so I play on my iphone haha yeah I sat with Luke too. I felt bad for nick and luke but I really don't want to choose between Kenny and nick. If I had to let someone go In the group I feel like it would hae to be Alvin since I'm not really sure about him yet even though he seems nice. Where do you think luke is? I don't think Kenny would kill him inmean he's not that bad

  • Same. He will show up sooner or later. Though he is an interesting character. He's really really unpredictable that also makes him rather dangerous. I wouldn't be surprised if he was in Carver's group. Even though I can't see him taking orders from anyone.

  • Out of the remaining characters if someone was to go I'd be happiest with Alvin. I like him, but I just like the other characters more. A lot of people seem to think that Luke is in the woods trying to track them down to rescue them. I tend to agree with this, because he'd be more useful outside than in I think. I don't think Kenny would kill him over a simple disagreement at dinner. He didn't even kill Lilly after everything they went through.

  • Bonnie, definitely for joining Carver and killing Dee. Also Vernon for wanting to take care of Clementine and stealing the boat. Last but not least the St. John family for doing what they did to Mark.

  • Yeah I'm sure they got into a disagreement and Kenny told him to take a hike. I just hope luke nor Kenny dies because I trust them the most.
I like nick too a lot but I'm worried that he might die, I told Walter he was a good man since he is, he just gone through a bunch of shit. In some ways he reminds me of Ben but not nearly as bad. Did you 'save' Pete or nick?

  • I saved Pete, because I thought he needed more help than Nick since he was on the other side of the river. I knew he was bit, but I was hoping he would make it back to the cabin and have the option of amputation; a pipe dream of course. I told Walter Nick was a good man too, because I think he is. Nick is a lot braver than Ben, and the things he does he does to try and protect the group. Ben's cowardice and dishonesty got so many people killed. Luke probably wanted to ambush them in the woods or something, knowing that a head on attack like Kenny did would end badly, and Kenny didn't want to hear it. I highly doubt Kenny killed him.

  • At first I saved nick but then right after I did I was like nah I gotta save Pete. I also promised Pete I would take care of nick or whatever and yeah I do believe he is a good guys one mistake doesn't determine anything.and yep I'm sure luke is fine or at least I hope, I almost look at him like a brother. I hope Rebecca baby is a boy, I know it probably won't happen but it would be cute if they named 'him' lee.

  • I promised Pete as well, but I would have been looking out for him either way. That just added incentive. If Rebecca's baby is a boy I think Lee would be a fitting name. If it's a girl I'd say name her Carley or Christa. I'm not positive Christa is dead, but I did hear a gunshot after distracting the bandits.

  • Yeah even if I didn't promise Pete I would've still liked nick. And protected him. Yeah I think Carley would be good. I feel like sometime you're going to have to pick between Luke and Kenny again and it will be an ever bigger choice and I'm still not sure of who to pick. I'm not a big fan of sarita even though I respect her and kenny. I liked katja more. It's weird but all the characters I literally feel like are real people haha

  • That's the effect of good writing. I agree though, I feel like some of the major season 1 conflicts are going to be reborn. The Luke or Kenny tension has already started, and so did the stick to the Wellington plan no matter what tension. It's just like with Lilly, and the boat.

  • I really wouldn't know who to pick between Luke and Kenny because I trust Kenny so much and I know he would keep me safe but when shit happens he isn't exactly the most reliable person since he seemed to give up easily when it came to the train. And I trust luke but I have some doubts but overall he seems trustworthy and skilled enough to get out of bad situations. It would definitely be in the top five hardest decsision.

  • Yeah, it'd be even harder than deciding who to sit with. Kenny has gotten out of some pretty hairy situations though. He got them away from the pharmacy in episode 1, irregardless of what might have been right, he prevented Larry from turning. He got what he needed in Crawford, and he survived episode 5. I wouldn't count Kenny out as unreliable, just maybe to hot-headed at times.
