This is very unlikely... But in Episode 1 : A New Day, Carley is fixing a radio. Once Lee repairs it a WABE reporter is talking about staying indoors and away from infected. When his producer tells him they have to leave because of a supposed walker attack, he signs off. Carley at some point says "Steve" which must be his name.

In 400 day's in Russell's story, Russell talks to Nate about his leader named Steve. A "mean dude" who believed 7 was the magic number so they wouldn't allow anyone in their group. Whenever they came across survivors they killed them and took their stuff.

Maybe Steve went crazy after watching everyone in the studio die? Do you think it could be the same Steve? Is it just coincidence? I think these are the only people in the game that have the same name so could it be the same person?

    I think people are downvoting because this is a overused theory already. Lots of people made threads about steve, even i did one a long time ago.

    If he makes an appearance in the game then we kind of have a background on him and we know who he is.

    Steve is a pretty common name, and there have been characters with the same name before (Walter - dead dog in Ep4, Walt - old man in Russell's story in 400 days, Walter - A house divided.)

    I cannot say this enough. They do, say and mean absolutely nothing, and there's no point in being even remotely concerned about them.

    Good point even though I know no one named Steve...

    Walter is a dog while Walter(S2) is a person. Dog and person are different and I would think it would be okay to have the same name.

    Walt the old man could be short for Walter but we only knew him as Walt therefore not the same name.

    Still I know its unlikely to be the same person but I'm just trying to point out the fact that it is a possibility.
