Alvin's Fate (Spoilers indoors)
One thing that REALLY got me liking the episode was when I found out that Alvin's death is determent. Now, in my first playthrough, Alvin survived (thank God). Now I was wondering this:
1) How long do you hope Alvin will survive for?
2) How long do you truly think Telltale will have him live, gut feeling?
Personally, I hope he lives through Episode 3 and a little into Episode 4.
But I think Telltale is going to kill him off in Episode 3.

Oh is it? He died in my playthrough, got really sad. And I kind of stick to only playing the episodes once, so yeah, bye bye Alvin.
To be honest I don't really care about Alvin. He's nice and all but not he's not vital. my guess is next episode he will be killed and maybe while we escape ( if we even do) we might have to kill walker Alvin
I hope he lives to at least episode 4. But I think he dies in episode 3 as Carver hates him because he killed "George" and in the preview he is sitting in a chair probably going to be tortured.

I think there'll be a good number of possibilities and variations, one of them being all determinant characters alive at the end of the season

It looks like Alvin is going to confront Rebecca about the real father of her baby. I don't think he'll snap (Telltale's already used a scene like that between Nick and Matthew), but he'll probably become despondent, as we saw in the trailer.
This might be followed by Carver putting Alvin through a public execution. This is where the player could be granted some influence on Alvin's fate: If Clem and Alvin have one last conversation prior to Alvin's death scene, Clem could either leave him twice as depressed as before, allowing Carver to put him down like a pathetic little lamb, or Clem could convince Alvin to go on fighting. This decision would result in Alvin throwing a few last defiant words at Carver (maybe even at the gathered crowd) before he's killed.
Anyway...that's how I HOPE Telltale handles it.
The first episode, i thought Alvin would become one of my favorite Characters. But he just seems so flat and boring (probably my least favorite of the Cabin) so I wouldn't really mind if he died in the next episode unless he changes soon.
I really hope they don't kill him off in the next episode, but if they do, at least give him a quick and painless death. He might not have the character-depht of someone like Nick yet, but I'm sure the whole George-thing will change that.

He'll die once we learn about the whole George thing. If he's already dead in peoples' playthroughs, then we'll learn about it from Carver.

I think either ALvin and Nick will survive a lot more than people are expecting. THey can both die in this episode but I'm guessing if they survive at elast one of them will make it until the end.

I never heard Carver say that to Alvin because Clem was outside with Kenny, but I'm guessing he is not really dangerous just hot tempered.
He problably had a reason to kill that George guy, I don't see Carlos trusting Alvin if he was a dark guy

Interesting point, and I may have to agree, the facts are there, and if he lives in your play-through for all we know he could snap after learning whose baby it is.....
WHen the stats appeared after I played only 30% of the people killed ALvin, but I guess the number is increasing now
I didn't wanted either to die but oh well... I thought Kenny could shot Carver and ALvin could just make a run for it

Those 30 % went outside to find Kenny. That doesn't necessarily mean they got Alvin killed. He only dies, if you tell Kenny to shoot Carver.
I never surrender, maybe it's not that good, but that's what I do.
I thought I could go get Kenny and Luke and then we will have more fire power and we could just save them
