Could ****** be Carver's doctor?
Vernon has been thought dead since 400 DAYS, but you'll notice the other cancer survivors simply referred to him as being "lost". If Kenny's survival showed us anything, it's that "lost" is one of Telltale's favourite words.
So, if we're to assume Vernon is still alive somehow, could he have been recruited to Carver's party at an earlier date as the camp's "official" physician? Carver's compound could easily be used to tie up a number of loose threads left over from season 1, including Lilly as the resident jailer/executioner.

So is 'soon'.
Don't forget about "soon" as a TellTale favorite. And if that bastard is alive, I won't be the one to try and stop Kenny from having his vengeance all Kratos-style.
I do think he is still alive, So your theory sounds possible to me. Also, Kenny swore to kill him if he ever saw him again so it definitely makes for a fun and good story.
If that's true i can see a really pissed Ken punching Vernon to death, also Vernon could tell Clem about the offer he made to Lee and what he said to him
Kenny: "Where's my boat, you bastard?"
Vernon: gulp
What if Telltale decides to completely Fuck up the Story and Add a Kratos Character? He will simply Chop up all the zombies and he will Always Yell like an army commander...Basicly Kratos is a god so he can just run around the globe killing all the walkers.
So yeah i guess Kratos Confirmed for Episodes 3-4-5
Zing! lol. No truer words were ever spoken.
Heh, for a second I thought you were going to talk about Carlos. Then the reason why Carver hates him is because he diagnosed him with erectile dysfunction, lawl.
I don't think he'll be in Carver's camp, unless he's been recruiting people from all around the nearby states into his group. (Which he probably has been, if Tavia's group is the same as his) The probability of him showing up there just seems low. But I do think there's a chance he might be alive, Telltale just loves to use intentionally ambiguous words.
If he really is with Carver though, Kenny's gonna have a field day.
I really think that we will see again Vernon
btw
how many people has the camp ... what do you guys think ?
Lilly... and now Vernon would be at the same camp? Kenny will flip his shit!
I thought this thread was going to be about Carlos, but I hadn't considered that Vernon could be the doctor at Carver's community. Would be a huge coincidence if Kenny and Vernon ended up in the same place, but I'd love to mount up for some revenge in honor of Lee and the stolen boat.
Why would you assume characters who disappeared from the story would be with Carver's group? Realistically, Lilly doesn't exist anymore because of the failed tie-in with the comics and Vernon is an old man who was lost, which could still very well mean dead. Even if he were alive, why would he be with Carver? I always assumed Carlos to be the doctor of Carver's group, which was why he seemed to have had the previous authority to stand up to and develop a rivalry with Carver himself.
Lol. It's been a while since I've heard 'zing' before.
The only way I can think that Vernon is alive is that he betrayed his own group and took the boat himself which imo is highly unlikely. Besides I don't think they even made it to the water with that boat, because then Clive, Boyd and Joyce would have ended somewhere else I think.
Why would you assume they wouldn't?
I chose the "Walk away, Vernon" option. I wonder how she'll react to my outburst.
it would be cool to also see the other 400 days characters and itd be awesome if wed also see llilly or christa but good prediction about vernon though
And that's how Carlos got his medical license's!
"Good one."
Because the statistical likelihood of not only one character finding their way to his group but two is very, very small. Especially since one was all the way back in Macon. It's logical to assume that the least likely option is what is going to happen, especially since both Lilly and Vernon's presence would be incredibly forced. Why would you want to try and force every character who didn't die on screen into season 2? Why would you think that's even a possibility when there are so many other possibilities for the characters that make more sense, the foremost being that they're dead.
I read somewhere that they changed it (for the games sake) that Lily in the book, and Lily from the game are two different Lily's. That's just what I've read - I have no clue how much that screws with the writing or anything, BUT, if they did go out of their way to say that, I feel like we're going to have another run-in with Lily.
....Sadly.
"Clem don't let him hurt me!! I tried to save you!!!!"
Yeah right, Vernon asking to take Clem was just a fluke to distract them from the boat, just like Lee said. Vernon is a coward. The difference between him taking the boat and Lee taking the stationwagon food is that Vernon knew there were people needing that boat while Lee thought the food was abandoned.
Vernon is getting his if I end up seeing him.
