Probably not the most popular opinion, but I kind of liked Lilly, abrasive as she was, and I sided with her over Kenny in S1 (although I was, of course, pissed along with everyone else about Carley/Doug). She was a complicated, memorable character that still evokes a lot of strong opinions and gets people talking. I definitely would be interested in seeing her come back and stir shit up in both game and fandom.
Lilly is second only to Kenny as far as "most requested returning character for S2" goes, so I'd be surprised if Telltale didn't have SOMETHING up their sleeves for the character.
Yeah, they were pushing it with "Kenny found this woman, who helped saved him, and then they both went all the way to North Carolina (it is a big state; I live there) and somehow ended up in the same place as Clementine and Her group.
I'm not entirely sure why people thought she would come back, bringing back one character is somewhat believable but bringing back two is a little silly.
Maybe she will appear at the end of the season you remember the clifhanger ending with clem looking at Omid and Christa at the end?If she will appear in this season I bet it would be something like this.
Yeah, a cliffhanger at the end of this season, or a later appearance in season 3 is more probable.
If she appears this season, she is more likely to die fast, and I personally wouldn't like that.

Plot-twist, Lilly is the leader of Wellington and depending on whether Lee left her or brought her. She'll either refuse to let Clementine and the group in (especially if Kenny is there) or She'll let them in out of pity and guilt for stealing the RV (She's told by Clementine that Lee, Katjaa, Duck, and Ben are all dead).
