Telltale's justification for 90 minute episodes doesn't make sense.
Puzzlebox claimed that the reason Telltale are aiming at about 90 minutes per episode is because, like a film, this length can be completed in one sitting.
**What?**
Films can be anywhere from 1 hour 15 minutes long to three and a half hours long. I have definitely watched many films that were 2 and a half hours long.
In one sitting.
I'm sure most of us completed season 1's longer episodes in one sitting.
Telltale, you do not need to aim for 90 minutes so that we can play it in one sitting. That is neither a good motivation ,if true, nor does it actually make sense as 2 and a half hours isn't an unreasonable time to play/watch something for.
Now what's the actual reason? It would be nice for you to be straight with us about this for once, because you have remained incredibly silent throughout season 2's release. Is it just because of higher quality textures? Sharing resources with Wolf Among Us?
Not to say the 90 minute episodes aren't great - they are - but I'm sure most of us would agree that 150 minutes of awesomeness is better than 90 minutes of awesomeness.

And they have of course a story-plan they want to follow and can put in 90 min/ 5 parts. Adding scenes to strech the game ( and that are not important for the story) is probably not worth their time. I mean they would need double the time for an episode if they would make them double the playtime. And you dont want to wait 6 months for an episode , do you ? ;)
The grand total will be about 7 and a half hours for the whole season. That's considered a short game.
If it is because of money, I would rather they just tell us instead of lying to their fans.
I never asked for this.
People have complained that 90 min's is too long in a sitting
To solve both problems Telltale could release 10 episode's, each 1 hour worth of gameplay and when all are finally released it be 10 hour long story like the 5 episode's with 2 hour long
Also with 10 episode's the wait time between episodes will be shortened .
