If it can be someone who has died, then Walter. I loved everything about him. I just wanted to give him the biggest hug ever!

Edit: Probably should have read ALL of the OP and I would have confirmed that your favourite character can, in fact, be dead.

    1. Nick
    2. Luke
    3. Uncle Pete (Pete would be 2nd, but he's dead now)
  • New Kenny.

    Joking.

Seriously, probably Luke, Pete, and Carlos. Maybe Sarita, but we don't know enough about her yet. Also maybe Sarah. Maybe.

Walter. He seemed like an intelligent and rational character, even though he lets Nick get eaten by walkers if you don't say Nick is a good man. It's a shame he died since he reminded me of Hershel from the tv series, who was full of wisdom and always thought things through. Would have been great to have a character like Walter throughout the next one or two episodes and get advice from him.

    2. Nick
    3. Carlos

    Including dead ones?

    1. Walter

    Nick, Alvin, and Sarah.

    • Nick is a great guy. He has realistic flaws, he fucks up, but he has a backbone and is actually able to correct his mistakes and apologize. Also, I love his honesty. Clearly Uncle Pete has rubbed off on him. Also, he's hilarious and adds some much needed subtle comic relief.

    • Alvin's just cool. He's the only person who doesn't agree with putting Clem in the shed (until Rebecca shuts him up that is) and he goes out of his way to get her medical supplies and a juicebox, even with the risk of him getting caught and seriously punished by the other members of the group. You might say he's a pushover, and that's probably true, but I think he's a nice and empathetic guy just not inclined to be really confrontational with his opinions like Nick or Rebecca is.

    • I like Sarah, she reminds me of both Clem and Duck from the first season. She also stands up for you if you're honest with Carlos about the Carver encounter at the cabin, and I liked that. I can foresee some interesting character development for her in the future.

Honorable mention: Carver. I don't like him as a person but I do like him as an antagonist, I'd love if it TTG made him more humanized and less of a Governor type in the upcoming episodes. Would add more depth to the whole situation if we found out he isn't as awful of a guy as we initially thought. Or maybe he can still be awful but with a 'good' side so to speak.

  • Same as yours. In A House Divided I became really attached to Nick for some reason, it sucks that he's determinant though. :(

  • Luke. Not gonna lie, I'm unfortunately a total fangirl when it comes to him.

    1. Luke
    2. Pete
    3. Walter

  • They're all various degrees of awful but if I had to pick one I'd pick Nick just because he's the most realistically, sensibly written.

Everyone else operates like they're written by someone who's either distracted, sleep-deprived or suffering a head injury.

  • Nah, I'm just not one for hating people.

    1. Nick
    2. Alvin
    3. Carlos

    I honestly don't trust Luke.

  • I said INCLUDING dead ones, not exclusively dead ones!

    1. Uncle Peter Joseph Randall
    2. Nick
    3. Luke
    1. Luke (older brother type)
    2. Nick (lovable loser)
    3. Sarah (grows on you despite naïveté)
  • Oh dear, his interview with Michael Madsen made me cringe so fucking hard. Never heard of the guy before (though he seems to be quite famous on the internet, so blames on me) and now i can't stand the guy.

perfect time to use this lol

    1. Luke ( cuz he makes Clem happy)
    2. Pete because how he died was FUBAR
    3. Matthew because he seemed so chill
  • I love Luke a lot!!

  • Then i will keep avoiding him att all costs :)

    1. Sarah. She's so sweet and goofy.

    2. Walter. I dug his philosophical side (and the way his ideals were put to the test in the episode)

    3. Luke. Love his dynamic with Clem, he's like a cool big bro!

  • Nah, it seems like more of a brother/sister relationship to me. It's probably just because I'm a big Scott Porter fan irl haha.

  • Luke
    Pete
And Nick, even though hes an idiot

  • I'd say Alvin.

I love his humor. I even saw a little bit of Omid in him in Episode 1, as both are a beacon of hope in otherwise crappy situations (not that Alvin would ever top Omid though). :P

  • I miss Omid. Like, a lot. I was so pumped when I heard he was going to be in Season 2 and then...yeah.

    1. Pete, for being a real man
    2. Nick, "Luke, he is becoming a danger to the group." :D
    3. uhhh, Walt, nice guy Walt
  • Too soon, too soon.

For me, Nick is the type of character Ben should have been. A potential detriment to the group, but not someone who was made for the sole purpose of being hated with every passing thing that he does. He's made realistic mistakes with terrible results, but still has sympathetic actions and relationships on top of them.

Fond of Sarah too. We didn't see Clem and Duck interact very often, so it's nice to see more interactions with another kid in this setting. She's likable, but manages to be her own character by not having quite the same level of maturity as Clem.

I do like Luke and his conversation with Clem about everything that happened, but I'd still like more of a chance to get to know him outside of killing walkers together.

    1. Nick: A damn good anti-hero and foil to Luke. Easily one of the more relatable characters. Less obnoxiously stupid than Ben, but just as talented at endangering others.
    2. Walter: What a nice guy. Shame he gets his heart and brain broken within ten minutes of each other.
    3. Rebecca: Her heel-face turn was rather jarring, but she's well on her way to becoming a tolerable individual with some interesting character development potential.

I could easily keep going. I actually like most, if not all of the characters. I haven't made up my mind on the new, bearded Kenny. on one hand, I think it's great he's back, but I groaned out loud during the bit in the episode 3 preview when he bitches at Clem for protecting Alvin. I understand that old habits are hard to break, but a little self-awareness and possibly an apology for his asshole attitude in Savannah (determinant) would be nice.

  • I groaned at that too. I know he's always been ornery and likes to bitch, but to a little girl of all people? What the hell was she supposed to do? If I was in Clem's situation I would have 'given up' too. I find it out of line that he would say something like that to an 11 year old like she's partially responsible or something. I love you Kenny, but you're a real SOB sometimes.
