well neither lee or clem were in the military, so i guess i couldn't role play a summary execution for her lapse in judgement. her breaking under the stress of the situation is understandable. for a civilian reasonable breakdowns aren't punishable by death, exile sure, but not death. so if she is still alive the more power to her, i probably would be on guard if i saw her again though.
good assessments, i'll have to play episode 2 again to see if i agree with you about danny. i don't blame carver for lee's death (though manipulating clem and kidnapping her isn't exactly a plus). i agree with you about carver, he might not be as bad as i think he is at this moment (though he can't ever be 'good' due to his actions thus far).
I was wondering what that unused line was. I heard there was something like that that heavily implied that Danny was a pedophile, but I never knew what the exact line was. Hella creepy.
Definitely Danny. As others have mentioned, he was bad all the way through. He definitely creeped me out worse than any other character in either season.
The stranger completely lost it. I doubt he was a bad guy before the apocalypse.
Andy was an asshole, but I felt kinda bad for him at the very end. I doubt his family was that crazy before the apocalypse either. (Well, maybe Danny was.)
Carver is definitely a creep too, but he's another one that the apocalypse brought out the worst in him. I think he started out with good intentions but they just got more and more twisted.
Michelle.

Yeah, I am still waiting for that torture simulator DLC for Michelle...
I really hated Michelle initially, just for what she did to Omid alone. But after a while, logic steps in and I have to say, she's just a brat with a superiority complex or some crap, and like Larry, it's easy to just dismiss her as a totally hatable character without considering the grey areas and other factors. I'd say that she did deserve to be killed off and ten times more, but do I think she's evil? Not really. I hate her, but I don't really think she's bad or evil, just immature and stupid.
The Apocalypse can bring out the worst out of people.
I wanna say Andy or Danny would be the most bad or evil characters in the game, but I think they're just mentally unstable in the cannibalistic sense. Someone evil by my book would have to be sane and choose to do savage inhumane things anyway, and with TWD, it's rare or impossible to find someone who's totally devoid of his humanity.
Everyone on this planet is a bad person, no one on this Earth can say they have never done anything wrong or acted in a way which has led to suffering, some people are just "more bad" than others (or in the cause of these characters way way way more)
Danny - just creeped me the hell out, stroking his gun like it was human...just weird. As for the others especially carver and the stranger i don't exactly think they're bad people but rather that they became bad through the apocalypse - i especially think Carver started out with good intentions but got a little....power hungry through time and started a dictator ship. That stranger was probably a nice guy until we stole his food and (i think because of that) his wife (and kid??) died - causing him to lose his mind. Andy i kinda-sorta felt a teensy bit sorry for in the end....sort of.
You know what's weird? In All That Remains, you're given the opportunity to have Clem explain to Luke at the dinner table that she ran away. It gave me a whole new perspective regarding the deeply felt guilt she experienced after Lee's death. The Stranger manipulated her into thinking that he was with her parents, yes, but she left on her own free will. The Stranger obviously didn't let her go once she found him and probably realized her mistake. Clem made it sound like she ran all the way to the Marsh House, but in her haste, did she really drop her hat and the walkie talkie? For all intents and purposes, it looked like a kidnapping in S1E4. But according to her, it wasn't. Regardless of her choice, she was still an innocent child whose hopes and wishes were being exploited by a creepy older man with a vendetta. All he needed was a Free Candy sign taped to his station wagon.....
You're right! More bad is two words! Oh, and while we're on the subject of grammar, you should probably consider checking yours before grading someone else. "Ur" is spelled "your". A period (or a semicolon) is needed between the two instances of "more bad" to avoid a run-on sentence with no conjunction. Also, the first word of a sentence must always be capitalized.
I hate being that guy who utilizes the "grammer nazi" tactic against someone, but I just had to emphasize the irony of this post.
This is somewhat hard. They're all similar in that they want what they think is best. They're all people who have (what the rest of us would think of as) messed up opinions on how the world works now (generally speaking). Saying this, I think Carver is the worst (reminds me of the governor).
Andy. He's a sadistic pedophile. The rest either believe they are doing the right thing or are too blinded by anger/revenge to realized that what he's doing is wrong.
The Stranger is the most sympathetic, mostly because he clearly broke months before even meeting Lee and is just a shadow of the person he was. Danny and Andy are cannibals, though Danny is the more unhinged of the two. Carver is a brutal leader, but I think he's acting mostly out of what he feels is in the best interest of his group. Well, that and whatever fits his ego. Danny feels like the worst, but if you judge how bad someone is by how in touch and aware they are of how morally wrong their actions are, then Carver could easily be the worst.
The full, exact line is: "Used to get these school kids on tours right before the dead" [line gets cut off] "Kids laughing and playing. All the girls runnin' around here in their springtime dresses... [creepy moan] It was" [line gets cut off]
It's at 5:45 in this video, in case you'd like to hear it for yourself. There are a ton of unused lines from episode 2, I wish more of them were included. A lot of them would've added more depth to an already amazing episode. (though I can see why certain ones weren't included) Unfortunately the last 1 or 2 seconds of each line is cut off.
I was wondering what that unused line was. I heard there was something like that that heavily implied that Danny was a pedophile, but I never knew what the exact line was. Hella creepy.
I kinda liked Danny myself. Sure he was a crazy, cannibalistic son of a bitch, but when it came his turn to be on the other end of the (pitch)fork, he stuck to his philosophy. That gleeful grin on his face when he said "You can have me." The fact the the only problem he had with Lee killing him was "The meat'll get tainted; you can't eat it!" You gotta respect that. So my vote goes to Andy for being the worst of the lot of them.
Yeah. Danny was just straight-up crazy and wasn't really in the mentally sound position to make the right choice. He felt a lot more sympathetic than Andy, who on the other hand, sounded much more sane to me.

when i saw omid creeping up on her i was wondering where his gun was. it was hard not doing anything during that scene, understandable, but hard. i have no remorse for the gut shot, she seemed perfectly fine to condemn a little girl to death, as long as she didn't have to see it. then there's the intelligence factor, no one expects a little girl to be on her own, so bullying her around isn't exactly good for her health most likely (whether or not she shot omid, which as it turns out would have been the one to not want to kill her).
Michelle.

i didn't eat his food. you have to try and keep up the little safety/security things when you get caught up in other stuff, otherwise people think you are dead and take your food, or you get held at gun point with your own gun.
Everyone on this planet is a bad person, no one on this Earth can say they have never done anything wrong or acted in a way which has led to… more suffering, some people are just "more bad" than others (or in the cause of these characters way way way more)
Danny - just creeped me the hell out, stroking his gun like it was human...just weird. Andy: I honestly see him as a lighter shade of evil compared to Danny. Yes he was a cannibal, but for the most part he did what he did in order to survive. Plus his genuine heartbreak when you tell him his momma and brother are dead shows he cared for his family above just himself. That shows some humanity at least.
Danny: I wanted to shoot him on sight, he gave me such a bad feeling that only got worse the deeper you went into the episode. The guy is a pedophiliac, twisted, gun happy lunatic with no redeeming qualities at all. The only reason I didn't drive the pitchfork into his gut was because of Clementine. That, and having him suffer as he was cannibalized by the walkers alive. No other reasons.
Stranger: Didn't hate him nearly as much once I realized who he was. He seemed a good man who was broken by circumstances beyond his control. Circumstances we as the player were responsible for. That said, I refused to back down when it came to protecting Clementine. His reasons for what he did made sense, but were not justified at all.
Carver: He's evil, but not without noble intentions buried underneath. The man is willing to go to great lengths to protect his unborn child for example. Plus there's his approach to "those who left the flock". I'm not saying it's a perfect solution, but the fact he's willing to try to forgive and forget shows he's not a complete monster. We don't know the full story of Carver just yet, so it's not right to jump to the conclusion he's the ultimate villain.
well after giving the subject quite a bit of thought, i have to say being evil in a post apocalyptic world is more about how you express your evil, rather than what your evil is.
andy: a cannibal, he waited around with his family in one location and took advantage of those that came to him. his cannibalism was a bonding thing that tied him closer to his family. basically he was evil that minded his own business for the most part.
danny: a cannibal, a gun nut, and a pedophile. a lot of evil in this one, but like his brother, he didn't seek out others to fulfill his evil desires, and didn't use his evil at the expense of his group. the cannibalism was a family thing, and helped strengthen his ties to his family. the gun nut part is incredibly useful in a post apocalyptic world, and the exact opposite flaw (anti gun nut) would be quite detrimental. as for the last one, pedophilia, well sure it is evil, but how evil is it to terrorize kids who are already terrorized, and who are going to die anyway, at least he only partakes in those that come to him and doesn't draw it out. he was evil, no doubt there, but by non zombie apocalypse standards he is as evil as someone who tortures someone who is getting taken off life support and happens to be at his local hospital. thus less than a murderer (by non apocalypse standards), but undeniably evil.
stranger: a kidnapper. a broken man that spent time stalking his prey, then drew her to him and grabbed her against her will, while putting her and those with her in danger. his evil got him to venture out and send zombies against people in an effort to kill them. he convinced another to act out against their group to neither the betterment of herself or her group. and lastly he took her against her will. once he is done with clementine he most likely would seek out another girl to fill the hole in his heart. his evil results in more evil than either of the two brother's evil, and has less redeeming qualities (not to say the brothers were redeemed, they are still quite evil and a shoot on sight sort of people). by non apocalypse standards i'd put him on par with a run of the mill kidnapper, that doesn't harm the child, like an uncle unhappy with the treatment of the child by its parents. not as evil as danny, but does more harm in the world.
carver: well we don't know everything about him, but he will go quite far out of his way to fulfill his desires, kills in cold blood, and kidnaps who he thinks he should. it is doubtful he will have enough mitigation to make him less harmful to the world than the others, and he might contain near the same level of evil as danny. his only saving grace right now is the benefit of doubt, which sadly for him won't last forever.
bandits: the bandits that crop up and take things from people (the group that separated clementine from christa, the one that shot omid, the ones that attacked the S1 group, etc.) is fully understandable, but results in the deaths of those they come across, and they actively search for victims. this makes them on par with the stranger for harmfulness, but less evil. i figured i should mention them as they are common and the baseline for bad people in a zombie apocalypse. depending on if you view the evil within vs. the evil you do as being more important, that puts danny being better or worse than the baseline (less outward evil, more inward evil than the baseline), and the stranger as being worse of the same and the baseline. the only one that seems to have more outward evil than the baseline is carver, but as i said before he has the benefit of doubt still.
The only person out of the ones you listed I would consider to be "bad" would be Carver. Danny and Andy were pushed, and they reacted to it. I wouldn't mind trying out people for food, as long as it's cooked well. Though, I guess they did still do wrong when they killed Mark when they didn't need to. Stranger isn't bad at all, I'm sure a lot of people get revenge, including myself. He wanted it, and I would to if I was in his position. Carver on the other hand, I like him a lot. He kills Walter for Kenny killing Johnny, which is understandable, but then goes ahead and tries to kill Alvin (Which isn't too necessary, but regardless, I love it!) Alvin survived in my version though.
Also you forgot to mention Nate, I'm not sure if I would consider him bad or not. He obviously has fun killing, which doesn't bother me, it just gives me more of a reason to love his character. I love his attitude and the way he jokes around (Kinda reminds me of myself.)
You could actually say that everyone who died after the bandit raid was Ben's fault, because he's the one who let it happen in the first place. Without the bandit raid, Lee would probably still be alive.
I don't think Stranger is bad. He just lost it after his wife and kids died. Danny is creepy, he's bad. I like Andy, but he's bad too. We haven't seen Carver really go completely insane, but so far, it's him.
Andy. He's a sadistic pedophile. The rest either believe they are doing the right thing or are too blinded by anger/revenge to realized that what he's doing is wrong.
Carver. Anyone who hits Clem deserves to be disemboweled and hung from a tree by their intestines, then beaten by hairy, baseball bat wielding, clowns. Then taken down and dropped off a rooftop only to have their corpse eaten by walkers. The ultimate punishment for an ultimate fuck up.

Maybe the person he was beating didn't follow certain rules that they had to follow, or he just wanted to let out his rage. Let's just wait for the episode to come out, I'm curious as well.

True...but who knows, maybe she is still alive! (even though i hope she's dead!)

It doesn't matter, they're all assholes to me.

I don't think I've ever hated a character as much as her or have every been that happy to see someone get gut shot.
The stranger. Mother fucker separated Lee and Clem >:/
But ni, he has the best reasoning for doing what he did, even if I don't agree with it.
I'd say Danny is the worst person personality wise, but Carver takes the cake as the best villain.

It's kinda funny how they're both pedos and both have the same first name. XD
Lee biggest badass but in terms of evil say st johns can't remember which one but one of them is pedo killer cannibal so St johns most definitely
