I doubt it, because it would be pointless, Lees death made sense and helped Clem prepare for the world she would have to deal with, but if Clem died it wouldn't make sense, and if the group got into trouble and someone needed to sacrifice themself, well clem is the youngest so if someone does it it would be Luke or Kenny sacrificing themself...
I'd say no just to keep the repetition away. I'd rather they either just do something really traumatizing for Clem or kill off someone really important like Luke, Kenny, or anyone else infront of her face.
Anyone can die in Kirkman's universe and Clem is no exception to the rule, this is true. but she is not a small fish either, she's the "One Million Dollar Fish". and even TT knows that if THIS fish dies, it can totally backfire, or at least. will cause a huge damage to the franchise. kill a protagonist is a dangerous thing to do, and if not done wisely, it can ruin everything you've built.
Lee died, and it was already painful enough for us all. if Clem dies, there will be nothing after that. the party will be over, the connection is terminated, is a dead end.
Try to even imagine TWD without Clementine? I don't know about you, but this event would make me instantly lose 85% of my interest in the game for sure.
I think pulling a Kenny would be perfect. A tear filled ending of feels overload, followed by the greatest feeling of joy and relief in gaming history, and then we play as her again in Season 3. I think TTG could pull it off.
Edit: They could reveal she's still alive in an epilogue to avoid immense hate, while still giving the feels stated above.
I think Clem will disappear at the end of episode 5 and we'll play as Kenny on Season 3 to find her. Then we'll finally find her alive 2 years later (Clem would be 13) on Season 3 Episode 5 (but Kenny will sacrifice like Lee did and he'll die, this time for real) hinting to a Season 4 with Clem being the playable character again. I know it's kind of a crazy theory but it's my opinion.
Clementine is Telltale's TWD. They can't kill her for the usual reasons someone like George R.R. Martin would use, since just about the entire cast is already dead, and to be honest, I don't see any of the S2 crew as being worthy candidates for S3 protagonist.

If TWDG taught me anything it was to never lose hope, to never give up, but if something like THAT were to happen, it could very well make me do just that.
Now while anything could theoretically happen at the end of S2, i believe i can say with certainty that Clementine will survive to appear in S3. I simply don't see a way even Telltale could spin the whole plot in order for it to even be somehow considered a possibility.
Bottom line is: it can't and won't happen, do with that information what you consider best.
Smelling a great F U twist here? Now after TTs lack of focus and poor story telling with these recent episodes, i would say 90% sure this twist wouldn't come.
Cause they would lose their audience, EVEN if ep 4 & 5 would be awesome, damage has been made and people are angry and tense is high.
But to be honest it is still TT and they maybe would do it anyway hoping people still would come back fo more. Bioware gets a way with ruining endings badly and people will still buy next ME, TT would try that tactic i guess. S3 would come 2016, long way there and people might forgive/forget.

No. Most likely not.
if she does telltale fans will be mad
Why would TellTale kill off the reason TWD is so enjoyable?

true
Telltale would be burning cash if they did that
Cash to them is our tears, but they wouldn't kill Clem...
me thinking about her.... dying
Well it wouldn't be a good surprise but TTG does like to make us feel like shit and surprise us so it's possible but HIGHLY UNLIKELY.
I really hope they don't kill her off but they love to drink our tears..
Clementime's death rate is below 1 percent

your right...
That would be a bad storywriting, if at the end of every season the maincharakter is dying.

If she dies I'll be more:
damnit Telltale
Clementime should live so I can play TWD season 3
I'm gonna be pissed if Kenny or Luke (or anyone) ask Clementine to do something stupid and she dies because of it.

If telltale kills her off my reaction would be something like...
Followed by...
But I don't think TTG would pull that card again.
That'd be just like season one by having her disappear on the forth episode... it is an interesting idea though... maybe it could work :P
Clementine is so significant in Telltale's TWD that she can be the mascot of Telltale Games
I hope not, but my damn cynical mind is saying that this story will end in her demise.
It all depends on Wellington though.
nah .... " no clem = no buy "
I cant imagine that.. its just not humanly possible. My mind just reaches a huge brick wall that says "CANT GO THERE"
NO CLEM = NO CASH
When people get impatient waiting the next episode threads like this happen.![:( :(](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)

yup... the waiting... at a certain point is when each end every day gets harder. I haven't gotten to hat point yet. some people have.
I think I have about a week to go. then I will start to feel it.

She wont die. She cant die. Point blank.
Sam the dog tries to kill Clem
xD
the moment I finished episode 3 and realized I had to wait again I said " and so it begins"

Still, fuck that... and again, Clementine = $$$$
Most likely they won't this season.. But if they do... I will cry my eye balls off. It would be a waste man
Well, at least I hope Telltale won't go down that path. Killing of another PC, especially Clementine, would be a bad move in my opinion.
