Yo, listen I know you're cranky that we got no news yet on twd s2 e3, but don't you dare say telltale don't care about it fans or customers. They are working hard to give you the best experience ever and you know how hard is that. Also, they have to get it approve to be released by other companies, think about that. Also, they're probably know you guys are pissed and probably feel a little sad that you feel that way. Plus, they need the season pass probably because telltale is a small gaming company, they not as rich as ubisoft or EA. Think about their budget, that is probably why they release their games that way, so they can be able to lure people in their games so they can get the money to do the episodes. Listen, I'm sorry you feel that way, but just respect the company okay. But listen people are entitled to their own opinions and that is just fine.
I will never buy a season pass again, due to the lack of care TELLTALE gives their customers. Also to me, it seems like the fame has gone to their heads.

"The longer the wait, the better the product will be"
Episode 2 of TWAU took nearly 4 months and it wasn't very good, so that logic doesn't apply to Telltales games.
Tell you what. It isn't coming next week. the trailer isn't coming this week. that's me. not optimistic, not pessimistic, not even depressive. it's just how I feel.

You should've known better from the previous releases..
I didnt have any expectation regarding Telltale giving out any info because of their horrible PR, thus i am not dissapointed.
How on earth do YOU know what they are doing? Just because its taking a long time doesn't mean they are spending this time improving the game. don't jump to conclusions either way. Because of the lack of communication (the only source of news we have) you have to be upset and disappointed.

After reading some comments it is still appalling that some forum users are standing up for Telltale. It is absolutely remarkable how bad they are at PR. It reminds me of this video. Telltale (being Justin Beiber) and the fans being the dumb fans.
Don't waste that pizza you foul demon! There is nothing wrong with that Pizza, and you just wasted this precious piece of food. That is beyond evil dude I swear, you could have at least given it to me.

Hope we get some information and a release date soon. If it wasn't for the fact that the season 2 icon is on my ps3 downloaded games folder I would of forgotten all about this game.

Kenny: I don't know if the next episode would have come out on April 29th but I know one of us didn't just give up.
Carver: I know folks are sad about the delays. But let's try to remember this is a game studio and these are our games in development. The episodes may come out late yeah, but that don't mean they can't be amazing. Knowing full well those who choose not to buy our games would surely wished that they had.
...A refunds on the way.

Hey, I know they are not just doing TWD, but guess what, they are doing one other active game called the wolf among us. Plus, they are doing two other games, so yeah, I know they aren't spending their time on one game, but four freaky games. But like I've said, they also waiting for their contents to be approved. Just listen, I know and know you're mad, I admit that I myself gotten mad at telltale, but they are just a small gaming company. But what I like about telltale is that they will always make sure the content is not bad or rushed, they will make it the best as they can. Now, I respect all opinions, but please respect telltale, they are a truly good game company.

Really, you're comparing me and the rest of the loyal fans to this.
HAHAHAHAHAHOHOHOHEHEHEHEHAHAHEHE.
No, the only reason I defend telltale because they give us what we want and more, but that just my opinion.
But you have to say that TWD s2 is a great game, I mean, why would you be piss at telltale for not saying enough news to statisfy your thrist for upcoming episodes if you didn't care about the game. But if telltale would be like telling us that it will come each month and all we got was average or bad episodes because they rushed it, then i will lay down the bomb on them. But they didn't and that very good to me. So, I have my reasons and you have yours, that okay with me. Just respect man, just respect.

This has nothing to do with disappointment from the length of delay. This is more or less disappointment with quality of service that TTG provides now. I never remember waits like this until TWD came along. BTTF and other TTG games had a delay here and there but not every episode.
What really is a dagger to the eye... What is this company doing with the hoards of money they are receiving from TWD fans....... Reinvesting it in other new games that I honestly could not give two shits about.
I can't help but feel like TTG has completely forgotten what franchise has got them to this point. Their other games were great in the past but none achieved the status that TWD achieved. Sorry for the rant but it's really bad when I drop off for weeks at a time and come back to find no visible progress other then "it will be ready soon"
The appalling lack of PR and absolutely atrocious fan relations are finally getting some external attention.
Game quality = Excellent, best in the field, love them. Wonderful production team.
Eight some odd years ago Telltale got started as a tight little community of gamers willing to support the products, and building a whole new model of episodic adventure games that is fast becoming market standard.
Fast forward to today, where there is now zero fan community interaction and laughable communication and updates, and they're again leading the industry as one of the worst examples of abusing pre-orders. The Primary Sin of Pre-Order is Not Communicating With Your Customer. The Second Worst Sin is Lying to Your Customer. Habitual offenders, especially with that 4-6 week release window promise (yeah I know there's production delays, that's why you don't make promises in the first place unless you know you can hit them). This goes back over 6 months to Wolf Among Us last year, I can't believe this is happening at a studio this large and of this caliber. Someone please rescue this company, or al least find some competent PR staff.
You forget about something. They can't give us ANYTHING untli classification of their game isn't over. They can't give us even a release date because they don't know it yet. Let's see... they could give us a screenshot or even better - a release date today but... imagine the situation when episode 3 could be released 2 weeks later after that release date. Nice, huh? Irony is... you could call them liars in this situation and that's what I think they try to avoid.
Damn it all, I did not want it to be the thirteenth. I will be drowning in work by that point, and I wanted to get my fuel early next month. I really hope it's worth it.
I have a doubt: @puzzlebox has said in the past that TT continues to work on the game practically up until release on the PC version, but what about the console versions? Is the build they send to certification the final one for the respective consoles, or do they also continue working on it till release?
Comments
I wish they just gave us some info on when though.
If it's released on my birthday (May 19th) I s2g.
he's a troll just ignore him
sorry but it will be may 6th :P

If we do not get a trailer this week, it'll be on 13th
RESPECT 100% correct!
EPISODE 2 WASNT VERY GOOD!?!?!?!?!??!?!!!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!
Came back from a 4 hour art exam today hoping for some news of some kind...... damnit
Tell you what. It isn't coming next week. the trailer isn't coming this week. that's me. not optimistic, not pessimistic, not even depressive. it's just how I feel.
Respect has to be earned. Telltale definitely has behaved horribly where at least its Vita customers are concerned.
I too have come to expect it but I am none the less still disappointed every time.

I was prepared to celebrate when TTG were to inevitably announce something today. I bought a pizza and everything.
Don't waste that pizza you foul demon! There is nothing wrong with that Pizza, and you just wasted this precious piece of food. That is beyond evil dude I swear, you could have at least given it to me.
Say that again. I dare you.

More than 3200 comments and over 96 pages, still nothing.
That again.
Definitely. Maybe even just saying one or two dumb things about development each day would be better.
Even if it was just:
"Began working on the textures of episode three, today."
"Still working on the textures."
"More textures. Ugh."
That would be far better.

I'll be taking final exams in the middle of May. I was really hoping it'd come out May 6th, but that's looking less likely everyday.
