So, Laura Can't wait for us to see the new trailer, Job says something is coming before the weekend, and Laura says we shouldn't stay glued to the internet today, but that we won't have to wait too long for the episode. I.E..... May 13 release, Trailer Tomorrow, Release dates after the trailer tomorrow but before the release on Tuesday.
You know, in the future, we'll look back at us getting pissed at telltale games for no reason other than sheer impatience or something, and laugh how funny and anger we were at telltale while the newer generation will complain about how episodes will come every two weeks. Ah, I can see it now.

Telltale doesn't consider IOS users 2nd class citizens (I'm one myself) but they don't really decide the release date. They give the game to Apple, who then decides when to release it. As I've stated before, there is a 99% chance of a trailer tomorrow and a release on May 13. it's not entirely impossible for IOS to get the episode on Tuesday or Wednesday, (as I recall No Time Left released same day for all platforms except PSN US, which released a day earlier) so don't give up hope.

It's not that you're second class citizens, telltale can't really change the release date to whatever they'd like it to be and waiting two extra days shouldn't hurt you that bad...

no it wasnt, people were saying they posted on twitter that it would be may 6. Even Videogamesblogger.com said May 6 - so NO, it wasnt just speculation. This is what some sources posted based on telltale info on twitter which then was changed.

This is completely incompetent on Telltale's end. Seriously. Three months wait for each episode? Frankly, I dont give a rat's ass that telltale has other games released. so what? Just hire more people, do better project planning - that you have a lot on your plate is no excuse. It is not like they are doing us a favor, this is their job and they are getting paid for it. It should not take 3 to 4 months to just get one episode out. Last time their "excuse" were the holidays, what is it now? A few weeks ago someone from Telltale said "oh episode 3 will be out 'very soon'". I really wonder what his idea of "very soon" is: 4 to 6 weeks into the future in addition to the 8+weeks we have been waiting? Give people a timetable, if there will be delays, inform them but this is ridiculous. Unless I go back and play episodes 1 and 2 a few more times, having to wait 3 to 4 months is a huge turn off and takes you out of the experience.
