Nah, downvotes don't mean shit, if that's what you're talking about. It is one of my favorites basically for the reasons @Graysonn put above, I just wanted to hear a different opinion.
Everybody has opinions, and I just happened to fall into the minority (That's to be expected though, this usually happens because fuck my opinions right?)
Getting downvotes because you're being nice. Great. I remember not long ago, people were talking about how nice this community is. Not anymore, I guess.
Nick Breckon may not be a perfect writer, but at least I understand what he writes. No offense, but it's really difficult to follow your train of thought and I didn't get why you hate his writing.
Of course he's not a bad writer... It's just that he has some really shoddy inconsistencies in his writing:
-Doesn't matter what you say to Rebecca in E1, you won't get penalized for it. She undergoes a change in her character anyways. This can also relate to Carlos, who trusts you to look after Sarah no matter what you say to him in E1.
-Told Rebecca, "I'm a little girl" in E1. But then Clem automatically says "I'm not a little kid" in E2. Huh?
-Oh, can't forget the epic "lol, I got lucky" from Kenny.
-Carlos' instances with Clem's bite, the "big house" as well as the windmill. Was this intentional?
I'm really thankful that Pierre Shorette is writing the next episode.
Big brother... Hold me. I am starting to turn into a grammar nazi again...
IT IS TOO TEMPTING.
BROTHER, HELP.
BRO.
I...
CAN'T...
HOLD IT...
ANY LONGER!!!!!!!

Yeah. Maybe this unfriendliness is a result of the recent troll attacks in combination with the lack of news for Ep. 3. Hopefully this forum will be a friendlier place after Ep. 3 is released...
Alright. This thread lacks some things. I'm just gonna go and point them out.
Firstly, there's coherent writing. The only thing most people get from the OP is that Nick Breckon is a "bad writer". Okay. Got it. That's your opinion. You can't impose it upon others, but what you can do is give arguments. Well, if you DID have arguments (That's another thing this place lacks), it would be extremely hard to get them. Look, if you want people to RESPECT your opinion, first they have to UNDERSTAND it. That is why God almighty inserted that pink blob in our heads that we call brains, which, later, resulted in grammar. Grammar is a way for people to understand one another. You need to earn your sense of grammar, please, so that this rant of mine may not be pointless.
BUT, even if you DO learn grammar, that won't help much here unless you have ARGUMENTS.
One of the questions people put while coming upon your thread is WHY. That is a very good question. And when someone puts a very good question like that, they also demand answers. If they don't get answers, there would be 99% of shitstorm coming your way. This thread has many questions, but close to no answers. A direct answer, i think, can be replaced by arguments to make it easier. Arguments support your opinion. Again, people may still not buy it, but at least you justified it, so nobody can pin any faults on you. If you didn't wish to give arguments in the first place, then why make your opinion public? You must know that posting it would start either an ARGUMENT, which is not as preferable, or a DEBATE, a better choice. So go get your arguments, buddy, we'll be right here!
And, guys, honestly, there's no need to throw insults around because, no offense, that is a stupid move. Stupid. Let's try and be smart about it, please, approaching this issue aggressively does not help in any way, so if you insist upon using it, you might as well shut the fuck up.
I am giving you the benefit of the doubt because, by all means, IT'S EASTER! But i HAVE to insist that you follow the steps i listed up there. It's not obligatory, of course, but it WOULD make your situation better. I DO think you are not a troll, but you need to PROVE it. And if you really aren't, then that will be easy!
Oh, and, just to throw MY opinion out there, too, Nick Breckon is not a bad writer. There is no such thing as a "bad writer" at Telltale yet. Sure, he has flaws. Never said he didn't. I mean, i think the game is not as interactive and your choices don't count as much as before, and there are some things, like Carlos's stupidity, that i am not sure if they have comedic purposes, or if they are actual holes in the story writing. And the dialogue choices and the characters should probably be developed a bit more. But all in all, i am just happy i got to play it! It isn't HORRIBLE, but it COULD use some polishing.

WE ALL ARE LIL' SIS.
WE CAN'T HELP IT.
glad I made you day
I think it's redeemable. We just gotta start being friendlier
We still have many great users
Indeedly Doo, Viva. Maybe that's why Carver hates him so much. Carlos's accent is a threat to his own dulcet tones.
Now those are arguments for a bad writing. OP was seriously lacking them.

I want back my 2 minutes of life which I spent on reading this crap .

Ditto.
But Nick is writing the finale... have fun.
