I agree, the hype didn't live up to my expectations either. It's too bad really. I desperately wanted this one to make up for Season 3's ending, and for what the TV show did to Andrea... I glad that Michonne at least brought her up though.
Because of Andrea's comic counter part, I could never bring myself to hate her. Although I did come close to that. What AMC did to her character is something that I probably won't ever forgive them for. I hoped for redemption before she died, but then... You know.

I thought it was a great episode, although the ending was somewhat disappointing. But at least it gives fans of the show something to talk about until the next season starts.
It was alright, nothing really special. They hyped this episode up so much,i actually thought it would end with a bang. However this was a part 1 episode, not a season finale cliffhanger. They will milk this for what its worth, season five cannibals.
Thank god i wasn't the only one who thought rick final line was corny."They messed with the wrong people", episode ends.
Flashbacks wasted more time than they added to the story. A few would have been fine but it started to seem like they just ran out of budget and had to fill the time.
Terminus was way too predictable. Way way way too predictable. If someone were to have asked me before seeing this what the absolute least exciting cliffhanger they could possibly come up with was, I likely would have described something like what actually happened.
The rest of the episode was pretty good though. You know the other, like, ten minutes or so.
The Walking Dead TV show is the most overrated tv show in recent times. I don't particularly care for any of the characters anymore, and I am constantly wanting something to kill Carl. They even somehow made Michonne less interesting as the show as gone on.
And that last line!!! The scene was gearing up to Rick having this master plan, I was like oooooooh awesome. Then he said "they messed with the wrong people". . Cliffhanger in the Walking Dead Game Season1 Episode 4 had so much tension and drama and meaning that has been in the whole of season 4.
I thought it was great bar the ending , it wasnt finale material and the fact they hit none of them gunfire was dumb.
I was more bothered that only one character from the main group from last season died this season and that Carol,Tyreese, Judith are no where to be seen but especially that Beth's fate is not revealed...
If they knew then they would have ran another direction or hid somewhere. It was just really obvious that they were trying to lure them because they tried not to shoot them just the ground in front of them.
They did that scene pretty well, it was pretty horrific which I thought would be tough given how much older Carl is. Though why the bad guys just stood there and got killed I have no idea, bar Joe non of them even fought back
I enjoyed the episode it did have suspense especially when they enter Terminus. But I feel that Too Far Gone was a stronger episode as I was actually shivering from the suspense the moment the Governor chopped Hershel's head off all the way to the end of the battle. That one actually felt like a season finale despite being mid-season. Overall though, I enjoyed the finale, especially when Rick bit Joe's throat out and cutted the other fat bastard up.
They werent trying to kill them, they were leading them like sheep for slaughter. I did have a problem with how rick handled the situation. He should have played it more calmly. Taken notice of all his groups items and left or asked more questions

I got the impression that they were all shocked out how viciously Rick killed Joe. As for Joe, he got hit in the face which gave Rick some time to capitalize as he was stunned

Well, if they tried to run in a direction other than what the shooters intended, they would have been shot. Running through a hail of lead is really less healthy, in the long run, than going where they want you to and breaking out at a later time.

I hate when people say "nothing happened". Its not all about action. Does no one care about building character? We got some beautiful bonding moments with Rick, Michonne and Carl and some back story with Hershel explaining about Ricks frame of mind, how much he wanted to maintain some sense of normalcy for his son, and how he feels like he cant maintain that. He feels like he's becoming a monster and so do Carl and Michonne This show is about so much more than just violence and zombies.
This episode was fine. I wouldn't say theirs anything "bad" about the episode just that it was completely over-hyped for a season finale. Im sure you've seen the mid-season finale when Hershel gets killed then all hell breaks loose, everyone gets separated and the story divides into different character parts. i felt like once they reached Terminus the majority of the cast should have been killed except for Rick, Michonne, Daryl Glenn and maggie. These 5 should take a car and head for Washington which would have been mentioned by either Glenn or maggie. Pick up some new characters on the way.

I loved the episode. I have never seen so much complaining about a tv show like I have for TWD. Always people complaining, every episode, every season. Yeah constructive criticism is fine, but just bashing the show isn't.
I think the episode was great in the fact that it focused back on what it started with: Rick. And agreeing with most everyone else, the Terminus scene was pretty awesome.
And also, I think that Gareth guy is gonna be a really cool character.
Well, I am certainly glad the writers decided to go another way with it. Sorry, but your idea doesn't appeal to me at all. Seriously, you wanted Carl to get killed off? As a comic reader, I think they did a great job of recreating some of the most disturbing things from that point in the comics and setting up some great cliffhangers for next season. They bonded the group together physically and emotionally too so now we know it's going to be an all out us vs them with the cannibals. And what would you "overhype" but a season finale? Of course they're going to hype it up but if it doesn't meet your expectations of what you think should happen, they can't help that. They can only tell the story the way they need to.

They actually made me hate Andrea, honestly. Didn't really care for her anymore after all the stupid things she did.
How?

Oh okay, I understand. I have yet to read the comics, so yeah :P

It was decent I suppose.
Only problem is that we have to deal with that cliffhanger for the next 6 months

Well, at least they didn't cut Rick off mid sentence or something.

Must I agree that the mods will shut this down for not being related to the game?
Everybody loves TWD. Comics, Show, Games

Did Carl get raped by that one man?
If they knew then they would have ran another direction or hid somewhere. It was just really obvious that they were trying to lure them because they tried not to shoot them just the ground in front of them.
I did not get the impression that the man successfully raped Carl. It's certainly what he was attempting to do.
They did that scene pretty well, it was pretty horrific which I thought would be tough given how much older Carl is. Though why the bad guys just stood there and got killed I have no idea, bar Joe non of them even fought back
Methinks they're a bit more scared to kill off characters than they claim to be.
Overall though, I enjoyed the finale. Anything would have been better than season 3's finale. What a pile of shit that was.

When Rick Bited Joe i was shocked that was so badass!
rtu2d2 i recomend you to start watching the show.

I could imagine them coming back in walking dead, it being two days later (in walking dead time) and Carl is a foot taller with a mustache.
I loved the episode. I have never seen so much complaining about a tv show like I have for TWD. Always people complaining, every episode, every season. Yeah constructive criticism is fine, but just bashing the show isn't.
Whose watch was it anyway?
Glenns (formerly Hershels before he gave it to Glenn)

Thanks, then I realized all the things they had stolen from Glenn's group. Motherfuckers.
