If you got bit by a walker would you want your arm to be cut off?

A walker suprises you and bites you on your arm and you are now freaking out and in a state of shock, your friends want to cut off your arm so that you'll live.

Cut your arm off or die?


I don't think I'd be able to handle it

    Cut it off. There is no reason not to.

    If you don't chop it, you'll die and turn. If you do chop it, you might live. Worst case scenario, you risk dying and turning. That's going to happen anyway, so you might as well risk it.

    I would cut it off, the only thing you got left in the apocalypse is to survive, I would do anything to survive if you just die you let the walkers win.

    Good question. Honestly I hate giving up but I wouldn't want to cut off my arm. I would probably try to get A LOT of painkillers or anything that can just freeze my arm so I won't feel anything. If we don't have the supplies for it then I would go look for it. If I take too long, and am about to turn... "I'll punch my own ticket."

    I would cut it off. I'm sure it'd suck a lot. Like a LOT. But I'd rather take the chance on living then just let myself die. My desire to survive beats out my fear of the pain involved in cutting off a limb.

    I would cut it off. id get a belt, rap it above the cutting point, and then chop that sucker off.

    I'll ask a friend to do it for me, because it could be dangerous if I faint in the middle of it while doing it myself. I'd get drunk to ease the pain before he/she cuts it off, if there's no alcohol nearby, I'll ask my friend to knock me unconscious first.

    I would cut it off but it would be near impossible. I might just go round with it until I start feeling really really sick then shoot myself.

    Well James Franco cuts his arm off in the film 127 hours (which is based on a true story) and while it looks completely brutal and disgusting and far from possible I'd say everyone would have the will to do it in a life or death situation.
