I find it interesting that both Kenny & Luke asks Clementine this question about each other, i guess my question is which one of them would you trust with your own life if you were in Clem's place?
Which one do you think would go the extra mile and risk their life for you if it came to that?

I believe they would both risk their life for Clem, but after Episode 3, I definitely feel that Kenny would go the extra mile for Clem over Luke. Come on guys, he lost a god damn eye for you!

Kenny would, Luke hasn't really shown that sort of dedication to Clem or his friends.
Well, Clementine is a direct link to Kenny's last memories of his family, so that bond is as genuine as they come. I do think unless Luke is somehow revealed to possess a hidden malevolence, he too would risk his life for Clementine.
Well, we were shown how far Kenny is willing to go for Clem.
I guess it just remains to be seen how far Luke would go.
Kenny took a beating for Clem which cost him a eye but Luke followed Carver back to his group with no food or sleep.

True, some people say E4 will be Luke's moment of sunshine.
He definitely got more to prrof this time around.
In terms of their intentions, I trust them both with my life. In terms of the actual execution of things...well...you have one guy who thinks he can take out a bunch of people armed with assault rifles by himself and another guy who hasn't really shown very much on-screen capability.
If I had to pick, I'd probably go with Luke, because he seems more level-headed and willing to negotiate things. As soon as Kenny gets an idea in his head, he'll pursue it even if it kills him. Or me.
Luke will lose the ultimate thing this time around, his dick, just to save Clem.

It'd make sense, for a character who pretty much had 'deutaragonist' written all over him he hasn't been given much time in the spotlight.

I can see your point, Kenny's agressive and impulsive behaviour often goes too far.
This is tough one, As i do like kenny and he did lose an eye for you, but i feel as though he is too brash and headstrong. He acts like "Fight now, Think later" Which can be dangerous, especially in the situation Clem is in. I also think he is starting to loss it a bit, With Sarita noticing in episode 2. Not to mention that now she is bit or her hand was cut off, that's just going to make it a lot harder for kenny since she was one of the only things keeping him from losing it.
With Luke, He seems more responsible and calm. Staying calm in a stressful situation. Remember, he spent days without sleep and food to help us get out of the prison/camp, which is his downfall. He is trying to be the hero, which you can't be in this world.(If you want to read more about why Luke is a great character, you can read it here, I didn't come up with this. http://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/comment/1211862 ) and to be honest,to me he seems insecure about himself, Like if hes a good leader or not.
Kenny would do more imo than Luke but they both would definitely do their best to protect Clem.
As for who to go for, the most rational choice is Luke. But I'd go with my gut and be with Kenny, sometimes rash decisions ARE the only way out of things and if you wait too long then you might get fucked. I consider Kenny family at this point, and like Luke said "What's the most important thing in this world? Family".

Kenny is too headstrong.
There is something to be learned from both characters, they're like exact opposites which explains why Kenny might dislike Luke. As you said, rash decisions are needed sometimes, can you imagine being in a Larry situation with Luke? He would probably hesitate to do the right thing and put everyones life in danger. Similarly Kenny's impulsive actions could have fatal consequences like at the Ski Lodge.
I think they both could be trusted with protecting her.

I think at this point I can trust both of them with Clem's life. They've both proven they will go to lengths to protect those they're close to, it's just been by different means. Luke will starve and deprive himself of sleep to pursue his group, whereas Kenny will take a beating for you. Two different types of physical endurance, but if I'm trusting them with my life, I'll have to go with Luke since Kenny will protect Clem since he's close to her and sees her as his current family, but has time and time again shown his best interests are always his family first... so I doubt Kenny would go to those lengths for anyone else other than Sarita and Clem. Not to mention his decision making hasn't always been the best.

nope, don't trust either neither of them, at least not with my life. The only person you can count on in the ZA is yourself.

Is this a trick question? Of course I would do anything for Kenny! He has done so much for Clem and he was willing to die for her when he took the blame for the radio. And he's always the one to make sure she's okay. There's not a single doubt in my mind that Kenny would take a bullet for Clem. Luke would also do what he can to protect Clem, but so far I haven't seen him risk that much for her like Kenny did. But who knows? Maybe Luke will prove me wrong in ep4 or 5.
@KCohere Not to be rude, but that's the point. He didn't know what was going to happen, Carver could have done anything.
If it comes down to a decision, I'm going with Kenny, my third favorite TWD game character.
Even as a Kenny fan i cant disagree with you on that one, but depending on your view, this can also be a positive asset.

This Luke/Kenny question is something that began to grow on Episode 2 and will only get stronger....
It's almost obvious that this is only going to lead us to a choice in the end: Save Luke or Kenny.

I'd trust Kenny, only if Clem (she's literally the smartest fucker right behind Lee) tells him he has to realize not to hit first and think later. Seriously, they had seven people (now less) and no one even gave him a hint.
