Who's voice(s) do you like most?

edited April 2014 in The Walking Dead

Something new to ask. When hearing the voices of the characters (s1 or 2), who's character's voice do you like most? I think Luke's character has an awesome voice, most favorable was when he was telling nick not to spill the news about Mathew. Carly is one of my favs but I think both her and Christa's voices were a little deep. Carver's voice is perfect for his role, and I like the warming, welcoming tone of Rebecca's voice when she's not whining and bitching.

  • Dave Fennoy is a god.

Lee's voice was freaking awesome. Also Nicks voice, especially when he is doing his Carlos impression.

  • Mely Hutchison's voice is just too sweet.

Sorry Dave, You're still a beast though.

  • I like Kenny's voice, that scene in episode four when he's yelling at Ben is fucking amazing voice acting.

  • Dave Fennoy and dem urban dreads is the KING.

  • Lee, Nick and Carver are my personal favourites. Their voices are all pure sex.

I also have to give endless props to Melissa Hutchinson for her vocal range with Clementine.

  • I like Kenny's a lot, but bens was also amazing.

  • Agreed.

  • Yeah, I'd have to say Dave Fennoy as Lee Everett. That and Melissa Hutchson as Clementine.

  • pete's voice :D

  • Carver's voice is EPIC.

  • I will say I was intrigued by how well he was even in little side dialogue like when lee is inspecting his surroundings.

  • Is it bad that I like Nate's voice the most? I mean, I can't describe it but it's so sarcastic and arrogant yet outgoing and somewhat friendly. It's also very scratchy, hell I don't know I just like it so damn much.

    • **Trevor Hoffman **as Ben - Trevor Hoffman's first VA job (not counting Glenn, who had like fifteen lines). He did FANTASTIC.
    • Erin Yvette as Molly - Erin Yvette's first VA job as well. The newcomers have the juiciest roles, in my opinion, but that doesn't take anything away from the incredible talent they have. I hope those two stick with it!
    • Melissa Hutchinson as Clementine - The evolution of her voice was absolutely astounding. Young Clementine to preteen Clementine was done ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESSLY.
    • Gavin Hammon as Kenny - I can hear the pain in every word he says. The character can be hard to deal with sometimes, but Gavin does a terrific job making it his own.
    • Michael Madsen as Carver - Perfect voice for role.
    • Dave Fennoy as Lee - Made me cry. Nine. Fucking. Times.
  • dude, when he walks out of the cabin and says "You have a wonderful day now" i was so spooked

  • Yeah, it kinda seems like he was gonna make sure it was gonna be a "wonderful day" for us.

  • Carver's voice and Lee's voice are the best for me.

  • Lee is a given. Besides that, I really like Carver and Nick's voices. Micheal Madsen's deep, gravelly tone fits Carver perfectly. It's like Carver was made for his voice.

Nick's voice has a really nice smooth tone to it. I only realized it recently while I was re-watching the whiskey still scene. Don't know how else to describe it, but I like it, it's calming. (when he's not aggro, that is)

  • Goes without saying, Dave Fennoy. Actually a really kind and humble guy. Got an autograph from him last year at SDCC.

Also, not being biased because he's my favorite character, but Carlos.

Kid Beyond has a really good voice. He voiced Roman in 400 Days with a tone that literally intimidated me. It was for that reason I was hoping Roman would become the main antagonist for season two. I was disappointed when he was shown dead at the river.

Aside from Roman, he voiced Gren in TWAU.

Just found out he also actually voiced Max in the first episode of S+M season one, so that was surprising. He has a lot of range for a voice actor.

  • Big round of applause for the greats, Dave Fennoy and Melissa Hutchinson. That recent podcast interview where she gives an interview as Clementine was so believe able and she's just great. And Dave's voice is just great, as Lee and as Bluebeard in TWAU. It's relaxing. Michael Madsen does an amazing job as well. And I love Scott Porter's Luke voice for some reason. Christa's VA is good too and I saw a picture of her once and she was gorgeous.

  • Lee and Carver's voices are godlike

  • I love that completely casual 'Howdy folks.' upon showing up at the ski lodge. Michael Madsen has some impeccable arse delivery.

  • Lee, Clem, Kenny and Carver.

  • Melissa Hutchinson

traumatized, depressed, distant and quiet girl in the early stages of puberty probably isn't the easiest role ever but she pulls it off

  • Clementine's voice is amazing, and Lee's is the voice of a badass.

  • Easily Dave Fennoy, don't even count it as much of a contest in my book. Melissa Hutchison's voice of Clementine though is flat-out adorable to hear.

  • Lee has the best voice fallowed by Carver and than Kenny.

  • In my opinion all of the voice actors/actress did a great job, but these are my favorites.

Season 1: Lee, Clem, Kenny, Ben

Season 2: Clem, Nick, Luke, Carlos

  • Almost all TWD's voice actors are amazing, but Melissa Hutchinson's performance of S2 Clementine is easily my favorite. The depth and variety of emotion in her character is unlike anything I've ever heard.

  • got to say gavin hammon aka kenny is a real talent its funny how he started from diging holes lol

  • Bonnie and her sexy accent <3

  • Clem, Luke, Kenny, Nick, Alvin,Russel, Eddie, Wyatt.
