Sure, but I guess in that situation it wouldn't really have any bearing on whether clem would hug her or not, considering Clem can hug Kenny who also wanted to kill ben
But Kenny didn't just try to 'beat the shit out of him': in some playthroughs he can tell Lee to drop Ben in the bell tower.
It depends on how you play your Clem I guess. I mean, my clem stopped liking Lilly after she shot Carley, but she stopped liking Kenny after he dropped the salt lick on Larry's head.
I guess my Clem would hug neither, but that doesn't mean that there shouldn't be an option to hug her if we want.
Since we play as Clem in an RPG, it's up to us to determine her reactions to people, not Telltale deciding 'you like him, you don't like her' etc.
" Oh, he was indeed, however Lilly believed that by stealing supplies Ben was essentially killing all of them. "
Lilly " believed " that … moreBen was stealing supplies, Kenny knew that Ben stole the supplies and was responsible for his familys death. That's a huge difference. Lilly pointed a gun at Ben's head and tryed to shot him without any evidence that Ben stole the supplies, Kenny just tryed to beat the shit out of this fucking shitbird! If he would have wanted to shot him, he could have done so. Ofcouse Kenny was happy if you decided to " let Ben (aka that fucking shitbird) go ". But in fact, Kenny tryed to save Ben's life in the alleyway and forgave him, even after all the terrible things he had done!
" Especially judging by the fact that Clem and Lilly seem to have had an okay kind of relationship (she's nice to her, and gives her hair 'thingies' to tie her hair back while she sleeps, which clem holds on to), I think Clem would still… [view original content]
Kenny forgave Ben after a couple of days, but Lilly might have as well if we'd given her time. Unfortunately we didn't get to see her character develop after that.
I think Kenny had a little more reason to want to kill Ben than Lilly did, not trying to justify it, but...
Also, Kenny forgave Ben and t… moreried to save him ,though to be fair, Clementine didn't see that, did she?
And it's also determinant that Clem can't see Kenny wanting to kill Ben. So there's that too, but aside from all that, you've got a point.
" But Kenny didn't just try to 'beat the shit out of him': in some playthroughs he can tell Lee to drop Ben in the bell tower. "
Ofcourse Kenny wanted Ben to be dead. But the truth is, Kenny never tryed to kill Ben.

Kenny thought that Larry was dead already (what he probaply was) and was going to turn into a Walker soon. His whole family was captured by crazy cannibals, that could have tryed to kill them or god knows what else. Lilly on the other hand cold hearted murdered a person, without any serious reason. You can't even compare this two things.
In my eyes, Kenny did the right thing when he threw the SaltLick on Larrys head, but that's just my own opinion. The point is, Clem will understand the reason's why he did it, even if it isn't the right thing to do in her eyes.
That's true.

I like both Lily and Kenny. Both of them fks up in season 1 but still they are part of the family. I would react the same towards Lily as i did to Kenny and hug her. She might have changed with time. I mean a lot of people would end up like Lily did if your only real family died.

Maybe. Lilly wasn't mean to Clementine, from what we could see of them both in S1 before things went to shit, they had a good relationship. In Jolene's video, you can see Lilly leaning down to Clem and interacting with her, and Lilly also gave her the purple hair ties that Clem is still using today. Though I think Clem seeing Lilly kill Carley/Doug understandably soured her image quite a bit for Clem, I think Lilly would be nice to her if they both somehow managed to meet again in S2.
Not to say that I'm a fan of Lilly or a sympathizer. I was neutral towards her, but I don't think she's the cold heartless bitch that a lot of people seem to make her out to be.
I would want to confront her about the murder right away. Depending on her response to that, I would act anywhere from cautious to brutally bitchy. I wouldn't feel right having Clementine kill her, unless shes just cackling "Mwahaha fuck Carley!". If Kenny tried to kill her... I might not stop him. No hugging.
A. granted.
B. fully understandable.
C. given her military background (especially as a pencil pusher), she knows supplies are life, and stealing them for whatever reason means death.
D. again a hard choice for hard times, fully understandable, especially given her military background.
E. it does make one emotional.
F. hard to see that not bugging someone.
G. sieges make it hard to operate, which is pretty bad when you aren't doing so hot to begin with, so i'm with you.
H. the decision to stay is contrary to her military background, though the situation with her dad does make it understandable.
so i am with you so far, in fact the main thing i didn't like about lilly was her attitude, but i understood her decisions and felt that she did her best and shouldn't be blamed for them.
now about the summary execution of carly, at which point she wasn't the leader, lee was. she snapped, and at that point she should have realized what she had done, but she tried to justify it. in the military they bring you to the breaking point on purpose so that when you do break you don't break as bad as lilly did. those that do break that bad understand they fucked up and have to accept the consequences, which lilly did not do.
i wouldn't have been surprised to see her alive and well, she was a survivor, but she was not a good person to have by you in a crisis. i wouldn't have shot her, but i certainly wouldn't have given her a warm welcome. frankly if she was there is would be time to move one without spending the night.
Well I would hug her but I doubt that could be an option after she killed YouKnowWho(Not Voldemort). I think it could possible be an option… more since she was from the original group at the pharmacy and she was just happy to see a familiar face again. Honestly I am a Lilly fan and I feel bad for her. Life in the zombie apocalypse for Lilly is not as easy. She is so stressed because she has so many problems to take care of.
A. Her dad needs pills from the pharmacy. If they don't get them he could have a heart attack and die.
B. Fights with Kenny can be exhausting. How do you lead a group when one member wants it differently?
C.Paranoia. Your supply stocks are being stolen by one of the group members.
D.New People. Ben and Mr Parker/Travis come to the motor inn. Its more mouths to feed. But this was the only thing I disagreed with Lilly because we couldn't just leave them in the woods...
E. Starvation and lack of food. Hard to functi… [view original content]
No way. Mainly because of the obvious reason but I dont think Clementine even had that much interaction with Lilly. Then again she probably didn't talk to Carley much either. I do feel like amongst all the adults she would've known Kenny and Katja the most (other than Lee). *And Christa and Omid
A (skipping)
B. Yes but if no one took his side then there was no point in a democracy because no one chose his idea or stood by it which… more is the whole idea of democracy. If they don't have the balls than that's their fault not Lilly's fault
C. Well this is the zombie apocalypse. It is a new world and it changes people. In E1 Lilly was nice. E2 shes really stressed out. E3 she lost it since her dad died and people are stealing stuff.
D. "Meh"
E. As I said. People handle things differently. Everyone was made unique for good or for bad. This sadly was one of her bad's. Again she has changed so she could probably handle more pressure before than now.
F. Well.... She still knew what was going to happen. When she turned around she saw a dead man with a salt lick in his head. That was just horrible..
G. Its the responsibility of the leader. She took on the role but didn't see the consequences. It is her fault for making that mistak… [view original content]
I didn't save Doug in any of my playthroughs ^^; But it wouldn't make any difference like Zyphon said she still killed an innocent member of the group so any trust I might have had has been lost.
That said, I wouldn't mind seeing her again... it just wouldn't be on friendly terms :P
Well, my Clem woulda hugged Lilly. I actually liked her, and i understood her. I would have been nicer to her in season 1 if i knew she wouldn't leave with my goddamn RV.
Kenny forgave Ben after a couple of days, but Lilly might have as well if we'd given her time. Unfortunately we didn't get to see her character develop after that.
My opinion.. When we met her she didn't really want us there. But later she was grateful for Lee's help in getting the pills. And in the end when she talked to you I found her words were nice. Just my opinion though

People call her cold hearted for 1. Killing Carley in cold blooded 2. If you bring her along she steals your rv and leaves everyone (even clementine) to die
IMO that's why people hate her

You pointed out how she was given time but was still upset. I pointed out that Kenny had far longer to overcome his anger against Ben than Lilly had to overcome her sadness about what she had done.
Well, it's not that Lilly wasn't given as much time, it's that she stole the RV if given that time.
My point being that you said "if we'd given her time". Technically, some people did give her time, she just left with the RV when given that time. So... We actually do know what would happen if she was given time to forgive Ben. She'd have stolen the RV and just fucked off.
Also, it's not really that she ever needed to forgive Ben, because at that point, she didn't know, she just assumed. Taking in the fact that she didn't know... She probably would have never "forgiven" Ben, she may have been sorry, but forgive is really the wrong word.
You pointed out how she was given time but was still upset. I pointed out that Kenny had far longer to overcome his anger against Ben than Lilly had to overcome her sadness about what she had done.
Ergo those situations aren't really comparable.
Carley was and still is my favorite character in all of TWD Universe. However, I will still forgive Lilly and hug her. I don't know what I would have done in Lilly's situation....
I would have imagined a reaction more like the "I thought you were dead," from the trailer rather than a hug. Which was why I thought the one returning in Episode 2 was Lilly...
Hold on a second, I just realized this. Lilly killed Carley/Doug at night, and if they took her with, it was the next day when she stole the RV. It was dawn when Kenny found out that Ben was at fault for the bandit attack. By the time Kenny forgave Ben, it wasn't even the next day. So Kenny forgave Ben within about the same time period that Lilly had from murdering Doug/Carley to stealing the RV.
So on top of your argument already being invalid, it is now thus further invalidated by this.

(?) rtu2d2 has brought Lee back to life, but as a walker.
And yet they are cool with her forgetting what Kenny did to Larry?
It wasn't even clean like Carley's death, either. She got spattered with Larry's brain juices!
Might wanna change avatar then...

Agreed, Lilly was a bitch from the time she was introduced into the series. She wanted to throw them out!
Given her time? Wasn't there an option to take her along and then she steals the RV, or did I just imagine that?
Oh, my mistake, I was under the impression that 48 hours was longer than 60 minutes.
