Of course not. I'd still keep on playing no matter what. The central point of the whole The Walking Dead (not only the game but also the comic book) is that nobody, literally nobody is necessary for the plot and away from any possibility of death.

It is made to make players (and readers) grow attached to the charachters, in order to make them feel really sad when they die. Keep in mind that in the world of the walking dead there is no cure, no hope, no safety. ALL charachters are going to meet a gruesome and inevitable death, wether we see it on screen or not

  • If that happend. My passage will die with clementine

  • I'd trade Clementine for Lee any day.

I totally hear ya bro. It would never be the same.

  • they could kill whoever they want and I wouldn't stop playing. it adds to the story. IF NO BODY DIED it wouldn't be interesting because the biggest thing is wondering who will die next. if no one dies it will be boring. I mean I will be SAD if someone I liked died. I would be DEVESTATED if clem died. I would be mad for a couple days but I wouldn't quite playing.
For example: If you knew no body can die, and they show a zombie about too bit kenny you wouldn't be like NO DONT DIE! SOMOENE SAVE HIM. you would be like: well there not killing anyone so why should I worry at all?

  • Maybe I would it would be sad but that's a "if" statement

  • Thanks lass.

Thanks to you, this forum is consuming my life, but for the greater good. You're awesome.

  • I dont think they will kill of Clementine because... We all know the end of Lee and that was really hard... But we didn't stop for Clementine because we wanted to rescue her. Clementine survived because of us... Clementine is the reasen why we are playing this game in a world of horor, she dies and we dont have a reason to keep giong... Telltale knows it will be a cheap trick and dum to let Clem die... Clem dies now you are playing Kenny, Sarah of somebody else. Thats stupid... And if SHE DIES WE BURN THINGS

  • Gamerpoop The Walking Dead
    Herschel: Whats your name?
    Clementine: Clementine.
Herschel: That wasn't so hard and try to be a less of a asshole will surve you just fine
    Clementine: Fuck off Mister!

  • If they kill clem then that means the ending is repetitive and pointless. It would be for nothing if they did s2 just so they could kill clem

  • If they do it, I don't know maybe get depressed and drunk.

  • I hope it never comes to that. I think I speak for everyone when I say we've tried too hard to help her survive only to watch her die now. It would break me.

SO FU#@$%G CUTE CLEM AT 1:17

  • "I have not... come this far... to die now."-Nick, L4D2

    Sums up my opinion.

  • It was really one hell of a quote from a game like L4D

"I have not... come this far... to die now."-Nick, L4D2 Sums up my opinion.

  • I fell from the damn ledge!

"I have not... come this far... to die now."-Nick, L4D2 Sums up my opinion.

  • If the game were to go on without Clem, i'd probably leave. The game would still be good but I just can't handle Clementine dying.

  • Not at all, this is what irritates me about "fans" of The Walking Dead. This goes for the show too (Daryl). People claim that they will stop watching when their favorite characters die, well that doesn't make you a fan of TWD if that's the case. I am a fan of TWD, and not just for Clem, but the overall universe and all it's characters and story. I don't see myself quitting TWD. Plus, my favorite character in the show and comics are pretty much dead, and I shrugged it off pretty easily. (I still wish they could have survived though).

  • If Clem died, I would probably become an environmental hero for refilling the Aral Sea with man-tears, and thus have no time for such things anymore.

Hell, they wouldn't even be man-tears. Just straight up tears.

  • Because Carl isn't in the house. It gets her mad.

Lori, I like Lilly, why don't you get over that?

  • Well, they killed Lee, didn't they? I wouldn't exactly like Clem to die but I don't enjoy playing her in S2. If you look at the positives, it at least means we can play as Kenny.
I expect people to dislike this.

  • Of course I would. She's the only reason I'm still playing this game.

  • Absolutely not.
As much as I like Clem and hope she never dies as long as Telltale keeps making season's, i'll keep playing.

Too me, The Walking Dead is about more than just one character but if Telltale kill's off Clem, I sure hope they can introduce another character that the players like just as much otherwise even I would agree killing Clem could kill the entire series.

I'm more about The Walking Dead verse and all the stories that go along with it. As long as they can keep me (and everyone else) excited about every episode and character's I'll keep playing!!

  • The only way I wouldn't mind is is Kenny continues the Lee & Clem legacy.

  • I don't think Clementine will die this season. It's way too soon, and there is no one to pass the torch on to. If we end up getting a The Walking Dead: Season 4 and there is a new character coming into the spotlight during that time, then I'd say prepare for the worst. This is all considering that Kirkman keeps The Walking Dead universe in the same dark, gloom-and-doom, and everybody-dies atmosphere. This is all also dependent on
    a) whether TellTale Games makes all future seasons of The Walking Dead Clementine centered
    b) whether TellTale Games can advance Clementine's character without making her seem immortal
    c) most importantly, whether TellTale Games wants to make more The Walking Dead games
I can honestly see TellTale Games making season 3 the bookend to the Clementine story arc but also leaving it somewhat open. If they wanted to do more seasons, they can do it with new characters (maybe with someone who was a born after the outbreak) and include adult Clementine as a supporting character or special guest. Anyways, to answer the question the poster asked, if Clementine died, I would be shocked by how the carpet was pulled under my feet. My expectations towards TellTale Games would increase exponentially for a season that gives us a character that fills in Clementine's shoes and justifies why Clementine had to die so soon.

  • This is what I think I would still play Because i love the walking Dead I would be sad i would probably cry but that wont stop me from playing

  • If they managed to create a character half as engaging as Clem and he/she is the next season's protagonist, then maybe... I mean, I'd be so fucking pest that, even if they do find a proper replacement as a playable character, I'd still have my doubts.

Depends who lives. If Kenny's alive, he can continue the legacy that began in Season 1. If Luke turns out to be a good guy and he survives, then we'll at least have him for a third season (that will probably never exist.)

I'd be on board for Season 3 regardless, I guess, but it'd be nice to know that someone would make it out alive and they'd be confirmed as the PC.
