Carlos's Backstory
so in the second episode we got a hint of some backstory with Carlos. when Sarah ask her father not to do something to Carver, and Luke quickly reply "of course he won't, Sarah, all right? your dad is the nicest man I know, which is why he's not going to do anything crazy or.....not nice. Right?" (Luke was trying to get Sarah not to worry, but some of that line was directed at Carlos) Carlos reply's to Sarah "you know these are bad people, sweetie."
then later in the episode, at least for the people who didn't went to find Luke and Kenny. When Carver was attacking Carlos he mention that Carlos killed a friend of his, George.

what do you guys think? did Alvin kill George trying to escape from Caver's comunity

Yeah, when Luke said that in the beginning, it set off a few alarm bells. Or maybe he was just talking about medical malpractice instead of outright murder. I mean, given "Doctor" Carlos's skill in the medical arts, that wouldn't seem too far fetched.
Seems a pretty big hint that Carlos may have seriously harmed someone in a fit of rage. And apparently it made a deep enough impression on Sarah that she fears seeing it again, to the point that Luke feels the need to remind Carlos to watch his temper.
yeah a doctor that has rage not a good mix. -_-
With Carlo's hands I don't think he will be able to take care of Rebecca now
I don't know why, but I get the feeling that Clementine will be delivering that baby. Probably because of the slide for episode 3. That should be really interesting if it happens. : /
yeah I saw that, and if that happen, we might get more info on Christa. in certain times in the 2nd series things that a similar to past elements from the 1st series. in those moments you can chose to mention people from the first series. examples: option to mention lee while talking to luke in the cabin in the first episode, ben comes up in the shed that nick and clem hides after saving nick by the river, after the bridge shooting, Alvin brings up a person with a itchy trigger finger, Lilly. If Clem dose delver the baby a option might come up for Christa, we might find out what happen to her baby.
Things don't always plan out thro. the screenshots for the episodes are examples, they don't always appear in the episode, if they do not everyone is there in that scene, sometimes its just one person, other times people are there but in different positions, elements don't match, its day no its night.

Carlos shows a lot of guts standing up to Carver and taking his torture without giving information. He's clearly not a wuss. He could've hurt a lot of people (not necessarily good ones) to protect the group, and specially Sarah. As for Alvin, he's a pretty big guy, so I guess that if this George guy was trying to stop them from leaving, he could've killed him when defending himself. Take into account that George was very probably less than civil in this situation.
I agree. I have a higher respect of Carlos after the 2nd episode. Its shown that Carlos is scared of Carver more then other cabin members. and its hinted that he and Carver hate each other. Carlos might know what Carver can do.
I think Carlos's backstory is a big reason why he shelters Sarah. She seems to have something going on with her. If you ask her who is at the door, she stammers and says that she doesn't remember. I feel like something happened at Carver's camp involving Carlos (and Alvin and the other guys + Rebecca) that scarred Sarah and made them escape. This probably ties into how Carver is trying to turn Clem against the cabin group. Maybe the truth of what went down will be revealed in the next episode.
