I wasn't used to seeing Clem get physically beaten like that. It came as a shock when Carver pistol whipped her in my game, and I reacted to it the way Lee would react. I know it sounds stupid, but I see Clementine as a little sister and I feel like I have to protect her in every way, fictional character or not. But seeing Troy hitting her like that made me realize that Clementine isn't protected by this special force that prevents people from touching her. I haven't changed what I think about Troy and I'd never forgive him, but yeah, I see what you're trying to say.
To be honest, my intuition tells me that Troy's just a Carver's camp loyalist version of Nick, and that Carver's probably gonna end up killing him or it's gonna be Kenny. I think he might have half-done that to lesser the chances of Clementine getting herself killed due to her attempts to escape. #DefendingTroy

This guy slammed a little girl in the face with the butt of a gun. She's bruised and bleeding, she's knocked to the ground. There's NOTHING … morein my mind that can excuse that. But what's the point? Troy is a fictional character with no positive or redeeming qualities. He has no personality, no lines, nothing that could possibly give someone a reason to go "Oh, well, he's funny though" or "Oh, but he said that one thing that did make sense." All Troy has done is helped kidnap the group, and now he's manhandling/beating up Clementine. We know nothing else about him other than that he's Carver's kiss-ass lapdog. There's no reason for me to sympathize with him, and to come in and act all preachy and demand that people do looks to be just subversive for the sake of being subversive. There is literally NOTHING about Troy worth defending, unless you're either doing it to try and act better than other people, or you just wanna bang him.

I agree. If a zombie apocalypse hits. I guess I'm going to be like Christa. Can't really trust anyone, except the select few of people like you, Cluke_is_Dumb, Flog61 and anyone else who doesn't want to kill Troy :D.
