Future End Credit Music?

edited April 2014 in The Walking Dead

The end credit music for each episode has so far been amazing, so I was just wondering what songs people here think would be good for future episodes.

I personally think that Walls by Anadel would be great for the last episode.

I suppose I should give my reasons as for why I think "Walls" would be a good end song for the last episode. I've held to the fact that I think this Season will end with a big battle, and then afterwards they go on the road to Wellington, possibly losing more people before the episode ends. So.. I think that it might end with them on the road to Wellington, almost traumatized after losing so many more.

Walls is about wanting to shut out the outside world, and staying instead in your own mind, inside your dreams. If it does end that way, then it would be basically the perfect song. Although, someone else posted another Anadel song, "Remember Me", and that one is equally good.

I was hoping that 'Carver' by Anadel would be the credits music for Ep2.

    Here's hoping it's used in Ep3.

  • Something similar to this. I want it to be depressing yet hopeful... or it could just be that I love this song lol.

  • I've been listening to this a lot while I was thinking about TWD's grim-dark story.

Ironically, it actually has quite an optimistic tone to it in its lyrics, as in that the mind is liberated from the body. Could fit well for an episode 4 ending, me thinks. I got a feeling that things are going to be really dark around episode 4 or 5, so a hopeful song like that would really set the tone for the ending of season 2.

I literally came in here to post the same thing as you, OP. Huh.

Would fit really well if Clem ends up being the last one standing again.

As for something else, I have no idea what is going to happen in the episode so I have no idea, but I feel episode 4 might require something with a darker sound to it.

how to save a life is a beautiful song, if it was a different version of the song it might work in working in walking dead.

I don't know if it would work, but this song by death cab for cutie makes me think of Clementine and Lee.

death cab for cutie --- i will follow you you into the dark

  • If Season ends with something emotional and/or bittersweet, I think this would work.

  • I think it's too cliche. Great song just isn't fitting.

  • It's funny, I always hated acoustic songs before, but once I heard Anadel, BAM! I'm hooked to their songs now!

  • Something by Of Monsters and Men

  • I could bet that this will be the ending credits song

Of course, if they follow the "In the" trend

Well they're coming to cold Wellington so here's my suggestion...

  • I can see it now. I the credits rolling while this song plays

  • ya, so it has to be a song with the "in the" words in the title

And I agree, could be a good end song for episode 5.

  • Another Anadel song, great! I like this one almost as much as Walls, I guess it depends on HOW exactly it leaves off. But this would be great in almost any situation I think.

  • Uh... Wasn't this used in the TV Show?

Also, it just doesn't seem like it would fit, at least, I don't think it would.

  • Anadel did the first song so i believe they should follow the same tradition and do the ending song.

I think a remix of this would work

Talks about cold mornings and waters (Wellington??), feeling empty and being lonely(everyone dies and she survives??), leaving everything behind(No Going Back??)

I'm bad at getting meaning out of lyrics btw.

  • And again, and again, and again.

I can just imagine the tears shedding during this song at the credits if something tragic happens... again.

I think ''Needle in the hay'' by Elliot Smith would actually really fit the game

I really hope that Anadel stays with Telltale. They're making great music and they seem to know what they're doing and can match their music to any feeling or emotion that they want.

    Nice pick, Telltale.
