There's nothing wrong with game length.
The problem is content. There is no content when you DO get the chance to roam around, it's ba… moresically a puzzle leading into the next area, dangerously close to being Jurassic Park with choices.
Season 2 has the exact same types of areas as season one, the problem is there is no content in those areas. Tried talking to Rebecca, she thanked me. OK. So I go to Sarah to talk, says she doesn't want to talk. Go to Nick to talk, says something and lets you go. No more investigation into these people's lives.
The issue with Season Two isn't length or hubs, because the length is fine and the walking simulators are there, but it's the way the areas are being used.
What? You said I'm banned, I'm not. I haven't insulted them, I just said Relic was lying, and for that reason, he got banned for several months. I all ready know you have autism, so don't go throwing it about like it matters.
Excuse me, you are banned for bloody slander. Those people are my friends Daniel, I will defend them for as long as I can and I'd ask that y… moreou NEVER insult them. Friends are something that a agoraphobic, high functioning autistic like me doesn't have many of. Not many people have left, the wiki his more populated than ever.
New people aren't likely to check the forums here but even if they do I'm pretty sure they will research into before buying. As for seeing the negativity, its criticism from the fans. We want telltales to create a badass game, we want them to do well but in order to do so they have to listen once in a while. So far with season 2 nothing the community mentioned has really been taken in (as far as i am aware, correct me if im wrong). That why we are all upset and asking telltales to improve upon it.
And what do you think you are doing by talking about Telltale the way you do. If someone new who hasn't played the game and wanted to check the forums to see how the game is, what do you think would be their decision by seeing nothing but negativity.
I was just saying. Please refrain from insulting my friends. Relic comes under that category. You also said the wiki was run by people who had only been on for 3 months. Which isn't true at all. I just went to your page. That "BLOCKED" next to your name is rather conspicuous. Also the autism was relevant there and it kinda does matter, it's a life changing mental condition but I digress, here's your ban.

This. Perhaps I should say "content" from now on. I am sure that if length will come on its own if enough quality content is added, and if not... well you have Episodes 105 and 202, I guess.

Well Mr. Gravelord obviously hasn't read the rules, this is a different site, and so I am going to report him to Axel TWD. Tell him to undue this and he will not be banned by this higher up staff member. And no it does not matter.

You must not have a large vocabulary if the only way you can retort to a post is talking the way you do. You're not in the minority? Hmmmm..… more.Yet the game still gets huge ratings, wins awards and millions still play. Funny. Sounds like the minority to me.
Oh, and one last thing, how do you even know this is me? Any old random fool could pretend to be me or anyone, use your head kids. You have no proof, and even then this is a different site, Gravelord will be banned now, good day.

Googled your name and got your Twitter. Pretty easy, to be honest I worked out your identity beforehand and so did everyone on chat. Mr.Gravelord was in the right, you have broken rules as this comes under wikia rules for harassment. Good day to you Mr. Shaw, enjoy your 3 months on the naughty step, can't say I'll miss you, I'm too busy virtually high fiving the people you insulted on the chat you can't enter. TLDR version... Grave is in the right, you're not and I'm laughing my arse off so hard, I split me tea.

No I have not, the message has been politely sent to Axel TWD on Gmail and he will have this incident under control AKA me unbanned and Gravelord's status deleted, this is a different site, I can say whatever I like and get away with it, why do you think everyone on the Kennyism Wikia isn't banned? Have you heard what they have been saying? Ha, this might not even be me and it makes you look even more pathetic than you actually are, good fucking day to you sir, and enjoy your tea.

It's sad how people like you use delicate topics like children starving and all to justify something they don't understand or to try to make people feel bad about something, of course those topics are important but we are not talking about that so stop pretending you care about those things and shut up, the fact we like a video game doesn't mean we don't care about those people in need, thats why we donate, that's why we give money to people who nid it when we can do it, that's why i fed many stray dogs when i was a child and im sure im not the only one who do it, so shut up and begone instead of coming here COMPLAINING AND TRYING TO MAKE SOMETHING THAT IS NOT HURTING ANYONE INTO SOMETHING BAD, instead of trying to make us look into monsters who doesn't care about other things, yeah we like the game and of course we want the best, but that doesn't mean we are monsters who don't care about whats happening in the world
Make a change for good? Longer episodes and more Nick is for the greater good. Well all this time I thought feeding starving children, helpi… moreng abused animals, putting abused children into good homes, and acts of kindness were for the greater good. Guess I was wrong.
"I've been in university for 2 years studying game design and software development. I have a VERY good idea what goes into games like this, it is ludicrously difficult I have first hand experience on how bally hard this is. Sorry to up myself here but I imagine I have a greater knowledge on the subject than most people here. I explained in my comment below how episode 3 was not rushed, please read that as I will not waste my time in repeating myself.
And finally, yes I will call it silly, because that's what it is. You will not budge a game company because a couple of "hardcore" fans demand it. Doing this will either take down their game quality or force them out of their schedule. They're a company they don't exist to please every single person, trust me they could be a hell of allot worse. Most people here really need to sit down and consider what goes into a game like this and stop prodding telltale. I mean, come on suggesting spamming them with emails? That's immature... To say the least."
Don't take this the wrong way but you sound like one of those women you hear about on TV making excuses for their violent and abusive partner. "he's under a lot of pressure at work. .", "..He's not a bad man really", "..I brought it on myself. ." Yadayada.
I don't understand the great lengths you've gone to defend the length of the episodes.
You question if the previous poster knows what goes into the production process but you over look that telltale achieved what people are asking for when they made the first season. If they could achieve that then when they were experimenting with the hardware and technology how much easier would it be for them now that they have mastered it and have more money and resources at their disposal? (Rhetorical question)

"This might not even be me" well that means you are Daniel... If you were not you would say "This might not even be Daniel" you are using me to refer to Dan... wa wa waa
Anyway I had a nice old chat with Sansse about this as you can see here postimg.org/image/ef1jpuqm9 I think Gravelord is fine... and you are staying banned. Now for the last time. Bye Daniel, thanks for the entertainment.

No proof it's Daniel so you will be banned for a false accusation and who is Sansse? Get this threw your head and show Sansse this message "This is a different site, I can say anything about anyone on the Wikia and not get punished, this is a different site, your rules DO NOT apply for this site, and I haven't insulted anyone, I said RelicRaider lied. And he did, he got banned a few months ago. Axel has been informed of this situation, and Gravelord will lose his Admin status for this reason." It's like saying someone at school calls you something and on the site they ban him, that wouldn't happen. Read the rules next time, good day.

Sansse is a wikia staff member and the wikia community manager. Basically she's the big fish. Axel knows Sansse and like me understands and respects her authority. You are staying banned an admin can ban for what ever reason they see fit as long as it doesn't brake terms of service.

I completely agree, it's a good petition.
Unfortunately TTG has probably already written the episodes and won't be able to make them any longer.
I honestly think the real problem here is the linearity and lack of gameplay elements.
Throw in some riddles and adventure elements and you'll get more out of each episode, like in season 1.
(No-one with programming experience would support this. I'm sorry but this entire thing is pretty much an insult to our line of work. We can tell when effort has been put into something, this petition is screwing that up and saying "It's not good enough, we want more.")
We do want more, but isn't that only a testament to how good TWD game has been?
One can't help but feel a little hard done by paying the same price you paid last time for a product that that is nearly half the amount. I live in the UK and there are many types of food that have shrunk over the years like wham bars, curlywerlys, boost chocolate bars, Big macs etc. These things are shrunken down so companies can make more money from less material. How has telltale done different? (Rhetorical)
Unlike season 1 the games have not had their undivided attention since they have fingers in other pies, spreading their man power thinner to make more money from putting out different game franchises simultaneously, which is hurting the very franchise that put them on the map and funded their bigger operation.
One may even go as far to say that paying the same for less content than you was getting before is daylight robbery or at the very least, exploitation. To those that say if you don't like it don't buy it, it's not as simple as that as people are too invested in the story at this point. An anology I could use would be the example of a dope dealer giving their customers less product for the same price, playing on their addiction. The same way that dope user can't easily walk away is the same way those invested in the story cannot. Both people have the right to feel sore about it though.
Telltale can't really justify lengthier delays and less content. It should be one or the other. 90 minute monthly episodes or 2.5-3 hour episodes every 8-10 weeks. Bearing in mind they were putting out quality 2.5-3 hour length episodes in 2012 in less time than they are putting out these 90 minute "webisodes".

Thanks, I'm probably going to head off now. Sorry for the trouble I'm sure I caused and if I came across as arrogant. My views on the subject haven't changed but I will depart for the sake of decency.

Well expect to be banned by Axel with Gravelord in the pan too. I've been there a year longer than he has so I have more authority Admin status or not, Admin status is gained by users opinions, and it's plenty obvious I won't be getting it anytime soon because everyone on chat supports eachother, only odd ones out like me so prepare to get banned for assisting an offender. Good day.

So i agree with you BUT
I would rather wait one more week if they add more dialogs then like in season 1 for example on the farm where you could talk to everyone about a lot of things.
This made the Game really interesting and the characters became known and i started to like or hate them ,depending on their way to threat me.
Also the space you have to move is very small ,for exmaple in season 1 ,starved for help ,you had a whole Motel area to explore.
Sometimes there was a little side "quest" to help the others,
And all this I am missing in season 2
And yeah i know that taking over decisions from season 1 is quite hard and is complicated for sure ,also i think season 2 is great till now.
But the characters ,for exmaple ,Carver and his friends and the cabin group are quite flat and you didnt get to know much about them ,till now.
This is rather immature... Do you people have any idea what goes into making a video game like this? TellTale has really upped the ante in s… moreeason 2, more choices, choices carrying over from season 1 ect ect... Do you really think they can do this and make longer episodes? It would take them months to make each episode to your demands.
You did not "pay for 2-3 hour episodes" if you can show me any bit of TellTale paperwork that says the episodes of season 2 will be this length I ask the you present them. If that is what you were hoping for and payed solely because of that, tough luck. Plus none of the episodes were 3 hours long, unless you got ridiculously confused.
TellTale has not stopped listening to anyone, I'm really not sure where you are getting this from. They are also allowed to make as many games as they like at once, don't forget they are a company. They doesn't exist to meet the sole desires of one fanbase, they exist t… [view original content]

Odd ones out, ha. Never insulted anyone on the Wikia before so use your fucking logic. Thinking your tough behind a computer screen, you even admitted you have no friends. And you're using your condition to your advantage, man up, son.
No, it's not as every other episode of their recent games have been of the same length and that doesn't actually prove rushed production.
… more
That is just speculation and needs to be proved that it is effecting production. So far there has been no proof just consistent speculation.
"Well, I'm a physician from India who just invented a laser ray that turns everything into nachos, can you prove that?" That's where I calle… mored you sarcastic. I'm really not playing "all high and mighty" because I'm on "some university course" (The very same one you asked me to prove by the way) I'm telling you that I have a far greater knowledge on how games are made because that is just the case here.
What you are doing here is not suggesting, you are telling them to do what you people want. petitions aren't made to suggest. Nor are you giving them constructive criticism, you don't constructively criticize by making email templates for people to spam them with.

C'mon people, just 18 signs more!!!
If they make episodes longer against their will, episodes would be boring and with many blind places.
I'm not spamming them, and petitions are not obligatory, do your research.
