Now if we get lucky . we may get it on 20th may as some one said a trailer could be next week [ The Week of 13 ]
And usually the episode comes the week after , So It's 20th
EDIT : sry didn't mean it to be a reply
Warning, you may go ahead and downvote this post because I'm about to be kind of annoying.
just after the screenshots were released, I … moresaid this: "Not May 6 you guys. Not May 6."
I got several downvotes. well..... suck it. because guess what? Not May 6.
I said I was going to be annoying. and I have no problem with others being optimistic, I just get annoyed when others tell me to suck it because they don't like what I said. so, just this once, I had my revenge. I'm done.
Yeah Lee should've done it straight away, a few minutes at most. He must've left it at least an hour before the suggestion comes up, by then it was too late to make a difference.
A real pain because there was that chopping knife thing in one of the draws back in the big house. If the group had used their heads they could've saved him.
First off, your quote is slightly inaccurate.. No one ever made a promise that episode 3 would come out sooner. What was said was:
Laura Perusco on February 27th, 2014 at 8:19 am said: We'll do our best! The wait for Episode 3 will almost certainly be shorter. :)
No where in that statement was any promise and your paraphrase did not include the words Almost Certainly.
Do you really think it fair to post inaccurate quotes then blame Telltale for breaking a promise they never made?
A Friday? Telltale's recent history suggests a Tuesday Release, and since May 6 is out, all we have left is May 13. May 20 would be a broken… more promise. I.E. "The wait for episode 3 will be shorter than that for episode 2" But, if does come out on May 13, Then it would be a total of 7 days shorter then the wait for episode 2.
No, it's not. Lee took too long to cut it off. All the charaters that survived a bite cut the limb rightaway, and I think some didn't even make it then. Lee was fucked when he decided keep going instead of taking immediate action.
ok what the fuck, what was the point of releasing all 3 pictures on the same day? he said it's not coming 5/6 but what if it comes on 5/7 or even 5/8? Some season 1 episodes came out on wednesdays and thursdays...
*All That Remains* was a disappointing premiere when pitted versus the clunky but heartfelt *A New Day*; *A House Divided*'s flaws are overlooked because of that mostly (TURBINE) great finale and was overall pretty good... but *Starved for Help* whoops it on many levels, and I'm open to discussion about it.
I have expressed my opinion on what could've been done and still can be done better, so I'm just venting out, here. Still, we have three episodes left to go, and I'm not going anywhere.
What? ''A New Day'' simply much better than ''All That Remains'' It makes you get to know and care about the characters. I didn't see any of that in S2EP1. ''A House Divided'' had atmosphere too. But ''Starved For Help'' had much more.

I can't be sure, because I did not know about the console approval process during the S1 wait, but isn't it set in stone now to coincide with the time PSN and XBLA store are usually updated? i guess they could release on Friday or so if they work something out with MS, Sony and Apple, but who knows if they're able to do that?
The only episode that came out on a different day of the week is *Faith* for TWAU, and that was a Season Premiere. It came out on Friday, October 11th last year.

If you were around from the beginning, after Season 1 Episode 1 was released you would know that the montly release plan was retracted before episode 2 ever came out.. That's old news.. I dont think any episodes took even 8 week's to be released.
(with the exceptions of 400 days and Season 2 but i'm not really sure how long those took)
Seem's to me some people are just so impatient that they'll attack any reason to complain to spread the blame when in fact it does absolutely no good.
Here's a little bit of info for you which may help.
When I joined the US Navy I was sent to a school to become a Ship's Serviceman.. Basically retail/customer service to the fleet.. Day 1 of class we were told "The customer is NOT alway's right" because they do not know everything about the job, what it takes to provide them with what they want.
Your last words were, "isn't a company supposed to improve over time?" Do you know what it takes to create a game? what it takes to release a game? what it takes to run a similar company??
Maybe it's just me being 47yo and have learned to be patient and realize I know absolutely nothing about what it takes to make a game like this so I will wait.. No matter if you're someone who complain's daily or if you're someone who sit's quietly by waiting, we'll both gt the same thing the same day.
As I mentioned previously, lets not jump to conclusions and blame certification as opposed to Telltale. Unfortunately, Telltale needs to tak… moree responsibility for the lack of communication and delays even if they are somehow not at fault. I don't care who is at fault, Telltale, citification, or some other party involved - the game was once again severely "delayed" out of the suggested range of 4-6 weeks. It is VERY concerning going forward that the same problem they had in Season 1 is carrying over to Season 2. I don't care whether you want to support Telltale or not, but facts are facts. This happened all of Season 1 and for both releases of Season 2... isn't a company supposed to improve over time?
I think the point was that the PR is actually doing their job for once. It's nice to see screenshots here and there even if the episode is "just around the corner" it keeps us from wondering and softens the blow of later releases. I hope they keep up with that pattern but I kind of doubt it. I believe they didn't expect for Sony/Microsoft QA to take so long.

Not really... It's sad, but if they tried to cut off his arm at the house without the medical supplies they found at Vernon's, Lee would've bled to death.
Though I dunno, maybe they could've just improvised bandages out of bed sheets or something.

what ? hahaha nahh actually unlike everyone who changed their date every week from April 29 to May 6 to May 13 I actually never explicitly s… moreaid a specific date. I said it will be after May 10th from the start, in which everyone disagreed. I can see by the down votes, people hate being proved wrong.
Gutted there was no trailer :( aahh well *fingers crossed* for May 13th then!
and to be honest I wasn't to bothered about the new guy Reggie (not sure if that was just me?).. He hasn't got my interest yet but maybe he will in the episode, Glad to see Kenny though, that was the best thing about the "sneek peek" video! and the possible 400 days character in the background :) reeaally hope Luke comes back soon too!
How often do you hear an Indian/Pakistani do voice acting in games? Not very often, I'd bet. Personally I don't think it sounds bad but I do think the character model is off and more than anything the lip syncing doesn't match.
So it is most likely May 13th then... Didn't want it to be, but I knew it since news started coming too close to next week. So if it releases then, then it means the wait would have been only one week less than "A House Divided". It's an improvement, so I don't mind. Telltale handling all these series at once must be stressful so I can understand. My brain cells are dying from the wait, but I appreciate the time they put into their work and will gladly wait for it. Episode 3 will probably kill even more brain cells due to what I am hearing. It seems to be a cluster of mindfucks in one episode... Can't wait!

Apparently in this forum, it's a contest on who gets the release date right.
or maximum 10 min after he got bit.
Also yay for NO TRAILER!
You don't. :P
