I think the majority of us are less "fans" of each other and more just friends... For example, I consider Saltlick a pal, someone I get along with. I'm by no means his fan.
You know how I know you're mad?
You're still here after saying you were going to leave half-a-dozen times.
You know how I know you kno… morew I'm a better poster than you?
You're adopting my phrasing.
Even that "spot the anger" line? I used that on you in a previous thread that was deleted.
Now that it looks like you're my #1 fan...I guess all of your fans by proxy are mine too!
Isn't if funny how he is so hungry for a Luke/Kenny argument when the reason this argument started was him dismissing any opinion supporting Luke ? He lost it.
I never called people retarded. I claimed that a fanclub had gone retarded, not that the individuals within the fanclub are inherently, genetically retarded.
That would be ableist. And rude!
But Luke is not a nice guy, nor is he necessarily a good person, for reasons I listed above. Taking into account the thematic and narrative trappings around the events so far, I think it's fair to say Luke is bad news.
If you agree, then you agree and we're in agreement and we're both right.
Calling people retarded is not truth, it's fucking rude.
We're both going to say that we "won", so instead, let's let the general public … moredecide who "won". I'm fairly confident that they'll agree with me.
I won't be able to give you good examples because I don't believe that Luke would be a better guardian. What I will say is that I get where Luke Fans are coming from. He's a nice guy, a good person. He's a good survivor too. Those are things that people can observe, and if you don't believe it, then that's your opinion, just as it's their opinion that Luke is better than Kenny. You can't prove either one because they're opinions, and neither is "better" than the other. It's perfectly reasonable.
You've reached a point where you literally have no conception of an argument, SaltLick305. "Hey guys is funny how he wants a Luke/Kenny argument in a Luke/Kenny thread where he made argument about Luke and Kenny? huhuhuh"
Saltlick doesn't do that other places, and I like him. I think he's a good person, regardless of whatever "forum ethics" or "rules" that you're going off of, I simply think that he is a better person than you. In my theory threads both of us have been able to look at either side of an argument, and see it from another person's point of view(something you seem to be incapable of), and he's a nice guy when legitimately debating someone on a point. most of the time. So yeah, I think he's a good poster. Hey may do one thing that I don't like in this one place, but why does that have to mean that I think he's a bad poster and my judgement is clouded if I think anything other than that?
First off, you're objectively incorrect. SaltLick305 is a bad poster. In fact he's done something you "hate" repeatedly throughout his posti… moreng in addition to doing something you find "lame". That you simultaneously defend him as a "great poster" is evidence of motivated reasoning: You want to make me mad as I made you mad by saying he's better than me while proving he's not.
It's too late. You've already established you think SaltLick305 isn't a great poster with your predicates. If you don't recognize it it's because your judgment is clouded. Either that or you're not arguing in good faith. Each makes your arguments suspect.
If at any time you want to talk about the topic of this thread and stop trying to derail it as SaltLick305 has aggressively tried to do for the last few hours (I'm sure you hate that too) you're free to offer something up.
LemonCakes went on a RAMPAGE after everyone told him he was delusional asshole.
That many people can't be wrong, Nothing you post make se… morense and you're extremely biased when replying to someone.
What else can I expect from a guy that openly said an opinion different to his is irrelevant ?
but that is exactly what is going to happen . . .I mean telltale literally could not set it up any more obviously. Sarita (spelling? / pronunciation ?) will die- that is a guarantee- by the end of the season.
Although i sat with luke, im more inclined now towards kenny, as long as he doesn't loose it and go all physco (Especially if Katjaa 2.0 dies)
Even then, We still don't know enough about luke..HARD CHOICE
Kenny was willing to go against everyone in the initial group in S1 for the decisions that he believed were to be the right ones, so your assumption is flawed, the truth is that neither of us know for sure how he would react initially, but at least im basing my assumption on how Kenny actually behaved in S1.
Luke didn't want to lock Clementine in the shed. The group did. Kenny wouldn't want to lock Clementine in the shed if he didn't know her, bu… moret if his group demands that or a worse alternative. What do you think he's going to pick? Kenny can be impulsive, but he wouldn't turn against his whole group for a girl that he didn't even know and who was bit. Especially if you're being hunted down by a ruthless tyrant by the name of Carver. Bonnie was scouting ahead for Carver and we didn't even know it. The group probably thought that Clementine was scouting ahead for Carver. Carver seems to be known for sending scouts around.
At least Ten other people didn't come in here and tell me that unlike.... You ? Everyone knows it Lemon, You're a Troll incapable of having a real argument.
No, if I disagree with you, which I do, then that means I have a different opinion, not that I'm wrong. Luke has been nice to Clem, and he seems to be a good guy. We can't look into the future, so right now, that's all we've got to go with. Everyone in the group was sorry about locking Clem up, even Rebecca. Luke didn't go against the group, that's true, but I don't really blame him for that because he was sorry, he didn't want to in the first place, and he did save Clem, something that neither Nick or Rebecca, or maybe even Carlos, would have done.
Stop trying to prove other's opinion as true or false. It's one of the things that I hate most on the internet.
Also, you did call someone a retard. Right near the beginning of when all this started, you said this to Juice Box:
"Why, are you retarded? Let me know if you are and how, I'll tailor my posts so you'll better understand them."
No matter what, it's rude. And still, even just insulting a group of people, or the school of thought they belong to, is incredibly rude. Stop trying to justify your insults.
I never called people retarded. I claimed that a fanclub had gone retarded, not that the individuals within the fanclub are inherently, gene… moretically retarded.
That would be ableist. And rude!
But Luke is not a nice guy, nor is he necessarily a good person, for reasons I listed above. Taking into account the thematic and narrative trappings around the events so far, I think it's fair to say Luke is bad news.

If not, you're wrong.
Oh he may be a good person in real life, I don't feign to know him just as you shouldn't feign to know me. Doing so would be incredibly judgmental and a terribly premature mistake.
But he's a reaaaaally bad poster. Childish, churlish, a tantrum thrower that's awful in almost every respect when his fragile ego's wounded.
I can easily look at the other side of an argument: It's how I know it's objectively wrong and stems from some sort of warped perspective rooted in a lack of reasoning or proper assessment.
In regard to your judgment clouded, that's something you've demonstrated. You gave examples of things you hate or think are lame. You say SaltLick305 is a "great" poster. SaltLick305 did things you hate and are lame repeatedly in this thread. He did so out of anger and frustration at being unable to bully me into any sort of submission, which I understand, but it's pretty damning evidence alongside your anger toward me that your emotions play an inordinate role in your reasoning.
Saltlick doesn't do that other places, and I like him. I'd save Luke, provided the choice came up in Episode 4 or 5. Kenny, if it came up in Episode 3.
My reasoning isn't that I like Luke more. The opposite, in fact, as if it were a competition between which character I like/trust more, I would easily pick Kenny every time. The thing is, though, that we've already seen quite a bit of Kenny. He was in every Episode of Season 1, had a cameo in 400 Days, and it looks as if he'll be with us for most of Season 2 as well. I like that, I really do, but that is, in my opinion, enough time in the spotlight for any character. We've only just met Luke (from a story standpoint) and I'd really like to get to know more about him. He hasn't had nearly as much focus series wide as Kenny has.
The addendum, that the choice must be in Episode 4 or 5 is because I feel Episode 3 is too early for Kenny to be killed off. We've only just reconnected with him, and having him die almost immediately after reintroducing him would be something I couldn't stand. There's a lot of things going on with him which I'm as interested in as I am learning more about Luke. I want more time to spend with Kenny before they kill him again, this time for real.
At least Ten other people didn't come in here and tell me that unlike.... You ? Everyone knows it Lemon, You're a Troll incapable of having a real argument.
Not even in real life, just other places on the forum. He may do things I don't like here, but he's a good poster anywhere else I've seen him. You've gotten a lot of people quite worked up about this whole thing, I'm not blaming him too much. A similar situation happened elsewhere where I was bordering on insulting this guy and Saltlick told me what I was doing, so I went back and apologized, agreeing to disagree with the other person. Yeah, I think he's a good poster, and you're judging his posting "skills" just by here.
I fact, let's try to move away from saying good poster or bad poster. What are the rules or logic that you're going by to determine this? I'm just going to say that Saltlick is a good guy. Let's leave it at that, I'd rather not argue about Saltlick anymore because now you know my stance, and I know yours. I don't think either of our opinions can be swayed.
As for you looking at the other side of an argument. you did not prove it wrong. What you brought up are either predictions, or your opinion of the character. You can't distinguish your own opinion from a fact, and you've got zero respect for anyone's opinion that you don't agree with, as you've shown repeatedly. Please, learn to accept that people have different opinions. You can't prove them wrong, they are just as valid as yours. They think Luke is a nice guy. You don't. you say that you've proved them wrong with the shed thing. Guess what, that's your opinion still. Luke clearly didn't want to go along with it, but yeah, he did. you can view that two ways, at heart, he's a good guy, or he'll go along with what his group says and he isn't a good guy. Either way, you can't prove one opinion is false and the other is true.
Oh he may be a good person in real life, I don't feign to know him just as you shouldn't feign to know me. Doing so would be incredibly judg… moremental and a terribly premature mistake.
But he's a reaaaaally bad poster. Childish, churlish, a tantrum thrower that's awful in almost every respect when his fragile ego's wounded.

I wouldn't stay here If I was you a couple of people we know can't handle losing an argument and I know you're a smart guy. See you later.

I'm from planet Earth, where most people can respect another's opinion. Not everyone in one side of an argument or debate is wrong, in fact, that is rarely the case. Usually, both sides can make good points and support their opinions so that they can become credible opinions. But still, unless we're talking about science, neither side is right most of the time. It just depends on which side garners more support, or even just having a good, healthy back and forth so that they can learn from each other.
A debate about which character in a story is better is an opinion based on, facts are not involved. Please, please, just learn this, because it is what is at the heart of this new argument, you're inability to accept or even consider the opinion of other people when it contradicts your own.
This was definitely fun. None of your posts made a bit of sense but we still wasted the whole day on this.
9% Battery thanks to your brilliant points LemonCakes...
Heated arguments are the best.
You're up there... Right behind Me, Zyphon, and just about everyone else but Yeah you're definitely on the list I'll give you that.
Look, I've got about 5 minutes till my phone turns off use that time to redeem yourself and tell me how superior Iam. I take it this was the best day ever for you just getting to talk to me for so long.

Are you implying the worst poster ever is LemonCakes ? If so... YAY he finally said something that that didn't instantaneously make me shake my head in disbelief.
No offense but i dont feel like replying to your every damn comment on explaining the scenes from the game, if you're that much curious about it you could always go back and play it. But since you insist on it: "I could give two shits about what Lilly wants" and "You like to think you're the leader of this group, but we can make our own goddamn decisions" are just some examples that shows that he isnt afraid to go against the group.
Really? That sounds like a poor excuse of "I couldn't find any solid evidence so I'm going to pretend not to care." Actually, you just proved my point. Kenny hated Lilly for trying to be the leader of the group. He believed in a democracy. Carlos wanted to put Clementine in the shed. Nick and Rebecca wanted to kill her, but settled for the shed idea. Alvin and Pete were okay with it to an extent. Luke was the only one to constantly oppose this idea. Kenny would actually let them put Clem in the shed if he didn't know her since he hates for one person to dictate a course of action. If Kenny was in Luke's shoes, as long as the group settled on that idea, he would probably be in the "okay with it to an extent" column and since the group didn't really have a problem with it (except for Luke, but this is a scenario where Kenny replaces Luke so that means no one opposes the shed idea) then Kenny would comply.

Still rude, still insulting. I'm not going to push the point, we all know you're an asshole.
We clearly have a difference of opinion, honestly, I'm done with this. I'd do my whole, "let's just respect each others opinions", but I fear that you'd try to find some way to "prove me wrong". So let's part ways hating each other, it seems that people do that a lot with you.
Saying "sorry" or being sorry doesn't really clean the slate for me when it comes to imprisonment and attempted manslaughter, as it shouldn'… moret.
Additionally you literally quoted me saying that I called someone a retard when in the very quote you quoted saying I did...I didn't.
I asked if he was retarded, because he took exception to the use of the word in regards to Luke, who's a bit mentally slow, let's be honest.

I mean I didn't know you were this bad at posting...
All of these arguments because of two fictional characters. lol

Are you implying the worst poster ever is LemonCakes ? If so... YAY he finally said something that that didn't instantaneously make me shake my head in disbelief.
Kenny. I don't need him to take care of Clementine, she can take care of herself.
He needs her. And she'll be there for him.
"We don't leave friends behind!"- Clementine
