If Telltale allowed you to guarantee the survival of ONE character all the way through season 2...

  • Kenny. Just Kenny.

  • Kenny or Christa. I know it's what everyone's been saying, but the hype for Kenny's return was so huge that it'd be just exhausting to kill him off again after all this. And Christa... I love Christa. We don't think of this, really, but she took care of Clem longer than Lee did. She was an empty shell without Omid and without her child, but she did it, she kept on going for Clementine, and I hope that their separation hasn't caused her to give up, because she needs to keep going for herself, too. She's a wonderful character and I want to see her happy again.

  • We still don't know what happened to Christa, although if she does show up she'd definitely be injured. Either via being stabbed in the leg or shot (possibly in the leg so that they wouldn't need to change much).

Kenny. Hes the only original (S1, E1) character left, hes gotta make it all the way through.

  • Definitely Kenny, I can't lose him again

  • I´d prefer question about who I want to die. :D And I would say BONNIE! I know that TTG will present her in other light in episode 3 (maybe she will become Clementine´s friend (I hope not)) but I just don´t like her.

  • I would say the Alvin, cause that's the one person you will least exept.

  • the juicebox

  • Balconi

  • Yeah. His status is unknown right now. We don't know if hes dead or alive. I gave him water though so I hope that means something later on because when Pete asked for water I face palmed.

No he isn't, that's Vince. Victor is the dying man the Clem could offer water to in Episode 1.

  • That would be Christa really since she is just closer to me than Kenny. And about new group - well they havent really impressed me yet with anything positive so its hard to care about them compare to strong season 1 characters.

  • Other then Clem? Christa.

  • Luke or Nick

  • Agreed, because Clem was with Christa for nearly 2 years, but us seeing only about 20 minutes of that because of the skip really undermines the fact that Christa kept her safe for so long, and through such turmoil.

The answers in this thread justify my distaste for the 16 month time skip....

  • My favorite character this season is Nick, but I'm going with Christa. She kept Clem safe for nearly 2 years, even after Omid's death. Long live Christa.

  • Couldn't have said it better myself. Because of the shit Clem and Christa obviously and inevitably must have gone through 90 percent of the answers should be Christa but because we didn't actually see any of it the entire 16 months with her is rendered null and void. Like she didn't save her life many, many times, teach her how to fend for herself, guard her and keep her safe for that long period even though Clem nearly directly caused the death of Omid and indirectly the death of her child (probably). We should be groveling at this woman's feet.

  • Then consider the time skip from the end of season 1 to the first time we see Omid and Christa. She appeared to be nearing the end of her pregnancy, meaning that it was already months later before the time skip.

  • Kenny of course.

  • Luke, gotta love his laid back attitude.

  • I SMELL A POSTSEASON DLC

Id like to see the autistic mexican girl survive. I forget her name at the moment.

  • If she's still alive, Christa. If not, Kenny.

  • Christa or Luke, preferably both. I know it's HIGHLY unlikely one or both will survive but I trust (and like) them the most with Clementine

  • I hope not. Those 16 months sound pretty fucking miserable, even by TWD standards. Clem's shellshocked 1,000 yard stare is a pretty good indication that it wasn't terribly fun at the very least.

  • Oh man. That's tough. I'm gonna go with Luke. I just really want to see him and Clem survive the apocalypse together and be mutually dependent on one another while still having a brother/sister relationship. I want Clem to be able to take care of herself, but I want her to be with someone, but I want her to be treated as an equal by that person. Ya feel me?

And I dunno, I'm gonna be really bummed if/when Luke dies. Like I feel like I'll be emotionally prepared if/when Kenny and Christa (who I love just as much), since we've had our time with them, but not Luke.

  • Its a hole in the story line thats ripe for that type of thing, though. Get folks to spend another 5 bucks.

  • Nick or Luke... or Kenny... one of them...

  • Interesting character. Hes a bandit and it would be awesome if a bad guy could live through a whole season. Sure hes a really odd choice but then why do people like Nate?.... One of my favorite characters named Pete didn't get water because of him. I made a decision to help him out and I honestly hope it actually affects something. I also hope that if I see him again he tells me what happened to Christa.

    Well that's a tough choi-Kenny.

  • True. That time jump didn't upset me much, at least not in the capacity the 16 month one did. I just feel after Christa cared for Clem even after her stupid mistakes for that long there is very little given to her character for such an integral and vital role she played. But that pretty much sums up my rant :p

  • Well if they made kenny live throughout season 2 telltale might be assholes and kill him off at the begging of season 3 just like omid

  • Well, lets put it this way: Killing off last character that has been there since very the begining = restart of the series pretty much. And that of course applies to tv show and comics as well simply because big portion of players will feel detachment from the whole story.

  • Surprise, surprise... Kenny.

  • Nate gets a lot of love because he had an awesome and very likeable personality. Victor had no personality besides being a bandit. He's basically an extra.
