Juicy helped Clem through the painful stitching process in the first episode, Peaches helped feed the entire group and then some. I just hope they return in later episodes, they both sacrificed themselves to keep Clem going through this horrid nightmare.
Favorite New character: (deceased) Walter - A really good guy who I would have loved to see more screen time / (Alive so far): Sarah - Not as naive and helpless as she seems.
Nick or Pete, I loved Pete from the start seeing as he was everything you'd want in a survivor, not to mention he probably would've made the best mentor and protector and guardian for Clementine. Some people hate Nick, but let's be honest he isn't that bad. First of all, he owns up to his mistakes and at least tries to apologise, he took no happiness from killing Matthew on the bridge. Also, despite what people might think he's a good shot and I decided to save him, I think he has a roll to play in the upcoming episodes, provided the story branch enough and I think his character development's been one of the best so far, so hopefully we'll get to see more.
I also liked Walter and Matthew. They seemed like great people with big hearts. It's sad that those kind of people die so quick and early in this game... or well... games in general.
Pete is my favorite. He is the only hero in our group. And I still like Alvin but I feel we will know more about him in e3. I don't care much about the rest, maybe Sarah and Rebecca for obvious reason. And Carlos.

3. Pete although he wasn't in the game very long, he seemed like the perfect guy you want in your group, determined and wise.

• Nick is a great guy. He has realistic flaws, he fucks up, but he has a backbone and is actually able to correct… more his mistakes and apologize. Also, I love his honesty. Clearly Uncle Pete has rubbed off on him. Also, he's hilarious and adds some much needed subtle comic relief.
• Alvin's just cool. He's the only person who doesn't agree with putting Clem in the shed (until Rebecca shuts him up that is) and he goes out of his way to get her medical supplies and a juicebox, even with the risk of him getting caught and seriously punished by the other members of the group. You might say he's a pushover, and that's probably true, but I think he's a nice and empathetic guy just not inclined to be really confrontational with his opinions like Nick or Rebecca is.

Luke - He's just adorkable, and I love his brother/sister dynamic with Clem.
Nick - I kinda thought he was annoying during my first playthrough, but during my second I grew to really like him. He's clumsy and hot-tempered, but he's also very brave and cares a lot about his friends.
Pete - He was probably the nicest person to Clem and I'm really bummed he didn't make it far.
The new characters that I like so far in no particular order
Luke - The most easy going character thus far, though by means not perfect as he has a temper of his own if pushed. His stance as the older brother archetype is refreshing to see after seeing several father archetypes in recent games, though I hope that he gets a bit more development the next time we see him.
Sarah - She's basically the Clementine we get if Lee wasn't around to teach her how to survive in the zombie apocalypse, and thankfully she doesn't come across as annoying, but rather more innocent and lonely. The opportunity for Clementine to bond with someone the same age as her is a nice addition as well.
Alvin - A nice individual who isn't necessarily a complete pushover and self-aware of how he and his group treat Clementine the first time they met, though I'll admit that other than being nice he doesn't have any other strong qualities compared to other characters.
Pete - Enjoyed his interaction with Clementine, and its a shame that he is quickly killed off. I also fed bad that I chose to save Nick over Pete, as I ended up missing out on more of his character that though he appeared brave, he was terrified of dying, and yet still managed to sacrifice himself to save Clementine.
Nick - Didn't like him at first and started warming up when he apologised for his hostility. Didn't want to give up on him, even though his infamous act on the bridge made me lose my patience with him. His stance to own up to his actions as soon as he knows he's in the wrong as opposed to leaving them until the last possible moment (I'm looking at you Ben) was also an admirable quality.

His speech about life before the apocalypse really made me view him as a more real person.
