He doesn't seem to have much to fear since he is almost invulnerable to Carver's punishments. Remember when Reggie was thrown off the roof for something as minor as the Clemintine and Sarah being slow with their berry picking and how Carver didn't seem to do anything about Troy breaking the bay door in the midst of an incoming herd?
He was an asshole for some of his actions like beating Clem. But in his defence Clem would've potentially been dead if it wasn't for Troy and his crossbow. Still beating a kid is unforgivable and I wouldn't want him in the group for that simple reason.

An 11 year old is classed as a kid so yeah Troy was a twat for hitting a kid. To also add, she's a girl for fuck sake. What kind of man would hit a girl, not a real man just a coward.
I he was a dick and hurt Clem a lot but he also saved her life so I dont know... Probably not... I would gave him a shot in the head a quick and clean death.

Someone shouted: "You don't have to do this Bill!" when he was knocking the shit out of Kenny's eye, now the dialogue was a white-ish blue, I'm not sure if it was Nick (as he's still alive in my game) or if it was Troy telling him to stop, if it was then I have a small amount of respect for him. I think it was Troy who said that, still I'd be reluctant to take him with me after his treatment of Clem, but he's a follower not a leader.
Ha. Yeah, no. I would have taken his gun and let him walk away unscathed, but bringing him with me? Fuck that. That guy was the dictionary definition of asshole. Even Carver called him overzealous in his sadism. *Carver*.
Zombie apocalypse or not Troy didn't have to beat her. I understand what you're saying about Chuck. The you're either alive or dead thing I agree with 100%. I just couldn't bring myself in any situation to hurt a kid in anyway.
Not true. Mike gave a shit about Clementine's well being and said something similar to, "Why are we making a little kid do all the heavy lifting?" An adult (well, most adults) can endure hits a lot easier than minors (who have weaker bones, that can end up as broken bones pretty quickly). How is Chuck's line supposed to give Troy justification anyway? In order for Chuck's line to somehow give him justification, you would have to justify hitting someone with a rifle, then, and only then, could this line be applied.
It's just logical. I mean remember what she says to him. "You helped me and i helped you" reminds me on that deal with the doc and molly at crowfort. The way he looked at her. the way she talks to him. "Troy, we could be together. Just u and me..." and than he says "Okay but you will take a bath before..."*shot in the dick* I think it's clear that he had an affair with her.
I personally WOULD take Troy with us, the one and only thing he actually did to hurt us was hit Clem/Sarita in the head with the butt of his gun, but that was because Carver would have killed him if he didn't. I do believe most of the shit he did and said was due to fear of Carver. NOW the way Jane treated Troy suggests that he did something bad to her, and how she was talking makes me think he forced her to have sex with him. If that is the case, then I would not take Troy with me.
At first I thought his a bit like Daryl but later I thought.....Nah to me he was weak like Carver would have said. Easy to manipulate (being under the spell of Carver's regime and later Jane nicely gets rid of him), strictly follows Carver's orders, hits a child so.....no I don't trust him and I would leave him behind.
