My brother and his friend Sergio recommended it to me, and after seeing Episode 1 was free, I downloaded it tried it out. I can only ever really get into games with good story, and after that first episode, I was hooked.
I found out the game ( I also found out about TWAU ) when my cousin showed me a video of pewdiepie playing The Wolf Among Us, and at the part where that little kid frog started talking, pewdiepie was saying that was the same voice actor that plays Clementine. Since my cousin knew I don't know who Clementine was, he showed me a video of The Walking Dead, S2 E1 (I got a spoiler about Omid's fate, and I also thought that was Clem's parents lol). The game looked so interesting, partially because of so zombies and partially because of the style of game. You can guess what happened next
Watched the Zero Punctuation review for Episodes 1 & 2. Yahtzee gave it high marks (which almost never happens). I also watched a bit of the show and enjoy character driven, choice-based games. Seemed like a no-brainer.
I heard it was a great game, but I never looked into. I was catching up on the TV show via Netflix, and I figured I should look into it. Saw the season pass was pretty cheap and said why not. I'll buy it. BEST. DECISION. EVER.
I saw a video on it from "theRadBrad". and One Year Later My brother got it for my birthday. here is the vid I watched for reference:
Had Ps Vita 99% of the games are cheap indie games just awful next thing game called walking dead came up I was curious so looked up the reviews and all were so high then TWD got my attention and bought it as played Heavy Rain and other point and click games online so knew even using this gameplay style still make quality game. Took me a while to buy it as hate zombies games as never enjoyed whole keep shooting them yet still come making games with zombies boring and meaningless. But learned in this game its about how the group survives and how they handle the situation just adored protecting Clem as love games like that like TLOU where each action had meaning behind it so bought it best decision I ever made.

I saw it on steam, was a fan of the tv show so I just bought it. One of my best decisions. Just found out TWAU exists, so bought that too to ease the irritation for waiting on TWD for so long each time.
Telltale staff members came to my house, beat me down and placed a copy of the game on my unconscious body as a form of signature.
I assumed that was how everyone got their copy?
I watched the first three or so episodes of YOGSCAST Hannah's playthrough of it and then got it myself. I heard about TWAU because after Seaosn One I had starting following TTG on Twitter and what not.
Heard a lot of buzz around the game for a while, but never really looked into it. After episode 4 was released I saw it was $15 on Steam, figured I would give it a shot. Episode 1 was decent, but episode 2 literally left me with my jaw on the ground. After playing that I knew I was in for something special.
Hear say. Turns out, for once, the rumors were spot on.
Always been a Visual Novel nerd (read about 93 if I trust my shortcut folder, and I uninstalled some since I started) and I always liked zombies.
This game was a godsend for me as it combines elements of both. As long as TTG keeps doing this series they can count me in the "will blindly buy anything related" troop.
When I heard how many game of the year awards it was getting I had to try it to see what all the hype was about. I admit I was skeptical at first but when I tried it for the first time I was instantly hooked! One of the best gaming decisions of my life. It just sucks when you try to convince others to try it but they're to ignorant to give it a chance.
I started watching a play through by Matt and Pat from Two Best Friends and after the first episode, I decided that this was a story that I should probably experience on my own rather than vicariously through two idiots yelling at each other.
My (now ex-) boyfriend told me to play it. I have loved it every since
Zombie porn.
My friend started talking about it after the trailer came out which announced the game, i was too much of a pussy when it came to zombies though. After episode 1 came out and got lots of positive response, i decided to check the wikipedia page, found out the game focuses more on the characters then shooting zombies in the everything. Decided to check out a let's play of it, and from then on i got the game and was very excited for the next episode!
Just like me boy... just like me
For stuff... thaaangs.
Toby.. he doesn't know what he's doing and freaks out after every decision, it's so funny.
Episode 2 blew my freaking mind, one of the best in the series.
