Did anyone like larry in season 1?

Probably the only kinds of people who liked or loved Larry from season one would be the trolls of this website and in general. As they'd be the only type that could relate to him. And Lilly of course because he was her dad.

I liked him, he was pretty hilarious at times. And he reminds me of my dad. He's definitely an insensitive jerk, but I don't think he has evil intentions.

So one of the many video game characters I like automatically defines Who Iam as a person ? That argument is terrible, Only a true Troll would say something like that.
Of course I did, it was nothing personal with Lee, I think anyone would at least be mistrustive against a convictive killer.

I never really liked him, but about halfway through Episode 2 I stopped hating him.
Five minutes after that, salt lick. I regret nothing...
He was an ass but an amusing one. I liked what he brought to the table as far as interactions went. Shame about his taste in women though (I was rooting for him too).
i hate that guy Lee risked his life for his medicine and after you have them and saved his life (in a way ) he just put KO lee and let him to the walkers ,if kenny wasn't there Lee will certainly be dead right now .
He's basically my favorite character from season 1 other than Lee. In fact I even wrote a whole comprehensive character review of him showing his layers of depth and comprehension.
I didn't like this guy one bit and in real life I'd be the first one suggesting to destroy his brain because Larry almost got me killed once.
He redeemed himself a little in episode two when he helps save Lee from zombie teacher. I was half-expecting him to 'accidentally' brain Lee with the axe instead of the walker.
Not in every playthrough. In mine it's Mark who saves me from him. Oh man, Mark was really one of the best characters in season 1.
Even in death, he still had Lee's back... he was a damn good man.

Larry was a shameless dick, but I didn't hate him. There was something that felt realistic about his unapologetic attitude amongst the subtle humanizing moments (like his statement on looking out for Lilly and Clem, and carrying his wife's ring), and it made for interesting conflict with the group.
And unlike say, Rebecca, I thought there was some logical reasoning behind Larry's hostility towards Lee. Makes me wonder where the story would have gone if he had lived.
I immediately ctrl+Fed when I opened the thread and was not disappointed when I found 5 "charm out the ass" quotes.
He was only worried about Lilly.
I hated him, but at the same time tried to save him in episode 2. A complete asshole, but he did have his more sympathetic moments.
I think Larry's that kind of asshole everyone comes to like in the end. He's the typical asshole that you hate, but you know he's not actually a bad man
Larry was a hard ass and i found my self really hating him in the game for always giving Lee a hard time... and nearly killing him.. However he did get a laugh out of me with his "I got charm coming out of my ass" line lol.
Somehow I think if Larry hadn't had that heart condition, he would still be alive well into the apocalypse.since everyone needs to be a bit of an ass to make it... Yes?
