"Everything's Not Lost" by Coldplay. I just think the song is epic and the lyrics give a positive vibe.

  • Why can't the TWD soundtrack just have: (If this is for Season Two of Telltale's game of course)

    Anadel - In The Water
Janel Drewis - In The Pines (Where Did You Sleep Last Night)
    Anadel - Remember Me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taTTt7dH4Ig
    Anadel - Carver http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnJDiCqsRu8

I'm not sure if this is for the game or what should be for the TV Show, but if it is for the TV Show, then just disregard this comment

Would "Oh My Darlin' Clementine" be too obvious? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebyiyntVQNM

I mean, the lyrics are a bit too satirical for a melancholy ending, but I imagine they'd edit the lyrics to be more fitting
  • This one and the one you mentioned, both are fucking brilliant songs.

if they changed the lyrics and the rythim they could make a good sad song for the credits even a little creepy i guess

Minus the vocals, I think this would make a great 'Armed With Death' for Clem. I wouldn't actually want this song to be in the game because it doesn't fit TWD's style at all but it sounds like it would be a cool song for Clem to go out to.

    "Clementine" by Elliott Smith

    youtube.com/watch?v=lRI1heP1WJU

Though I loved this song long before I ever played the game (and it was released in 1995), it actually fits the tone pretty well. I think you can interpret the lyrics to fit TWD, albeit metaphorically.

"Waking you up to close the bar/Street's wet, you can tell by the sound of the cars" Kind of a stretch, but the 'bar' is the world, and it 'closing' is the apocalypse. Society is done, collapsed, closed. The sound of the cars is the sound of the walkers, shuffling and moaning from outside.

"Though you're still her man, it seems a long time gone/Maybe the whole thing's wrong" makes me think that even though Lee's been gone for years now, Clem still has him in her heart. And 'maybe the whole thing's wrong' might sum up the uncertainty Lee felt about watching over Clem despite not being related to her.

And "dreadful sorry, Clementine", a line lifted from the original folk song, pretty much sums up the pity Lee (and everyone who played the game) felt about her losing her parents and Lee.

And in addition to a few other relatable lines, the song has a very desolate and longing vibe to it that really reflects how I felt at the end of season 1. Very sweet, heartbreaking stuff, like a lot of Elliott's other songs.
  • Blackbird song by Lee Dewyze.

It was played on the tv show, but I think it would really fit the setting in the game as well. And the singer's name is LEE.
