1.Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence It was a fun game with many unlockables and Easter eggs.
2.Shadow of the colossus Very fun game I enjoyed defeating the colossi.
3.Metal Gear Solid 2 Good game I didn't mind Raiden much.
4.GTA San Andreas Best gameplay out of any GTA
5.Bully Just like GTA except in school
6.Kingdom Hearts I A bit childish but the story was good.
7.God of war II A fun hack n slash
8.Final fantasy XOnly good FF game I've played
9.Resident evil 4 Only Resident Evil game I've played and it was a good one.
10.Tomb Raider anniversaryNot completed I like the gameplay the puzzles are annoying sometimes.
*These are PS2 game I don't have PS3 or next gen consoles. I have an iPad but I don't know if that qualifies as next gen *
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask: This game is fantastic. Probably the only Zelda game with a good plot and characters. It's looks great, does a lot to differentiate itself from Ocarina of Time despite recycling models, engine and such. It's also much darker and just more fun to mess around in this game. It can't think of a lot of shortcomings. I guess it's not as lengthy as the others, but that's a plus in my book. Don't have to dedicate more than 24 hours on a repetitive fetch quest SKYWARD SWORD. Looking at you! Majora's Mask is without question my favorite game of all time.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective: One of the most underrated games of all time. It has the best story I've ever seen in a video game. The music, characters, graphics are incredible. This has to be one of the most perfect games I've ever played and it's on a tiny DS cartridge! Play it for yourself, I'm not going in-depth to spoil anything.
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future: It's a well-written story-puzzle game thing! My favorite Layton game. Fun fact: the endings of the top 1 through 3 made me cry. Oh, Walking Dead would be somewhere on this list as well and I did cry, but apparently I can't do that...
Thief II: The Metal Age: I like all three Thief games (the reboot does not count), but I feel like the second one is the best. There's just a lot more... stealing in this game. Where's the time where you just drop into level and just roam free in a hub to do whatever you want? Sure you get goals, but there's no hand-holding, no linear hallways, nothing that plagues so many modern games. Not to mention that there's so much more depth to the stealth than say Metal Gear Solid.
Deus Ex-Human Revolution: dis gaem b gud. You play as a cyborg who never asked to be a cyborg then you put 10000000000 bad guys to sleep with your fists so you can save your girl. 10/10
Super Mario Galaxy 2: Oh hey, a Mario game that's a sequel, but not a cash in? It's great stuff! The levels are more enjoyable, some of the lesser parts of its predecessor are made more tolerable, I just think this is the superior game in general even if there's a lot of recycling.
Also, dat soundtrack.

YES YES EPIC WIN!! your going to love it and this thread damn it though was dead it lives again.
In heavy rain you can't fail qte's if you do the story still continues and changes. Your decisions and actions completely change the story it's so epic really edge of your seat stuff love to hear what think of them when you complete them blades. Both are superb
Haha. Yeah! That's pretty cool. So basically you can't lose your ending just gets worse?
I'll post my thoughts about it here when I'm finished them both. I'm starting with Heavy Rain. How did Jason die? Ethan jumped in front of him and grabbed him?
Also the controls are so weird R2 to walk. But its really cool. I'm 5 minutes into the game and its amazing.

The graphics are just breathtaking it came out years before TWD s1 the innovator of that style of point and click so thank heavy rain the first game to use that technique of gameplay lol
Wait till you do a QTE I was actually standing up never could even sit during the qte scenes they were so tense and fast they are merciless more then 2 or 3 mistakes your gone just crazy intense such an experience

1-Metal Gear Solid series
Specially 1,2 and 3 they are just awesome
2-Red Dead Redemption
Fucking georgeus game
3-Grand Theft … moreAuto series
No matter what othe game i play i always come back to it
4-Bioshock series
I startet recently to play this series but it has such an amazing enviroment and story
5-Super Mario Sunshine
One of the only games i have completed to the 100%
1. Bioshock series - because I love speculative scientific theories and philosophy mixed in with blowing away bad guys.
2. Portal 2 (the first was great, too) - unique puzzle game with a great sense of humor.
3. Assasin's Creed 2 - because I love alternative history & conspiracy theories mixed in with blowing away... er, slicing bad guys.
4. Fallout 3 & New Vegas - just fun to play, explore, and has some moral choices within stories.
5. Half-Life 2 - an exciting game with great ambience and action along with the interesting story/settings.

Contains Spoilers for Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls
DAYUM! THAT WAS AWESOME. Beat them both and those are definitely my kind of games.
Heavy Rain: Really good. Unique idea, especially on switching characters. Ethan's trials were so fun, and hard, really tests you on how far you will go to save Shaun. The QTE'S were SO INTENSE. I actually failed a couple times. I did all Ethan's trials except the second one in the electricity place, and I failed the QTE so he left... I also got Norman killed at the end because I missed a button, and Scott escaped....
Interesting to see what Madison does, very different way of finding the killer, especially by meeting crazy people like the doctor, and Paco.
Really fun looking for clues, and then examining them as Norman. Really different as he is on drugs, plus his glasses are AWESOME.
Really cool twist when found out Scott was the killer, and he was collecting evidence to destroy it. Really intelligent villain, and love his character as a antagonist. But accidentally got Lauren killed because I QTE'D the wrong place :(.
Really amazing game, can't wait to replay to try different outcomes.
Beyond Two Souls: Also an interesting idea with the whole Aiden thing. I had so much fun just smashing things around, and possessing people. God it was so fun I just had to interrupt Ryan, and Jodie's date! I didn't want to but I did and it was so awkward haha.
Kind of different on how it changes from different ages, and not in chronological order. The Homeless segment was amazing, and really enlightened me, on the challenges homeless people face.
The ending choice was cool. I hate myself now because I said the wrong thing to Nathan, and he killed Ryan... I wanted to choose Ryan but my incompetence got him killed so I had to choose Jay.

NO SPOILERS not telling you!! lol
Anyway love to hear what you think when your done
Sorry for late response haven't been on forum for a while thanks for long comment love it
Also point out Heavy Rain came out in 2010 and TWD 2011 so they are innovators of this style of gameplay to me
In QTE's I had to stand up during the car segment for example because can't fail adds so much tension and excitement to each scene that's the way the qte's should be for me
The morals decision example to shot the drug dealer was big one for me just couldn't looking at his family so epic
I choose Ryan hated him for lying at the war thing but got my revenge when ripped his eye out lol and when sacrificed himself for Jodie at the end my decisions was made
Aiden was epic
My favourite bit of Beyond was homesless segment so many feels only people who accepted her where the ones with nothing and who endured such an awful life and when Jodie wanted to kill herself my feels wen into overload but saved them all in burning building rather die then let any of them die in that builidng

Ah I'm fanboy too so happy you enjoyed them but unfortunately know you know how point and click should be and how decisions should shape stories it leads you to become a bigger critic of TWD s2 believe me lol because you got so spoiled with quality of these games I agree with your ratings
I'm not sure I even have a top 10, but I do know that Silent Hill 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5 are two of my most memorable favorites besides The Walking Dead.
And yes, those are both excellent games. Too bad the critics were rather harsh with Beyond. A lot of them only gave it a 6 or 7 out of 10, which I think is bullshit. I think they are both at least a 9.
Thanks correct that was just a test and you passed .
Exactly I adored both games and though some criticism for Beyond I could understand. To me definitely a 9 glad I took the risk despite the reviews. The graphics just blew me away, mysterical/spirtual story and innovative gameplay plus Ellen Page I just loved it

I love this list I forgot L.A Noire just legendary that game would definitely be on my list if I did it again. We share a few game on our lists I like your style thanks for the share
* TLOU
* Heavy Rain
* Ico
* Canis Canem Edit (also known as Bully)
* Tomb Raider
* LA Noire
* Splinter Cell
* Silent Hill 3
* Red Dead Redemption
* Beyond: Two Souls
All of these are in no particular order.
I doubt I could make an actual ordered list because, well, I'm very indecisive, so here's just some games that I love in no particular order… more.
* Fallout: New Vegas. NCR Forever!
* KOTOR 2: A nice, darker look at the Star Wars universe with a deep story.
* Red Dead Redemption. I'm a huge fan of westerns.
* This one's an oldie, but System Shock 2 is pretty awesome for fans of sci-fi horror.
* Left 4 Dead 2. Nothing's better than killing dead people alongside your friends.
As you can see, I played a lot of games in my childhood that stuck with me. My gaming habits have calmed down recently and I only play a few games. The Walking Dead would top the list if it was allowed :P
It won't let me change the list for some reason, but the list is the wrong way round! Read it as GTA - LCS as 10 and Crash Bandicoot as no. 1! :L
I've got 15 games to choose from. :I Sorry about the long list but hey, you know its hard to choose:
1. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Absolutely the most fun I've ever had playing games. Lots of happy memories and countless hours of gameplay clocked into this masterpiece. Every time I think about the insanely fun moments I had with this game, I shed a tear . :')
2. The Walking Dead - An insane experience for me along with many others. I know its cliche to have this so high up and considering this is the Telltale community site, but I can't help it. This game had me on another level of extreme emotions from beginning to end. Dat ending man.
3. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - A fantastic game from my childhood. I get so damn nostalgic every time I think about this game. If only I had the N64 and the game itself now...
4. Bioshock - The best first-person shooter I've ever played. Absolutely, 100% amazing. Gameplay was so solid, and everything felt like warm butter. I loved the atmosphere and isolation of the underwater city of rapture.
5. Red Dead Redemption - I am a big fan of the western genre. I love westerns such as Django Unchained, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, etc. That feeling of being a badass gunslinger and being a legend of the wild wild west is purely awesome.
6. Hotline Miami - An incredible, action packed, adrenaline rush type of game. Holy shit I had a rush of ecstasy as I played this! This game proves that graphics don't make a game entirely. And despite having a simple gameplay style, it had a very interesting story. I also have to say this game has a very SEXY 80's vibe to it(considering the game took place in the 80s). The music, the visuals, the style, everything was just downright sexy.
7. The Last of Us - I thought this game was excellent, absolutely excellent. The characters, the apocalyptic theme, and the A-mazing story, this game left me dazzled from beginning to end. But, I've got to be honest, this game is so goddamn over-hyped down to the fucking bone. I'm sorry, but that's how I feel. I still love it despite that though.
8. The Wolf Among Us - A great narrative tale of the Fables, fairytales, legends, etc. and how they coincide with the real world and their community. Telltale's greatest, if not the best, game I've played from them. (Honestly I'm more excited for TWAU rather than TWDS2)
9. Fallout 3 - Best RPG I've ever played. This was going to be higher, but other games have captivated me even more. I love things that deal with the apocalypse because I want to see how it's like to deal with this type of situation. The gameplay was pitch-perfect,
10. Bioshock Infinite - Another one of my most hyped games of last year. Elizabeth and Booker were one of the best things about this game. The environment of Columbia was breath-taking and absolutely beautiful. The gameplay mechanics were awesome, but it didn't necessarily have the original "Bioshock" feel to it. Still fantastic.
11. Far Cry 3 - Another great FPS that I've played. I loved antagonist, the jungle environment, and the mechanics of the game. I like the First-person aspect too, as it felt like you literally experienced the crazy shit Jason is going through like driving your car off a cliff. I liked the transition from feeling like prey to feeling like a predator.
12. Grand Theft Auto V - TBH, my experience with this game kind of downgraded quite a bit. But nonetheless, this is still a great game. I might even have to say this was my most hyped game of last year. The graphics were incredible, gameplay was insanely fun, and everything just felt great. But I also felt that this game was over-hyped to the damn bone. The multiplayer was kinda fucking bad too. But I still play it.
13. L.A. Noire - I love the noir type of feeling in cinema. It's gritty, it's cold, and it's brutal. LA Noire is a great detective game set in LA with that noir feeling. I felt like a true detective investigating crimes, murders, and thefts. It actually made me want to become a detective at one point.
14. Uncharted(series) - An A-mazingly fantastic adventure/action game. One could say it's like Indiana Jones!(It essentially is). The graphics were beautiful, the game play was absolutely goddamn great, and the character Nathan Drake was badass. The Uncharted games were an absolute blast, and I had an amazing time dealing with the crazy shit and adventures Nate and Sully went through.
15. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - One of my childhood favorites. I had a blast playing the GTA games, and this one, along with 2 others were among the best.
Megaman battle network (series)- I actually played these on my Gameboy before I ever heard that meagaman was originally a platform, I loved all five of those games.
Conker's Bad Fur Day- It's hilarious.
Corpse Party- Those plot twists were amazing!
The Stanley Parable- I love this game so much.
Always Sometimes Monsters- It has a great story, with so many endings that could take you 45 minutes to reach one and several hours to reach another.
Watch Dogs- It's pretty fun.
Bioshock Infinite- Let's face it, it's mostly for the ending.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Phoenix Wright: Justice For All
Phoenix Wright: Trials And Tribulations- These three games were amazing! I don't have a Nintendo DS, so I played this on an IPad, with only one big bug on the device. (One of the puzzles has to be completed in a certain order n IOS for some reason)
(1-Call of Duty Black Ops)
(2- Modern Warfare 2)
(3- Battlefield Bad Company 2)
(4- Bioshock)
(5- Bioshock Infinite)
(6- Assassins Creed 2)
(7- Metro 2033)
(8- Metro Last Light)
(9- Gears of War)
(10- Watch_Dogs)
Not in any order but, here's a few of my favorites, other than Telltale's games.
* The Last of Us
* Beyond: Two Souls
* Heavy Rain
* Outlast
* Alice: Madness Returns
* Lucius

(1-Call of Duty Black Ops)
(2- Modern Warfare 2)
(3- Battlefield Bad Company 2)
(4- Bioshock)
(5- Bioshock Infinite)
(6- Assassins Creed 2)
(7- Metro 2033)
(8- Metro Last Light)
(9- Gears of War)
(10- Watch_Dogs)
Haha, you certainly like your story games then, huh?
Not in any order but, here's a few of my favorites, other than Telltale's games.
