I know S2E2 was 700 MB, how big was S2E1? How big were the file sizes for S1 episodes? Let's compare these.

It went down from 1.8 GB to 1.57 GB because of encryption. Assuming that it's all uncompressed files still, I'd bet it's because of the maps, models, animations and the like.

1.64 GB? I thought Episode 1 was around 1 GB or something....
The steam db said 1.64, i just checked the files on my computer and episode 1 took 982MB. Either way it appears that the next episode could be bigger.
I bet Episode 3 would take 2 hours, mainly because it's double the size that what episodes usually have.

Just because it is larger in size doesn't mean that it is going to be longer, it could just have a lot of uncompressed files

A Telltale employee said at PAX East 2014 that Episode 3 of TWD will be one of the best yet and will have lots of character development in it..

I'm thinking not the next Playing Dead, but the one after. It feels like saturday would be too early, and they haven't released promo images yet.
