Characters disappearing....why?!?!
its sad to see characters dying in walking dead. Bad stuff happens in this series. but lately in the last two episodes Christa and Luke disappear, seriously? Why Tell Tale why? If you want to kill of Christa please just show it. And Luke... you make him disappear and the last 2 things we heard about him were that Kenny told him to take a hike, and snide comment from the main bad guy that he might have run away, which seem to convince a lot of people he might be a traitor, even though Carver isn't a person you could trust.
I understand why you kill people of quickly in the 2nd series, to show Clementine alone and valuable. but seriously, you want to throw away two good characters just so to move things along in the story plot? Christa is a remaining part of the 1st series of characters, she grow as a character - we meet her and one of the things she said was to stay in a group of 2 people not a large numer like 7 or 8, she is a strong character and never gave up and that only changed in the 2nd series. Luke is kind, he took some convincing Clem wasn't bitten, but when that happen he was kind and wofarm hearted. he bonded with a brother-sister relationship with Clementine, he joke around with her and trust her abilities.
If I sound pissed off, I am. Why? because like a lot of things in the 1st series I don't expect to get a answer, a lot of things were sweep under the rag, then things moved on. what do you guys think?

You do realize Luke is not gone for good right? They didn't just write him out of the season suddenly. He will show back up.
As for Christa, uncertainty is part of the world now. I hope she is ok, but we'll probably never know either way.
i'd chalk it up to trying to leave people guessing about frivolous things, rather than focus on the plot holes.
Don't worry Luke isn't gone for good he will be back probably next episode or EP.4
as for Christa I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of her :P
I have to agree with you that this Idea of making the characters dissapear and leave us hanging is getting a bit old, Christa,Luke,Kenny,Lilly, Omid, Molly, Vernon. All those characters were missing at one point, Some of them still are but my point is Telltale is overusing this Technique but if I'll take it from anyone its them.
Too many unknown statuses
But they're all done in realistic ways, and I'm sure that all of them aside from maybe Lilly will get answers.
Luke is pretty much good as dead. and it was not a good way to go out either, like series 1 I don't expect finding out why. 1st series: ben and the bandits, Ben's friends was written off, Stranger and Clementine Two-way radio, so it wasn't broken?
I guess you are going to be one of very very few people are really surprised when Luke shows back up next episode then.
what makes you think his coming back?
My in-depth knowledge of narrative story structure.
thanks that very confronting.....sorry not really.
the bandits didn't have ben's friend. he said that by the time he figured that out, he was already in too deep and couldn't stop working with them. the radio is a bit odd, tho.
Trolling?
Luke will come back
I guarantee it.
First of all, you don't spend two episodes setting up a character just to have him disappear suddenly and without any explanation.
Secondly, you don't get all your main characters captured by the bad guy without an out. Luke is the out. He's the one member of the group who is not currently captured.
I highly doubt we hear anything about Molly. That would be a huge stretch since we left her way back in Savannah
We may or may not hear anything about Vernon.
We'll definitely see Luke again.
If we find out anything about Christa, it will likely be that she's dead.
Me trolling? I'm not trying to. I seriously hope so...
I thought OP was talking about actual disappearances, not a minor side character going on with her brief life. Anyway, it's not exactly poor or lazy writing with the others, either.
It's realistic and definitely not just done as a cheap way of getting out of developing a character. I'd be more bothered if everyone stayed as a single unit with no deviations until they all died. Now that would be poor writing.
Both Luke AND Christa will be coming back, don't you worry. Just because a character gets separated from the group doesn't mean that they're dead. I mean, look at Kenny.
Yes, I completely agree with you. I really don't see what the OP is complaining about. I was just responding to the idea that we would "get answers" to all the characters we don't know what happened to. I doubt we will.
Definitely Luke isn't gone, but I don't see any reason to be so sure that we'll see any more of Christa (alive). It's not completely out of the question, but I wouldn't get my hopes up...
I've quickly adopted the approach that until you see a body (Walker or otherwise) you can't rule them out. So until Luke or Christa (or their walker forms) show up, I say they're still alive.
