Luke voters don't count because all of their opinions are demonstrably based on purely emotional responses whereas superior Kenny fans are rooted in the bedrock earthblood of steel-hearted pragmatism, tempered by a sense of mission.
If you disagree with this that's super and you're wrong.
SaltLick305 didn't make any points germane to the argument.
He just said a word he probably thought meant "stupid" which instead meant unimaginative which has no bearing on a claim's accuracy or validity when discussing morality or judgment.
You didn't care however, you just saw a post that tried to be mean to me and though "Good Points!"
Yeah, it'll probably be like Episode Three of the last season where they lost half of the group but gained a few others. Also, Clementine in… more the episode four slide... I hope she doesn't turn into a psychopathy because that blood/warpaint she's rubbing on her face seems like some pretty scary shit...

Are you serious? I thought we got through the whole "Luke is a pedophile" phase. He's not a pedo. If he was, that would be bad storytelling and would be a waste of the whole brother/sister relationship's potential.
I see them as having a brother and sister relationship but you never know with telltale. I would like to think that Luke isn't one but there is always the possibility, sadly.
Are you serious? I thought we got through the whole "Luke is a pedophile" phase. He's not a pedo. If he was, that would be bad storytelling and would be a waste of the whole brother/sister relationship's potential.
If there is any chance someone from telltale is reading this... If you kill off Clementine, you better watch your ass.
I would like to think that Clem will last forever but you really never know with telltale. My best guess of the next death though is probably Sarah or Rebecca.
I hope that TellTale staff do their best in the remaining episodes...
But tell me,what do you expect to happen in those? My guess is something dramatic.
There is no possibility. Maybe in the fucked up comics written by Robert Kirkman, but not in the masterpiece that Telltale writes. Luke being a pedo would not only be a waste of a perfectly good character, but it would put a lot of people off the game.

I can't really understand your rather sub-par point of view. also, using a copious amount of sophisticated words does not make you intelligent.
your main problem here is the root of your theory, which is that those who do not support Kenny are basing their opinions purely on emotion, whereas Kenny supporters are rooted in pragmatism and sense of mission. however, could it not be argued that all core decisions in this game are based on an emotional connection? is the purpose of the game not to evoke an emotional response? could it not be stated that you, who value Kenny over Luke, are no less emotional than those you look down on, and therefore have no grounding in your disdain upon those who are in your opinion inferior to you? Could it not be said that rather than disdain them based on inferior choices, you disdain them because you find their choices to be different from yours, and as you believe yourself to be a superior individual, any choices that are not yours automatically become inferior? it seems then, that the basis for your entire argument is your belief that you are perfect, an opinion which I believe is shared by no one except yourself.

Neither of them. Kenny is the devil we know, Luke the devil we don't. Luke sure is nice and friendly, just like those St. John folks. At least Nick and Clem went through a trial by fire.
Only folks my Clem trusts in the new group are Nick and Sarah.
Don't worry. Robert Kirkman doesn't really intend to do so and if it just so happens that he does, then it won't be anytime soon. I can assure you that.
I speak truth, That's different. I came here and told you to your face you're a douchebag that underestimates people and insults those who share a different opinion. All your points are based on personal attacks and false equivalences and you're not even worth arguing with.

You're conflating audience response with creator design.
An audience is often manipulated into having emotional responses that lead them astray, so when the hammer falls in the narrative there's shock, exhilaration, betrayal, horror, anger, what have you.
Consider the events surrounding Sam. You're lead to experience feelings of trust, care, companionship. They're all dashed.
With Luke you can be lead superficially to make arguments in support of the character, but on closer examination they fall apart. This new group of people constantly lie, obfuscate, make you do things you shouldn't, and so on.
The smaller, self-contained narrative with Sam, I believe, serves as an allegory to the broader narrative regarding Luke and the new group: They're untrustworthy shits who suck huge donkey balls and will stab you in the back for old beans and you should probably put more faith in the PTSD redneck who'll have your back if you have his.
Because if you don't do that, you're just being successfully duped by TTG despite their providing thematic and narrative hints of your being manipulated.

You've still not offered anything to have an argument over regarding the topic, SaltLick305.
Absolutely nothing.
All you've shown is that you have a very inflated sense of your ability to either intimidate or infuriate, no doubt due to spending too long here at the forum where you think upvotes and downvotes actually give you magical powers.
Sorry, guy.
If at any time you want to have a conversation where you want to argue the points I can humiliate you in that arena too, but in the meantime I'm going to continue having this pleasant conversation with Thewalkingcommenter, who's infinitely a better poster than you.

Kenny... He is return... and done, nothing else.
And Clem at the table:
What's the … moredeal with your friend
"I trust him" (if you sat with Luke)
What's the deal with the kid?
"I like him, he is a good guy" (if you sat with Kenny)
Yes, yes Kenny was in season 1, but what? They never talked each other, they never hugged each other etc. So the Walking Dead player like Kenny, not Clem. This is my option. This is the truth.
Give me dislike, i don't care.

He's put Clem's life in danger on the bridge. He's sent her up a dangerous slippery metal tower in a thunderstorm. He has her take point in negotiations with an unknown man holding a rifle while standing behind her. He repeatedly tried to get as much information about her and her background as he can. All the anecdotal accounts of him paint him as irresponsible or flighty. He's burdened her with responsibilities regarding other people. He enlisted her aid in covering up a murder and he mysteriously abandoned the group at the end of the second episode.
Luke isn't demonstrating care. He's practically stress testing an 11 year old girl to see what her capabilities are.

Not to mention the Cabin Group are keeping secrets amongst themselves, as shown when Carlos and Alvin don't know that the baby could be Carver's, and I knew something was up with their past when Clementine asked a legitimate question and he tried to reverse it with awkward silence and then "What's the most important thing in this world?"
Yeah Kenny is rough around the edges but we actually KNOW him, unlike the Cabin Group. (Besides Nick, we got a bit of his past in EP2 which I enjoyed.)
Genuinely cares?

You're quickly losing your ability to spell, use punctuation, use proper grammar, or burn. You're even tossing out go-to phrases like "personal attacks" and "sarcasm" when I've only obliquely used the former and almost never the latter.
How many more times are you going to say you're leaving the conversation before you actually do? It's getting sad, SaltLick305, as sad as the unqualified declarations of "I WON SO NYAH I FEEL GOOD PLEASE BELIEVE ME!!!". Either get to making an argument regarding Luke and Kenny or make good on leaving with a shred of dignity, because I've got an actual conversation going on with Thewalkingcommenter, a not-terrible poster.

he didn't intentionally put her life in danger. It would have been smarter to take an adult instead, but unless he planned to fall through the bridge that part wasn't planned. I agree that he made her take point in negotiating, but he also did his share of talking. he said the first sentence, and then Clementine said 1 or 2 things, and then Nick showed up. Luke was right next to her ready to back her up that whole time. as for trying to get her background information, that's generally what people do when they make conversation. It seems logical he would have told everyone to watch out for nick, and not just Clementine. He only enlisted her aid in the murder cover up because she had the knife. if Alvin had it he would have told Alvin to go get it. he didn't know what Walter would do, and he was attempting to keep his group safe. I can't say where he went at the end of episode 2, but all your other points are easily explained.

That's just it, all the things you listed happened because they constantly want Clementine's help in everything they don't want to do themselves, things that should be done by people older than 11. And in return Clementine can't even have a proper response about Carver and the group's past with him. Who is he? What was life like in his camp? What did he do to them? What did they do to him? Why did they leave Why is he following them?
It's either bad writing or they have just a bad character.

Kenny. Like I said before in my previous post, Kenny is the only person I can kinda trust at the moment, and in S1EP5 my Lee asked for Kenny to look after her, so therefore I feel Kenny has more responsibility than Luke to look after her.
I bet yo enjoyed it didn't you ? Proof that an Argument between a smart guy making good points and a biased dude insulting others for having a different opinion can still be fun these days.
People automatically hate you now when you tell the truth to their faces, Being honest used to be one of man's most important traits.
I think that's, what, three, four declarations that he's left?
Tell me, SaltLick305, what makes you feel the smallest that you keep having to crawl back to me?
The sense of emptiness when you realize upvotes don't soothe your wounded pride? That Thewalkingcommenter is a better poster than you are? Those tinny, hollow declarations of victory you feel that if you just said it one more time you'll start to maybe believe it?
Are those the fears you have that preclude you from even beginning an actual argument here?
If so, they're kind of valid. You probably made the right call by not even trying.

Alvin: "Hey young girl we've known for about a week, can you be an accomplice for me hoarding food from the group?"

He only enlisted her aid in the murder cover up because she had the knife. if Alvin had it he would have told Alvin to go get it. he didn't know what Walter would do, and he was attempting to keep his group safe. I can't say where he went at the end of episode 2, but all your other points are easily explained.
all this from a Kenny fan.
Me watching this arguement:
Lets just hug and love each others guys!
