Yeah, now that I look back that makes more sense than what I previously thought..his heart seemed to be in the right place, but I still think staying even one more day would've been a much bigger risk than leaving immediately. Who knows who would've been offed next for acting "out of line"?

About luke suggesting leaving people behind he was more saying if it came down to that as everyone was insisting they leave then and there heck luke even stated that maybe they should wait and rest up

How do you figure? Kenny wasn't the one who fired the shot that winged Carlos and Sarita is responsible for her own carelessness amidst the chaos.

Luke isn't responsible for Kenny losing an eye, either (Kenny chose to protect Clementine and took the beating that resulted in that).
  • actually i think he just grabbed the radio off clem and gave it to bill in the hopes he will just leave it be. :/

All the good that did us, huh? :P He didn't rescue us.

"luke may turn his back on us" Just like how he didn't go through hell and back to get to Carver's camp and rescue us when he could have just walked away?

  • - Kenny is trying to protect Clementine at all costs
    - Kenny tried to rescue the group in Episode 2
    - Kenny took a life-threatening so Clementine wouldn't get in trouble
    - Kenny trusts Clementine (in my play-through)
    - Kenny risked his life for Clementine in Season 1
    - Kenny cares for family more than anything, and I feel like he considers Clementine family after the events of Season 1
    - Kenny offered to take care of Clementine in Season 1: Episode 1
    - Kenny's temper can be a detrimental factor to the overall group

    - Luke gave clementine something to eat in Episode 1
    - Luke traveled from the lodge, to Carver's camp, on foot, to save the group
    - Luke didn't fully trust Clementine in Episode 1
    - Luke caused Kenny to take a life-threatening beating because of food (it should have been a heroic capture)
    - Luke disappeared at the end of Episode 2 (maybe if he didn't run, the events at the Lodge wouldn't have led to the group arriving at Carver's camp)
    - Luke was going to leave some people behind
    - Luke disappears again (trailer)

Kenny's pros outweigh Luke's cons, so I'd have to side with Kenny.

If that were the case, Kenny would have had no reason to stop Clementine from exposing her guilt. The fact that he intervened and took the blame showed he had a good idea that Carver would not let such a thing slide without severe repercussions - so Kenny took the blame to protect Clementine in the off chance that Carver didn't keep his word (which he didn't - and I doubt he'd have gone any lighter on Clementine if she was the one who came forth).

Kenny is a very reckless man. Kenny can be selfish at times. Kenny fights horribly.
But Kenny is a family man. Now that he sees Clem as his family, he is willing to protect her at all costs-including taking a beating that fucked his eye up without bitching about it. I can kind of see him reversing the past, die for his family instead of watching them die in future episodes.
  • For Number 2, I believe he was referencing the little holiday that he and the group took to the scenic St. John Dairy Farm in Season 1.

Couple of things... 1) Who's to say he never tried to track them down? The last time Kenny saw Omid and Christa was either on the rooft

  • Kenny lost an eye for Clem. As long as Sarita's still around, I'm saving him. (If she's not, and he's really and truly broken because of it - maybe I'd choose Luke instead just because I don't want Kenny to have to live with that all over again. Lord knows he's suffered enough already.)

Who knows - a lot could happen before that kind of decision comes up, but at least at this point, I'd pick Kenny. I love Luke, I really do, but Kenny lost a damn eye to protect Clem. He's proven himself trustworthy enough to be her caretaker in my book.

Despite Kenny being my bro from the first game, I'd been on the fence about this until this episode. Not anymore though.
  • really

    Luke

  • i agree with u

Kenny, he was defending Clem all the way. Luke, however did a huge mistake on his part of the episode, which costs Kenny's eye. I'm still giving him a chance till the end of the season.

  • yeah he did risked his life but kenny saved us ...... luke's plans are dumb

"luke may turn his back on us" Just like how he didn't go through hell and back to get to Carver's camp and rescue us when he could have just walked away?

  • lol hell yeah

All the good that did us, huh? :P He didn't rescue us.

  • yeah nothing against her

Kenny, without a doubt. I have nothing against Sarah - but the girl is more of a liability and is absolutely incapable of taking care o

  • dude i am talking about luke

Of course we can trust him more! Kenny was my loyal Bro in Season1 and he will be my loyal " Bro " and caretaker in season2 aswell!

  • maybe

Actually Luke was suggesting that they have a chance to recover while everyone disagreed and wanted to go tonight. When Luke explained that

Why should we choose something like this? Seriously, ive noticed since episode 2 that there has been a "war" over wich one Clem will show more preference. Every character has their qualities and flaws and both care for Clem. Just deal with it.

  • thumbs up ..... dude only one thumbs down .........

Definitely Luke. I know iIl get tons of down votes especially after Kenny's heroics in Epi 3 but lets be rational: Kenny is way too emotiona

  • yes yes

    Kenny, always.

  • we'll wait and see

Luke trust Clem. He didn't wanna Clem do always the work. "Wait a second! She is the plan?" Luke didn't underestimated Clem. I think Luke's big role come out in episode 4. "Where the fuck is Luke?" Episode 4 trailer

  • if they stay that night also carver would beat the living hell out of kenny ... next morning as he said

I have to admit. I would have saved Luke before. But after S2 E3. KENNY ALL THE WAY!

  • kenny will sacrifise his life for clem

Kenny, without a doubt in my mind. You know a man who is willing to make the hard decisions no one else wants to make (i.e. - killing Larry

  • "My" Lee and Kenny from S1 despised eachother. Kenny was nothing but a bitch, and in memory of Lee, "My" Clem will ever agree on any of his shit.

Because of this, I would let Kenny die regardless who it stood between (except Rebecka).

If you 'neg' this because YOU happen to love Kenny, I take that as an acknowledgement that he is, indeed, a bitch.
