i don't care, i'm old. I have more life experience, than a 12 year old. I am able to understand things better than someone whose brain isn'… moret formed to maturity. You know the brain doesn't stop growing until your 25 right. The game is just a game, you know. It doesn't mean they're smart about anything, it just means they spent way too much time either playing this game, or reading about this game. Isn't it odd how you can believe that an 11 year old (Clementine) can murder walkers, witness deaths and even murder people herself. Yet when it comes to playing a video game, it's impossible.

The brain is not "hurt" when it views something it's not mature enough to process, it is either confused, scared or both, and simply removing the stimulus causing it and being there to comfort said brain and explain that they can just forget it is enough. Being able to judge correctly when a specific child will be more scared or put off by something than motivated to think or play(which includes thinking by default) is every parent or guardian's responsibility, and just something siblings learn and recognize simply from being in close proximity, in any game from E-thru-M, and The Walking Dead, despite how gray or how far it might go in the themes it presents, it won't ever go higher, that is to cross over from M to AO, and I wouldn't say this game's content constraints in particular are "absolutely zero". And the opposite of "immediately" in regards to reactions and reflections on an experience with a game, movie, or any medium of entertainment does not equate to over a year, so there will be plenty of time to make sure the late bloomers of these delayed reactions understand that shooting people in Call of Duty is bad and that the choices presented in The Walking Dead aren't choices they should have to make because of how gray they are.

Yeah, his reaction time afraid is so bad. I tried making him play the demo for Episode 1 and he was too busy talking to me about decisions or what was going on he didn't pay attention and missed dialogue options and quick-time events. With me I can concentrate on talking to him and playing so we normally both talk quickly and try to agree on what to say/do.
I mostly let him decide though, but on more complex situations we both discuss it. It's really fun actually
My sister, who is 14, plays it. I dont understand how she can remember all the detalles of an episode (she aint a fan of TWD, she just plays it once when i tell her the episode is out) but doesnt remember the square root of 81

Some kids (very few) are mature enough to handle it. The ones that aren't mature enough are also not mature enough to know they can't handle… more it. Kids under 17 can't make that decision for themselves - that's why this game is rated "M".

The problem is that many of these kids encouraging/permitting the 11-year olds to play the game are in the 14-16 age range, and are absolutely unqualified to make those judgements. They most certainly do not have the qualifications or maturity needed to decide if a very young child should be playing the game. They most likely shouldn't even be playing the game themselves.
As far as the categories go, this game has high levels of violence and language. Not maximum levels, but quite high. If it had sexual content on a par with the other categories, that would likely be full frontal nudity and simulated (softcore) sex acts. I still wonder if the 14-year old "older" siblings think it's fine for their 11-year olds to watch that stuff. And there's no right answer. If they think it's OK, they're idiots. If they think it's not OK, then they're that ridiculous kind of confused American that thinks that splattered brains are fine but boobs are bad.

I am 12 in real life and I had no problem with all the violence in the game. TWD is my favourite game for sure. At the end of Season One I cried like I never cried before. I could barely sleep at night after I finished the game ;_; Too bad I do not have adult sibilings who played this game. We didn't have no PlayStation four, we had to use our imaginations to make those games good. After school, i wasn't allowed to play video games, i had to do my homework, then go outside and "play." All i wanted to do at that time in my life was play Nintendo.
