What if Clem just got the key to escape and just made it out when she can hear in the other room carver trying to rape Sarah and she has a c… morehoice to ether help her and risk going back into the cell or leave her and escape with Rebecca and go Kenny and Carlos and the rest.
I don't think that the hooded guy on the right is Matthew. It's almost definitely Eddie (From 400 Days) in my opinion, but we all have our own theories. Who knows, maybe it could be the memory of Matthew's death.

that hat to me resembles he past and indicates she still has her innocents, but when she looses her innocents she looses her hat cuz it represent what she was b4, and now that she has changed, her hat is a lie so she doesent have it anymore.

Great analysis, I like it. But man those episode themes are creepy. They seem to be getting worse, perhaps like Clementine's future mental s… moretate. Telltale has probably realised by now that when characters start to lose it, they do crazier things and the fans might lose a bit of respect towards them. My thought is that they're planning to do this to Clem, so that we're playing as a character that's slowly turning into a 'monster' despite her young age.
'Amid the Ruins' seems to help prove this point, as the blood on her face is either some kind of war paint, or Clem's getting some blood on her hands. She's also missing her hat. Now, judging from what we've seen in Season 1 and part of Season 2, her hat is something that is incredibly important to her; it's pretty much the last thing that she has to remind her of her parents. Sorry but destroying her mental sanity would be a bad move. There has to be some sort of accomplishment by the end of the season. If this wh… moreole season's point is to destroy her then it'll just make you want her to find peace through death or something. I've just had another notion about where things could go in episode 5. Supposing Clem and Carver are the only ones to have made it all the w… moreay to the end of season 2? Due to a series of brutal events throughout episodes 3/4, both characters are now on their last legs, physically and emotionally, stripped down to the purest, basest archetypes of good vs. evil. Imagine Clem being stalked by Carver in the middle of a punishing blizzard (not unlike that scene in THE SHINING where Jack Nicholson chases Danny Lloyd through the snow) while Carver screams "Clementiiiiiiine! "Clementiiiiiiine!" somewhere close by.
