I love the Nuke ship (which is rare for me, I never ship characters), but discussing it here is pointless because any actual discussion gets drowned out by people overreacting and stupid comments.

Also for people who downvote these kind of threads or only go "no no no no just ew no" If only the idea of two man is enough to disgust you then you really need to learn to be more accepting. Love isn't sickening, hating people just because of who they are is.
I don't see why it couldn't happen, or why some people seem so against it. I, however, think that they're just close friends, like brothers, and that they don't take it any further.
I just prefer them as friends. Friendship does not have to turn into romantic/sexual relationship all the time, you know.
I'm not homophobic, I wouldn't mind if there was an actual homosexual relationship between 2 people, just not them right now (no clues, and you know, I have friends, it would be easier to relate to them and all).

Agreed. I can't see how it could happen and make sense. it's probably just an example of fanfic writers throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.
It's scary. Especially when you spend a lot of time in other internet circles where LGBT+ people are widely accepted. It's jarring to leave that space and remember that there are still a lot of folks who want you dead.

Sometimes I let myself believe that the world is a lot better place that it is and then I see something that reminds me that nope, people are still hateful and judgmental and horrible. It won't stop, shipping is very common in fandoms, and will probably increase in time rather than decrease, due to new characters, more interactions ect.

You will find the demography a bit different here then the other places. That is not too many crazy fangirls here,Just nice older adults, respectfull awesome girls, and alot of straight dudes XD
I never really saw or put any two men having the possibility of romtically involved (though I have to say the internet culture have heightend my instincs to guess what the fangirls will ship ~_~). The only time I somewhat saw it 13% was with Phoenix and Edgeworth, and I dont ship that either.
I used to ship Edgeworth and Maya but I stoped because its just not their...I support all the bromances, bromance is awesome and Luke and Nick is one of them XD
Turning a blind eye to intolerance and injustice is just as bad as supporting it. If someone is acting in a way I deem offensive, I'll call them out on it. They shouldn't say cruel things I find offensive in a public without any consequence.
Opinions are what's the best kind of ice cream or whether or not a film was good. When you say gay people are sickening, you're spreading more than just your opinion. You're spreading hatred.
