Goofs/Continuity Errors
So while we're waiting for episode 3 - did you guys have any goofs/continuity errors that you spotted, or minor plot holes? There probably aren't many since it's a game but whatever. I'll start...with what happened on the 5 day walk to the cabin.
Disclaimer: This is not a place to rip on the game. It's merely a thread to post quirks/opinions on what you observed in the animation or plot while playing through.

As a note, these points don't mean I go through the game looking to nitpick. I thoroughly enjoy TWD, and I believe this world is strong enough to survive mining for goofs every now and then. You can enjoy something and still notice any inconsistencies.
*Before you meet Clem, the answering machine message implies the apocalypse began around Spring Break (so sometime in March?). But when you're getting the medicine in Crawford, the dates on the tapes and in the videos all but say the apocalypse began sometime in July. Retconning as a nod to fit when the first issue of TWD came out (Oct. 2003), or just oversight.
*In general, first graders are 6-7 years old. Unless Clem was held back, her age suggests she should have just finished third grade by the time the game started.
*Clem was bitten by a dog, something with an upper and lower jaw, yet she only had trauma to one side of her arm.
*The cabin group, who are obviously very worried that letting Clem go could mean she might return to Carver and report their location, decide to leave her unsupervised and unguarded the entire night. If they really thought she was a spy, they should have kept an eye on her.
*No matter what choices you make while babysitting Sarah, you will not have the option to speak to her for the rest of the episode. I would understand that if you decided to deflect blame to Sarah for the selfie, but showing her loyalty yet getting a cold shoulder?
*I get that since Clem is the protagonist, and writing convincing child characters is difficult enough, even when they aren't in the spotlight. And you know what, the fact that Clem can do all this doesn't bother me. She's a cute badass, and I respect that. I do wish that the other characters would make up their minds on how capable they believe Clem is, and stick with their judgments for more than a scene or two. Carlos' flip flopping actions towards Clem are my best example. I kept getting narrative whiplash throughout the episode. In season 1, I generally had an idea how characters would react towards me and my actions, but not as much with this new group.

I definitely agree with you on that last paragraph. For example: Carlos doesn't trust Clem to go bridge scouting with assistance because she's a "little girl", yet leaves her to shut down A WIND TURBINE singlehandedly on her word. He isn't exactly the brightest character, but the basic logic is lacking sometimes, it seems.
I think the wind turbine thing is actually not that big of a deal. It seems like if he had done it himself, or asked Clementine to keep watch, people would just be complaining about how stupid he was because he made a little girl do all the work protecting him, or some other thing about how he's incompetent. It's always something.
The actual cause of this kind of thing is the fact that the protagonist is a kid - in order to give the player an active role, other people have to be pushed out of the way. I guess that's just my opinion, though.
There is no way the rifle Nick used at the end of episode 1 could have that many shots.

Others do have to be sidelined to a certain extent to ensure Clem remains the focal point, but in this case, it ends up portraying Carlos as comically inept. See, the reason so many of us fault him so frequently is that his missteps/indecisions are much more glaring than those committed by other people, and for me, that partially disrupts the flow of the game. You have a very valid point, but I just don't see the value in ignoring the realism of supporting characters.

Holyshit, Nick Breckon really is lazy.
I at one point that when Carlos shot one of the Walkers that Clem failed to kill (ran out of ammo) he was holding a white gun (I'm not good at weapon names) but when Clem got into the lodge he was using that black one that you see most of the time. Again, I don't know my guns. But I noticed Carlos held a different one later on.

I can try to answer the Crawford query to the best of my ability, but from what I gathered, Crawford's internal "apocalypse" began in July when Anna rained gunfire down on everybody during the video journal Logan was recording. It's been a little bit since I've played the game, but the tapes also had "Day (insert number here)" written on them, indicating the length of time Crawford remained active. It was approximately three months before the community fell which was three months after the world itself fell. I always found that interesting because hypothetically Lee and the gang fled the motel around the same time Crawford collapsed. It could have easily happened mere days prior to their stealth-mode break-in.

When Carver tries to enter the cabin and he says something like "I've been cooking in the hot sun all day." And I was like ????? then take off your giant puffy winter coat, dumbass.
I know it was just his excuse for coming inside, but still.
People make fun of Carlos, but the writers are the real "geniuses". This is kinda sad, considering Carlos was supposed to be a smart character and now noone takes him seriously.
Yeah, Telltale really messed up with him. But at least they're changing some characters' personalities during the game's development, and it's probably for the best.
In Season 2 Clem has her backpack from Long Road Ahead, though she's never shown with it after that Episode. As if she, Omid and Christa went through a possibly swarmed train/mansion to get a backpack.
It snows later in the episode.
Carver is Season Impaired.
Got a goof of my own. In the pic below, you'll see that the doors are meant to be opened by pushing from the outside, but after everyone scurries inside, it only closes inwards. So how did Lee manage to get the doors open?
The white one would be a Beretta, the gun Kenny had during Episode 5 after finding the suicide couple, and the black one would be a Glock, like Carley had and that Lee used from Episode 3 onwards.
She went back to Macon while with Omid and Christa, so it's likely.
Nick originally died in S2E1 if you saved Pete. They fixed it pretty quickly, but for those of us that played the day of release, it was pretty humorous when they pulled it back in E2.
Just make him help Rebecca give birth and then heal someone's bullet wound and we can all pretend that little "fever" incident in the first episode never happened (I'm still not completely convinced dog bites are that easy to tell from human bites, specially if you've never seen any) or that he was actively trying to kill Clem, which, frankly, would be an improvement on the character.

Nick never died in the final build of the game, He ran away into the woods.
I just replayed Episode 2 and i saw that too, It's Clem's gun, I'm sure of it. Maybe Clem gave her gun to Carlos before she ran into the lodge.
It's pure common sense, It looks small from the distance so it could be big or still little.
Do technical issues count? Because right when the bridge scene loads up in "a house divided" Clementine is picking herself off the ground. Did she trip or something? :P
That's what I thought at first, too. But if you look closely there is a steel beam or something like that right behind her and they probably just had to crawl.
Also when Luke continued to walk on the dry-rotted wooden railroad tracks, literally 5 seconds after he fell through them and almost died. I was like !!!!! get on the metal part with Clem, you idiot.
And then he proceeded to say nothing to his entire group who also walked on the dry-rotten wooden railroad tracks, where Luke fell through literally 5 seconds ago. Where they definitely watched Luke fall through 5 seconds ago.
Why would she? It had no bullets left and Carlos had his own firearm already. Would make more sense of her to keep it for later usage.

Yep, me too. But I actually saw that coming from the second we saw him walking on these wooden bars.
I mean, this bridge hasn't seen any maintenance in over two years, steel beams have fallen off it. Why would you walk on wooden bars with nothing underneath? Sometimes I wonder how these people have survived this long.
The scene where you kill one of the 2 you can see that there wasn't anything that was blocking the entrance to the bridge.
SEASON 2: When you start Episode 2, it shows a small preview/recap of Episode 1 on the scene where you arrive at the river, The lighting seems brighter that it should and no background music is playing.
I hate this kind of videos. It's just so annoying to see someone make an effort to find fault in everything, specially when he criticizes things that aren't really wrong or when he claim something about the plot stinks just because he thinks so. Even in games and movies that truly suck, I get tired of this shit really quickly.
it's all just a joke video. It's not meant to be taken seriously. Trust me, they even say they love these games. They're just messing around for entertainment.
I get where the video is coming from. I can't believe I watched it all though... it seemed so much shorter than 41 minutes.
