Nope. He didn't have a conscience, and he made it very clear that he didn't like any of anyone in the group. I'd have shot him in the head though (not that one) instead of making him go out in such a painful way.
I think Tyranitar is simply stating just because Clementine is 11, she's lost most child-like adolescence she had in Season 1. She realises that there are more that motivates people other than "good" and "bad."
I personally wonder how Troy slept at night being a "lackey" for someone like Carver.
I don't care! So, just because you're surrounded by bad people, somehow gives you justification to be bad as well? It doesn't. He's an assho… morele for hitting a child. Simple as that. I'm not saying he deserves to die because he hit a child, but he will always be remembered as that piece of shit that hit a little girl.
The tone of that line made me feel a bit of sympathy for him as well. Troy still came across as a sadist, but there's still the whole implication that everyone who was with Carver simply didn't feel that there was anything else out there for them.
At first I thought his a bit like Daryl but later I thought.....Nah to me he was weak like Carver would have said. Easy to manipulate (being… more under the spell of Carver's regime and later Jane nicely gets rid of him), strictly follows Carver's orders, hits a child so.....no I don't trust him and I would leave him behind.
Well, I think it would be interesting to see him interact with the group, especially since he wouldn't have a gun with him or any authority to bully them around. However, I find him exceptionally creepy, and on top of that, he's an asshole, extraordinarily ill-tempered, and uncooperative. He wouldn't last long. The cabin group would have to be insane to want him with them, and even if they did decide to keep him, he'd get kicked out in less than a day flat.
He seems like a strong survivor, and even though he is one of my favorite characters this season, I would only take him with me if Jane comes as well (Which she does). That way, I know he won't try anything because he trusts her.
I love how much of a dick he is, he is loyal to Carver and almost everything he says is funny (To me anyways). I just like his overall personality and his looks are cool I guess.

yea i would, Clem should have option to say ''Watch out troy'' when jane talk to him but no just like carver and carlos or reggie dead your only choice is watch them dead or not (carver)
Maybe. Even though he was an asshat, I think he had some shreds of humanity left, like when Carver beats Kenny, he looked pretty uncomfortable, and it looked like he and Reggie were 'friends' too. The choice would've been interesting, that's for sure.
Yeah, I would. I didn't like him at first, but in my play through when Troy asks Clem what she's doing in the comic book store, and I tell him "just reading comics", surprisingly, he doesn't hit Clem and is just like "Oh yeah? Well, you better not do that again girlie, or I'll have to hit you with my rifle." It threw me off a lot, I thought he would hit Clem over that remark, and he didn't. Which leads me to believe he is only verbally abusive when left by himself, but when Carver was present, he was physically abusive. I just think he was really misguided, he reminded me a lot of season 1 Daryl from the tv show. I think if he was surrounded by better people, he would've adopted that mindset, similarly to how he adopted Carver's mindset at the camp.
Yes, I would have definitely taken him with me. He was an interesting character and would have definitely made the story/group more interesting. The more people with different characteristics join a group, the more entertaining it gets watching them interact with each other. Killing him off was such a waste and was probably only done to satisfy the crying fanboys who couldn't stand Clem getting hit.
Nope. Didn't trust him. I could try to explain away the beatings given that Carver was willing to kill a one-armed man for not cracking the whip (and I'm sure there were instances where Troy should've "disciplined" Clem but didn't) but I get the feeling he was always a creep and likely a coward. Not ideal qualities for someone I want watching Clem's back (and one might say saving her was more for his benefit).
i think no matter how much u hate somebody: Getting shot in the dick is just...man you dont shoot man in the dicks thats just heartless (https)://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-k-rcOPz9vM
Most of those were jokes, I mean honestly, where the fuck was I supposed to find a barracuda to shove up his ass? But all jokes aside, if he… more had to die, then he had to die, but he got shot in the dick, and slowly ripped apart by man-eating monsters. I wouldn't want that to be the fate of anyone.
He doesn't mean it that way, he doesn't condone beating women. Look a few comments above yours. Nothing really sexist about it, I think it's fucked up when men hit women, too.
He was an asshole, but I would probably let him join. Probably.
If Clem was the one that said he could come, he probably be very dumbfounded and later on probably respect her and apologize. Giving you the option to forgive him or not.
I like his voice (I mean, of course I do, it's the same voice actor of brOmid), he had some funny lines and he seems more like a follower than a leader. Plus, we got Jane with us, she could probably make him do what the group needs. I'm counting on his intelligence being high enough to not blindly attack a group that outnumbers him and have every reason to kill him.
And honestly, part of me felt a bit bad for him at the end when he was all confused and didn't know what to do.
Didn't make Jane shooting him any less hilarious though.

Because if not, that's like the definition of sexism against men.
and I notice you changed your gravatar back... ^-^

I didn't trust him at all and I'm kinda glad that he died.
