Luke is Kenny's son!
People have been talking about how Luke is Carver's son, but that's actually false. Luke is Kenny's son! It seems like he changed his name from Duck or Kenny Jr. to Luke since he's is the type to move on since those names just remind him of his dead parents (thought to be dead father) and his horrible past. Think about it. All the subtle hints with the duck portrait at the cabin and the duck statue at the lodge. When Kenny said "hand me that can Duck." He wasn't talking to Clem, but was referring to Luke. Kenny actually didn't even mean to say that, but every parent has a sixth sense when it comes to there children. I don't even think he knew that he was directing it at Luke. Luke tried to play it off and say "Who's Duck?"
Luke is worried about what his dad has become, but is always willing to stay by his side just like when he volunteered to go with Kenny when Kenny said he needed a hand. Luke cares about his dad and doesn't want anything bad to happen to him. He's willing to stay by his side and help him go through his grief. Luke hasn't told Kenny the truth because he believes that he isn't ready for it, but in due time he will be. Remember that cute little annoying kid that we cared about? We'll it looks like he's grown into a nice young man. Don't worry Kenny! Your son is coming to the rescue! Kenny will be so proud. :,)

Edit: Guys you don't think I'm actually serious right? This is almost 2 years after the events of season 1. I don't expect 10 year old Duck to be in his mid-20's in 2 years.

Luke unfortunately got the genes for his hair from his mother Katjaa. It makes sense why Luke cares for Nick so much though. His mullet/cap combo reminds him of his old man.

Considering we saw saw duck die in the 1st game.
It would be kinda cool if turns out in upcoming episodes that Luke really is Kenny's son.
For example, in high school or college, Kenny got some girl pregnant, and never knew it.
That would make a cool story!
Imagine......
Kenny and Luke being held captive by Carver, locked in a separate room, and with nothing else to do they begin talking.
During the course of the conversation, Kenny mentions an old girlfriend that he had in college, but lost when her and her family moved out of state.
Luke begins speaking of his parents, his mother in particular and how she had him while still a teenager after leaving fort Lauderdale Florida, and both realize that they are speaking of the same woman, after Kenny here's her name and description.
It's revealed that she was a month pregnant a with Luke, before she left Florida.
It's also revealed that the man who was her husband married her after Luke was born.
This ends up giving Kenny renewed hope and purpose in his life.
Something to fight for, along side Sarita and Clementine.

When Lee shot Duck he accidentally opened a portal to the past and Duck was dragged into it, traveling through that portal made the bite dissapear, when he arrived to the past he went to the forest and waited for Katjaa and Duck from the past, then Duck from the future Killed Katjaa, we thought she suicided but no, then he ran into the forest, found the sacred grove (zelda twilight princess) pulled out the master sword and Rauru made him grow up into Luke, the master sword became an all mighty machete and thats it, true story
