Why wasn't he mentioned?
Matthew, I mean Walter is the only member of Kenny's group who learned about his death in episode 2. So why was it that when the whole argument about Luke came up in the truck, Kenny or Sarita didn't say "Matthew is out there too! He can help."? It could be argued that during the unseen time between the ending of episode 2, and the beginning of episode 3, Nick may have told them (or if Nick died, Clementine could have). But if someone did, I kind of expected when Carlos was like "Like you helped Walter!?!" to Kenny, Kenny to say "Like Nick here helped Matthew!?!". I wasn't mad about it, I was just wondering.

I think it's a plot hole.
It would have been pretty cool but no, down into timecrack Maddy goes!
I noticed this as well. Kenny and Sarita NEVER learn of the other guys death. Infact, the other members of the group, rebecca, carlos, sarah, etc, never learn that Matthew was the bridge guy, and it was known openly that Walter's boyfriend was out there, but nobody seemed to care.
Either Kenny and Sarita simply assume he died when he never arrived, or that he ditched the group, or just a plot hole, who knows.
I still feel its a plothole. Kenny and Sarita talked Matt up as a close friend, so it seems rather odd they wouldn't be worried.
I think the reason for it is just the writer for In Harm's Way himself, Pierre Shorette. Either way, it's disappointing that there were so many oversights in episode 3.
