Why so many of You hate Kenny for killing Larry?
Hi.
I noticed that many players don't like Kenny because of killing Larry.
Did you forget that Larry wanted to kill Duck in episode one? If Kenny wouldn't stop him, he would kill a little kid.
Did you forget that he was a complete asshole and made life a lot harder for the whole group?
And he was also a fucking giant. If he reanimates in that room he will kill everyone, because there wasn't any weapon there to stop him.
I'm not trying to say that what he did was good, but it was logical. There's very very small chance to survive a heart attack without any med help. But surely it wasn't monstrous as someone of you says, get some real thinking. If he wouldn't do that, the consequences could've been really tragical.

In my opinion he's the both of those things. Looking back, i think killing Larry wasn't such a bad idea after all, CPR dosen't work most of the time anyway.
My best guess is that they are either very "moral" persons or just wanted their game character to hit on Lilly by saving her father.
I hated Kenny for that decision even if Larry was an ass**** I still tried to save him it was right thing to do he was Lily's father it was an easy decision for me. Then Kenny killed him I called him a murderer etc and I was pissed but when he saved Ben he redeemed himself in my eyes the most selfless act .The person who ruined his life yet he still sacrificed himself saving him(I taught in s1 he died at the time) a true hero.
In conclusion
I like Kenny but I hate that decision he made which you mentioned
Honestly it's more about a character that took away their agency and power than anything having to do with ~morals~ or any self-righteous posture.
Kenny made me think we were going to get through this together, along with Clem, then shunned me. He turned his back on me because I wasn't a mindless follower who did everything he said. For that, Kenny became a horrible man, to me.
"It wasn't for touching kids was it?"
"Jesus Kenny!"
"Well, come on man, I gotta ask!"
1. I intended to save him just so I could punch HIM in the face. Then we'd be even.
What's the second reaso-- OH YEAH!
2. Clementine was right there in the meat locker. I didn't want her to see that shit...

"No, I'm not going anywhere".
This was the turning point in my view of Kenny's character. Here it reinforces what we already saw at Hershel's farm: To Kenny, family is everything, and nothing else will get between him and his family.
I can understand Kenny's view and why he did his actions, and I'm not even too angry that he killed Larry. It's his actions afterwards that made me hate him. Throughout the past 2 episodes I had his back, I didn't want to start any unnecessary conflicts. But I wasn't going to give up on Larry instantly, I wanted to at least attempt something. So for him to be willing to leave me to die while I was fighting Danny just because I didn't help him kill an unconscious man right in front of his daughter?
At least Lilly had a valid reason for not trying to save you after you killed her father RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. Meanwhile Kenny is throwing a hissy fit that you didn't help him and is willing to let you die for it.
Larry was a liability, Kenny did the right thing by smashing his head in with a salt lick
