  • With Telltale there will be no news until the week of the release. Get used to it :P

We'll be looking at a May 13th release at this rate..

  • So much for Easter Break. I expect Job's cat in a bunny suit lol.

How can they give us dates? If they have submitted the game they need to wait for Sony and Microsoft to authorise the game in their systems and then they can give Telltale a release date and then they will tell us. If Telltale give us a date and it ends up getting delayed because of a authorisation problem it could cause much more upset than not giving a release dates. It's obviously soon as its now been uploaded to steam so don't panic and be patient.

  • Haha, Excited already.

  • Those pictures will probably be better than the screens we're expecting in Summer 2016..

  • Not just the dates my friend, dont get it wrong. Pr director Job shares his cat instead of any hints about the game. They dont have to give an exact date, they can announce that the development of the episode is done and they are waiting for the releases on platforms. Not that hard believe me.

Instead they're letting Steam do it for them because..... WAIT FOR IT!

Job has better things to do like take pictures of his cat.

  • Their pr is a bit...... Lacking. Why can't puzzle just drop a comment on the forums that says: yo homies, we be gettin episode 3 apppppppproooooooooved. Biatchessss.

I don't care if he tweets about his cat, it's his personal account so he can tweet what he wants and he doesn't need to work 24/7. I wasn't here for season 1 but i read somewhere that Telltale did announce that they submitted the game and people constantly spamming xbox and ps support asking about the game so they stopped doing it.

I think because of contract obligations, but that's just speculation on my part.

Oops i just posted that comment... LOL

He's the PR of TTG, it maybe his Twitter, but people go there for what? Pictures of his cat? NO news and updates.

My favourite spider-man game is Web of shadows and one PS2 game

    I have memories of Spider-Man 1, and i like Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man sucked. "Amazing Spider-Man 1 the game" was good, though.. (I'm tal

  • How can anyone like it this way? TTG PR is UNGODLY!

If you like it this way don't sign it, your personal view and i respect it. If you change your mind; https://www.change.org/petitions/tellta

And is it his fault that people find not only news and updates, but some personal things he wishes to share, too? It IS his personal twitter account, as you yourself have said. Despite our frustrations, he has the right to put whatever the hell he wants there.

  • I 100 % agree, but people, you know...

  • He can share, i dont care. He doesn't share anything related to TTG. Cat pictures, he can share them it is his personal account but if he is the PR director, he needs to answer some questions, tweets he doesn't even give a damn. He just retweets the release dates.

I certainly agree with you. That would be okay for him to do if he would:

    1. Provide us with updates and news

    2. Give us hints on the release

    3. Provide us with screens

He does do this, but he does it like 3 days before the release.

(screens of his cat don't count)

  • He doesn't share anything related to TTG.

You sure? Seems that 1/2 of what he has is TTG related. Sure, their communication can certainly be much better, but conditioning him to post only stuff about the games, which seemed to be what you wanted, is just silly.

I'm curious, though, what kind of questions should he answer? Release dates? Info on how the TT release and rating system works?

Provide us with updates and news

Aye. He kind of hints whenever an episode is complete and playable, but not much else. The idea of them telling us if an episode is finished and if it has been sent or not to certification is nice, but I suspect that their partners hold that kind of info confidential under contract. Again, just a theory, something only Job and Laura themselves can (or not) answer.

Give us hints on the release

He actually has done that, and people hate on him (including me) when some hints like "around the corner" take about a fucking month to mean something. Us fans are curious; we get mad at the radio silence and get mad at the cryptic hints they sometimes give us. Seems like no mater what they do, some amount of shit's going to be thrown their way.

    Provide us with screens

  • Oh god are you guys seriously criticizing what the staff does on their personal twitter accounts? They may be PR people but those twitter accounts are for their own personal use. I remember a few months ago people were complaining about Job twitting a picture of his food at a restaurant.

Also please stop with this nonsense about being banned for your opinion, that's not how it works. If you got banned for anything it would be for spamming.

Yeah, because they did for 202 and people got pissed off.

EDIT: With the episodic model they have, it sadly all comes down to picking your poison: Vague updates on what little details they are allowed to share prior to release that can be misinterpreted by us and that only serve to fuel desperation and disappointment until the release dates are announced; or the maddening silence up until they actually have something concrete to share.

Has he done any of that shit for 203? NO.

  • Sorry i made a mistake. I thought going to the PR people's twitter account would have news, info, updates, etc. That's like saying i go to TTG twitter account for pictures of the TTG pets.

  • hello ahh its less than 1 month now awesome

  • TTG has some of the best PR in gaming industry its you the fans that are absolute dumasses

  • so you hints of the game ... thats not Jobs fault or anyones really beside Sony/Microsoft TTG wants to make sure they have the game aproved before they start teasing because if they start teasing without the game being aproved they might be misleading us to thinking the game is coming out soon when actualy it could take weeks to come out
