Season Finale Reactions [*Major Spoilers*]
Well heres what i thought of the season finale and after you can post what you thought about the episode.
The only thing i really didn't like about the episode was that nothing really happened during the first 40Min of the episode. The beginning with Joes gang was interesting but after that nothing until rick and his crew reached Terminus. Then they built up the whole episode only for rick to say "Their screwing with the wrong people" It left more questions than answers and didn't feel like a season finale but a regular episode. If i had to give the episode a rating i would give it a D+.
Give your opinion about the episode and don't hold back if you agree or dont with me just say w/e you want.

My Reaction? "Are you fucking kidding me?"
This isn't a season finale, this is a trailer for Season 5.
holy heck do I disagree I give it an A+ it was the best episode of the show ever I think. Rick was awesome in this episode biting joes throat and he even approached terminus the right way by scouting. Rick the the group are gonna destroy those cannibals. I bet they find beth's mutilated corpse and tyreese and carol aren't there yet so I think they will rescue them
EDIT: gotta agree with people I was a little upset with the cliffhanger still loved it though
It was good but not good enough.
... Seriously? They don't notice that the people are missing on purpose? And no one died ....
I thought it was a good episode, but it wasn't a finale. Like the end of season 3, we're gonna have to wait until next season to get the real finale.
Yeah, that was a bit of a let down. A good episode, but I definitely expected way more 'shit to hit the fan' and more stuff and thaaangs to happen.
It seems like all of the hype I had just kinda' vanished after Ricks's line: "Their screwing with the wrong people" and the scene ended.
It was bit disappointing considering how much they hyped it up on Facebook saying "Who will survive?" every 2 hours.
Who will survive? apparently everybody...
whatcha talking about the unnamed cannibal didn't survive :P and the guy who got his face chewed
Well, walkers died.
And.. yeah, that's about it except for that guy that got shot by that sniper and Joe.
Great season finale, right?
See above
You know what I mean, lol. The main characters!
Flashbacks....nooooooo! It was nice to see Herschel again, but I just wanted the episode to move forward more & the flashbacks ate up time that could have been better used. One FB would have been enought to get the point across.
There was that guy who screamed for help too.
I think he and everyone else was expecting more of the main characters to die, not the recently introduced characters.
Ah, yes.
The ugh... Mr. uughh... the guy who... yeah, him.
hey they were main character :O but seriously ya i understand that was kinda disappointing but i still thought the episode was awesome
i thought it was good, but I feel all the hype building up to it was for nothing, the flashbacks were pretty much a waste of time and nothing happened in this episode except for rick's group arriving at terminus and finding glenn's group. to me it felt like they wasted a lot of time and it was pretty much just a buildup for season 5.
i think the flashbacks were to show the difference between them in a safe haven and on the road
In terms of main characters that died, I'd say that it was just Joe. Was there someone else?
none that i can think of i know it didn't happen tonight but i think we can assume beth is cannibal meat now
Yeah, "Bad-Luck Beth", maybe?
i hope season 5 has a time skip because Carl is growing like a weed lol
They did notice, they even commented on it while walking into the candle room.
Who did they say died in the candle room?
Never mind i read a previous comment wrong. My bad
I liked the episode it was better than Season 3's finale that is for sure. Joe's group went pretty quickly not surprised considering the comics and wow it was nice seeing Rick go crazy and kinda attractive.....uheh what? Anyways I liked the developments between Rick and Daryl and especially Michonne and Carl. I just wish Michonne went more in detail about her son but anywho smart of rick to leave that bag of guns buried behind the fances smart move. I knew Terminus was a trap . I liked how no one died but I was sad that we didn't get a glimpse of Carol , Tyreese , Judith or Beth (not flashback). Speaking of the flashbacks I liked them but I think they could've been placed in either Episode 9 or 11 instead of right here and now. It also bothers me about the flashbacks that not only did it focus on Hershel but on Beth somewhat too eeehhhhh Beth Burgers anyone? LOL. I am overall pleased with it but hope there won't be a timeskip it wouldn't make sense not right away given the situation but they haven't even started filming yet. I believe late April or early May they will it'd be weird to see Carl grow more and for Rick and the others to no longer have their winter clothes on but as for Rick he can take it all off I don't mind . I think they might timeskip after Terminus though like 2 or 3 episodes into Season 5 since it is nearing winter in the show and they'll be filming in the summer it'll seem a bit weird otherwise. I just don't want them to skip over them being chased on the road by the cannibals or being on the road to Washington because it could be pretty interesting considering most everyone is back together now. Anyways again I liked the episode Rick's final line left me a little "meh" though.
Honestly these are the most boring chapters in the comic book and compared to the cannibals in the comic the tv show cannibals seem a lot better and more thought out. I thought it was an amazing episode. I was expecting the ending would suck even more if they solved everything.
I didn't expect the group that Daryl was with to die off so fast they were interesting characters.
I know you all complaining about hype for the episode wont agree with this but I would not pay attention to hype its just advertisement to make more money. You see places saying "This is thee best ice cream in the world!" That doesn't mean its the best.
When they say "who will survive?" It does not mean main characters will die and there was lots of death this episode from antagonist death. I thought they would of milked the group Daryl was with.
Compared to the comic the tv show did a swell job. There wasn't much to work with.
It was a solid episode. However nothing "really" happened and Terminus was pretty predictable. I do wish there was a bit more closure, and only because there are SIX MONTHS in between episodes. I enjoyed it a lot though. Good action sequence leading the team through Terminus. Not sure how much ill remember six months from now but. . . until then.
Episode was good, very intense but oh boy that was a really really poor cliffhanger
cue intense music
My reaction
Rick: they're gonna feel pretty stupid when they find out
Abraham: Find out what?
MUSIC GETS SUPER MEGA INTENSE
My skin gets like
Rick: They're screwing with the wrong people.
My reaction
Come on man, i thought he had a crazy plan or made them a trap after the episode shows you that he is able to device traps. Maybe he did but we wont be able to see it until october.
They weren't trying to kill them. They were trying to lure them somewhere.
Omfg the flashbacks were amazing. They showed conversations between Hershel and Rick about the prison and Carl.
Can someone explain the watch? Why did Rick just put a gun to his head over a locket?
It is Hershel's. he gave it to Glenn in Season 2. He also recognized a lot of the objects that various people of the group had worn, like the body armor, the poncho, etc.
I actually loved the episode for the most part. I appreciated the flashbacks, as they helped to remind me of past events, included some humanity (I miss Herchel...) in an otherwise action packed ride, and aided the pacing in some parts. I should also mention that the scene with Joe's group (the Marauders) was incredible. Wow, was that ever intense! The only issue I experienced is that the ending was terribly predictable. I knew they were going to end it on that note, which was disappointing and anti-climatic.
At the very least, I was hoping for a plan by Rick that we were currently unaware of or didn't pick up, but all we got was the "They're screwing with the wrong people!" speech. Really? This line felt a tad corny, cliche, and a bit lazy in my opinion. The way I see it, Season 1-2's finales still prevail as the strongest.
Looks to me that they're going to milk this story line into Season 5. Oh well, at least it seems to be promising. I wonder who Gareth will be.
it wasn't just the watch it was the riot gear and poncho that made him realize what was going on
oh okay that makes sense now. Thanks!
Thanks makes a lot a sense now
Yeah it was a nice episode, I really liked what they did with the flashbacks. But the facebook hype and terrible ending disappointed me a bit. I saw the anti-climatic ending 5-10 mins away
I agree, the hype didn't live up to my expectations either. It's too bad really. I desperately wanted this one to make up for Season 3's ending, and for what the TV show did to Andrea... I glad that Michonne at least brought her up though.
Terminus part feels like a weaken A House Divided.
