How should Nick meet his maker?
I think most of us can agree Alvin's death was one of the highlights of episode 3 - and I don't mean that in a "Ben" kind of way. Telltale managed to give Alvin an end that was simultaneously tragic and heroic. THIS is exactly what we need to see from a determinant character.
At the time of this post, Nick is the longest surviving determinant character on record, having lasted all the way to part 4. If the achievement "All Fall Down" hints towards an Alamo-style massacre of most of the principal cast, how would you want to see Nick bow out in a manner that's just as effective and powerful?

As for Nick's death, I'd imagine that he dies holding off a number of attacking enemies/zombies/whatever, allowing others to retreat to safety.
As for his death, I would like him to go out defending Luke in some way, it seems like something Nick would do for his best friend. I hope he somehow makes it to episode 5 though.
But I definitely don't want him going out like he did in Episode 2, or being there one minute and shot in the head the next. Nick needs a good send off like Alvin, and he needs to say bye to Luke or asks Clem to. [Actually I got a quick question, if Nick is killed in Episode 2, does Luke make any mention of him?]
Later the group is safe for a while and it's clear that Nick is going to die as it's too late to amputate his arm. He thanks Clementine for all she's done (depending on whether you helped him with grief, defended him when he shot Matthew, bassicacly overall treated him).
If you saved Pete: Nick will ask Clementine to remind him how Pete went out and Clementine will say Pete distracted walkers for him. Nick gets up and tells the group to leave and Nick then distracts the walkers.
If you saved Nick and he saved you: Nick will ask Clementine to remember the time they were trapped in the shed, Clementine says yes and then Nick distracts the walkers again.
If you saved Nick and he didn't save you: Nick will ask Clementine to remember the time they were trapped in the shed, Clementine says yes and then Nick tells him "This time you have to leave me here to die". Then he slumps along the wall and is left there to die, as the group leaves.
No...No chances? Any hope? Fat chance...? Ah, fuck you guys, you'll see he'll die from natural way.
:')
That's
How
But
Who
THEY KNEW EACH OTHER 20 YEARS! HOW COULD HE NOT MENTION NICK!? HAVE YOU NO SOUL LUKE!? T_T
I think a good end for Nick (because he's determinant) would be if he sacrificed himself for the group. I think he deserves a tragic/heroic death just like Alvin got. I can also see him getting a sudden death like Carley/Doug or even a tragic death like Ben (where someone like Luke would have to end Nick's life just as Ken did for Ben).
I dunno it's just a little joke I got on him, I don't know if it's true or not. I just see him as the kinda guy who'd have a couple playboys hidden under his bed XD would be cute if Telltale ever mentioned anything about dating at a carnival, or about any chicks he really digged.
Sooo, you think Nick would be goofy enough to try the yawning 'arm over the shoulder' routine?
