Really, this is just a symptom of a broader problem: waaaayyyy too many people are treating Clem as if she were a full-grown adult rather than an especially mature 11 year old girl.
Yeah, yeah, I know. "You're not big, you're not little, you're alive" and all that. That just means everyone has a responsibility to learn how to survive in this world. It doesn't mean you treat everyone identically. If you're a grown man and can't figure out how to turn off a wind turbine, for example, your best bet still is not to defer to the expertise of the 11 year old girl.
Not sure if it means anything, but Clementine isn't exactly your average 11 year old kid. I think its reasonable that she gets treated a little differently.. I agree that some of the characters go overboard though.
Like if you happen to choose to follow Nick at the end of episode one (causing Pete to die) and Nick is all like "YOU COULD HAVE SAVED HIM"!1111!! And I'm like.. lolwhat.

I totally agree. Most of the cabin group showed zero compassion for a hurt little girl. People don't turn into walkers in the blink of an eye. All they had to do was have someone watching over her to see if she showed the symptoms or stopped breathing. I'm trying to forgive them since they were so much nicer in episode 2... but their treatment of Clem in ep 1 still sticks in my craw lol
Well than sry to say that but than the group is retarded. I mean you dont die in a second. You had fiewer and your skin turns darker...You c… morean WATCH the moment when she dies and than shoot her in the head?! I mean its a girl! A wounded girl! Even if she got bitten, I would give her a good time before it's time to go.Lock her in the shed is like "LoL lets leave her dying..."
I didn't get the line he was talking about, but you should probably wait until the episode is out. He might not say it at all, or maybe it's determinant, or maybe it was taken out of context in the previews.
To be fair, the alternative option for Carlos would have been to tell the 11-year old girl to guard his ass against a legion of the undead while he fumbles around with a control panel in the dark.
But yeah, I would have still liked to hear him say something like "Are you sure you can handle this?" or "It could be dangerous." Then maybe Clem could say something about seeing her dad operate similar machinery since he was an engineer.

If Clem decided to surrender to Carver, he says something along the lines of "Well, at least ONE of us didn't give up..." You get the "Not goin' out without a fight!" bit if you went to find Kenny and Luke.
LoL there are 3 reasons why I'm still nice to the group
Reason 1: I promises Pete to watch over nick (By the way, who asks a little girl to watch over a grown man but...doesnt matter...)
Reason 2: Sarah the helpless stupid little brat. Well I feel pity for her because she is 15 and act like an 8 years old girl. It's clearly her fathers fault but well...I'm her best friend and i gave her a pinky-promise too
Reason 3: Luke...my new brah!
The rest of the cabin group is...okay...i dont like them that much but they are okay. LoL i thought the only reason why rebecca is nice to me in ep2 is because I threatened her in ep1 to tell everyone that she fucked carver, if she's not nicer to me.

Well, I wouldn't blame him. After all, he isn't one to give up.
Still, it's most likely going to turn out completely different, as most previews do.

it's just how he is,kenny is an egotistical prick, you disagree with him one time, and he'll just act like you're the worst person on earth
Yay! We got the old Kenny back! - 'do what I want or I'll throw a hissyfit'
Hope Clementine can respond "yeah... I should have shot him with that gun I didn't have... glare "
It was weird for me.... I went and found Kenny so he wasnt mad at me for once over a trivial thing ....... Guess i'll have to wait and see
Damn right bro...you are right about this, you are always right!
