I see myself in Sarah, thats why I like her character. I have been sheltered, and much worse. Sarah has potential to change and become a survivor. Or become another victim, it all depends on Telltale.
I cannot wait to see what they do with her character.
alright look sarah is the worst, she has done nothing to help in anything she only makes matters worse, when carver came to the house and clem said hide she hid BEHIND THE COUCH then after carver roams the house for 10 minutes then she decides to head upstairs, when carver came to the cabin she was perfectly safe in there but she decides to run towards the shooting, now i understand that carlos was out there but what did that accomplish, when they were captured and brought to the camp, they sent carlos immediately to work and of course sarah starts complaining(thank tell tale for the "grow up" option),and yes she is responsible for reggies death why? because staring into space not doing anything kind of didnt help, shes responsible for carloses death to cause he had to hold her hand the entire way(and i dont want to hear any "shes a little girl"crap shes older than clem and shes holding her own),but the iceing of the cake that pureified my hayred for her was abandoning clem like that,NO i would feel no remorse whatsoever of sarahs death
I don't hate her, I just don't value her- whether or not she is to blame for it, she is not suited to the hard reality of her life in the apocalypse. Not her fault, and don't hate her for it, I just see her as someone who is going to do something or make a mistake and get someone killed. In a more forgiving universe (i.e. not a game made by someone who draws nourishment from my sadness) i might be willing to go out on a limb to protect her, but as it stands, I am not going to do anything to risk my Clem and other favorite characters for her.
I don't know why the hell people think that she got Reggie killed. First of all Carver would have killed him anyway and second Reggie could … morehave at least watch over if the girls are working or not, help them out and be useful teach them something rather than just worry about everything. He didn't even try to communicate to Sarah, ask her if she's alright instead he asks Clem because "he's not good at that stuff". As for Carlos that wasn't her fault either, anybody could have gotten shot in the herd. I like Sarah because, she is well written, her behaviour and naiveness is realistically portrayed, and it's nice to see another kid in the series, who can also be a new friend for Clem. Ok I think thats enough of my rant let the downvotes begin lol
I don't hate her as such, but I'm certainly not trying to be a friend to her. I don't blame her for the death's of Carlos or Reggie. I don't think she should be hated for going to pieces when her father gets dropped, or when he's forced to hit her. I do, however, view her as a liability to Clem. Whilst I don't hold it against her personally, her naivety and shutting down under stress is simply not survivable in the situation Clem and the group are in. If things had stayed low key and there had been a few weeks/months at the cabin where Sarah could be toughened up and trained to survive, then I think it could be okay. However, going into kinetic situations in the wilderness, as the group is, I firmly believe trying to drag Sarah up would result in people dying. It's just too much of a sink or swim environment. I dislike Sarah because I don't want to see other characters I care about die, and certainly not Clem.
Please, people who hates her, explain me why.
This game feels real because of all the characters, you can relate to some, you can even fi… morend some people who liked them.
Would you have played the full game if everyone was a badass ? I don't know about you, but me, no.
She didn't do anything wrong. So why the hate ? Let's be serious, if there was a ZA, the majority of us would be useless, and may become badass later.
And again, someone who hates her explain me why.
It is not too far off:
1. Some of the Sav-Lot bandits did the former to Jolene and her daughter.
2. Russel's previous group in 400 Days had performed their fair share of pillaging.
Telltale will probably pull a "Duck" on us with Sarah. Whiny dislike-able character for the first two episodes, semi okay character for the third. A great, lovable character for the last two.

Congratulations, you completely missed the point of Sarah's character by basing all of your "evidence" on blind hate. Try actually paying attention to the game next time.

I don't mind Sarah, but she did indirectly cause the death of Reggie and possibly Sarita, and she hasn't done anything useful either, can someone explain why everyone loves her so much? Please keep the hate to a minimum I just want to know your reasoning.

She didn't get Sarita bitten, Sarita was the one who decided to help, she decided to risk it, if she saved Clem instead of Sarah, would you guys blame her too?

Oh and JK. I like playing jokes on people. I'm in mix relations with Sarah. I didn't like her in 203, though. Sorry if people took my comment seriously.
I'm sorry, but was i fucking talking to you?

If we were talking about Season 1 Clementine in that position, then all the Sarah-haters would have no problem with the character. In most cases it all boils down to "She's fifteen she should know better she's dumb lel" which kind of shows they don't really understand the concept of sheltering or potential mental illness.

Yup, they don't understand what it is to be like her sometimes, they say,oh she inmature, oh she is this, or she is crazy but no is not her fault to be like that, she didn't choose to have those problems, people are being intolerant.

Not really, walkers came when Carlos was shot cos they smelled the blood, the noise made by them attracted more walkers, yeah her scream could attract them too but they were coming before she did it, and i don't hate her or blame her for screaming, if i saw that happening to someone special to me i would have done the same.
No, Carver was going to kill Reggie no matter what. If you say that he didn't deserve to die when in Carver's office, he answers with "Oh he certainly did," and goes on to say that Reggie was weak.

I'm sort of neutral with Sarah but I would probably support her. But hey, let's remember amendment 1 please. (Freedom of speech)

she hasn't done anything wrong she is just the way she is

Its too mainstream to hate sarah now..
At first I thought ClementineCultist meant Day 1 Day 1, not just a figurative Day 1. So I agree, it is believable.
Telltale will probably pull a "Duck" on us with Sarah. Whiny dislike-able character for the first two episodes, semi okay character for the third. A great, lovable character for the last two.
That's not what happened with Duck... He was a loveable character throughout, then died in E3.
Well...some people's first impressions were different.
I personally didn't mind him at first. I mean, I have lots of little cousins.

She didn't cause Reggie's death though, Carver was just looking for the right time to kill Reggie.

Jokes on you, I already did fuck myself.
This. People need to stop looking for reasons to blame Sarah.

Well, Sarah's screaming is kinda what made the horde notice them in the first place.
It's fun trolling on here. I've been gone a long while now. I decided to come back. But i'm gonna stop trolling so i don't get banned.
Carver gave Reggie one last chance. He blew it because of Sarah.
Yup, they don't understand what it is to be like her sometimes, they say,oh she inmature, oh she is this, or she is crazy but no is not her fault to be like that, she didn't choose to have those problems, people are being intolerant.
I didn't know you can go to Hell for trolling. Or for disliking a fictional character in a video game. Even though i said i was trolling.

Sarah is dead weight.
But from a story standpoint - the fault lies in her father who didn't work to prepare her for the current state of the world.
Could be I guess.
No, Carver was going to kill Reggie no matter what. If you say that he didn't deserve to die when in Carver's office, he answers with "Oh he certainly did," and goes on to say that Reggie was weak.
I wouldn't blame Carlos though, if I were a father I'd try to protect my loved ones the most.
I mean, Lee sort of overprotected Clem in a way until she got the Chuck talk, but Lee and Clem never got any hate.
Just an observation.
