"Containing" the Hype

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead

How do you guys "contain" your hype for the upcoming episodes or what do you guys do while waiting? At the moment, I've been really into TWD (Game/TV) and really into Smash Bros and play in tournaments and what not. So what do you guys do to get the new episodes off your mind?

  • Homework is all i got right know u.u

  • NBA/NHL playoffs

  • For me, watching Let's Plays of 400 Days on YouTube is a good way to occupy myself in short doses.

Besides that, I generally just wait it out. Luckily for me, I'm a fan of most games Telltale makes anyways, so I also have Wolf Among Us to keep
    me busy.

  • I'm learning to play In the water by anadel on guitar :)

  • Watch the TV series, read the comics (I'm about to start reading them), and go on here. And I also work on homework and that stuff :p

I started taking some film classes at a private academy (those seem unique to Korea... 학원 [hakwon], I'm not sure what the parallel is abroad), so I'm going to the theatre a lot more, even if it's by myself (somewhat less embarassing in Korea)...'

Btw, most recently seen, Han Kongju, recommended by Scorsese... Though I'm waiting for 도희야 coming out next month - I reallly like the main actress Bae Doona - she's been out in some western films too (ie, Cloud Atlas)

  • Playing some Battleduck 4 and rufflin the nether feathers of the female ducks around my pond.
  • A lot of XCOM.
  • Talking to friends

Read back up on Spider-Man comics (I almost lagged a year behind, finished Superior Spider-Man last week) and saw the new film and got the movie tie in game. AKA: Pretty hefty Spidey-week it's been.
  • Just downloaded TWAU.. so good..
  • Playing some Skyrim. Currently shouting at my children for not supporting my claim to the throne (it's a mod that lets you become King of Skyrim). Dragonborn is *not* amused with the disloyalty of the Dovahchildren.
  • If I am craving more of tell-tale then I have a go at their other games. I'm playing Law & Order : Legacies at the moment. but apart from that since there is a wait between episodes I play 2 games. Mirror's edge is good fun love to replay that.
  • drawing. doingsomething for my art class right now.
  • haha i love your profile picture. ^.^

I'm enjoying it. Find it way better than the first one. Best Beenox Spider-Man game to me. Still not as good as Spider-Man 2 though.

  • Same. I've actually taken to inserting TWD characters into XCOM. Cpt. Clementine the squadsight Sniper still has her baseball cap. :D

Unfortunately, in an ironic twist of fate, Major Everett got bitten by a Chrysalid during a terror mission and Clem was the one who put him down after he turned.

    A lot of XCOM.

  • That game was a legend! I'll always remember beating up identical Hispanic dudes and dropping them off the Empire State Building. :D

  • I will try and watch the trailer or non-spoiler clip one time and watch some other let's play to pass time.
  • I'm terrible at it though. Even easy mode is too hard for me.

  • Playing HearthStone, the perfect "chill" game for me!!!
  • Yeah, it's pretty tough. I actually find the base-planning/research part harder than the battles themselves. Those are more just a matter of abusing Medics and overwatch. Training roulette helps too, if you have Enemy Within. It randomizes the skills your soldier get with every rank and lets you use skills that belong to other classes. (Ex: Sniper Clem has suppression.)

  • I'm playing the entire Ratchet and Clank series currently. I just completed A Crack in Time once again. I loved the final bosses in that one. Gonna play All 4 One next (tough/annoying), then Full Frontal Assault (never tried it yet), and finally play Into the Nexus (which I also never played before). Great series.
