I reckon it'll be a girl. Not only that, I reckon members of the group will have ask Clementine what she thinks the baby should be called. Clementine will have options which include; Christa, Carley, Katyaa etc
I'm guessing boy. There are a lot of girl children in the series. A boy seems due.
I hope its a boy, for the sole reason I want to name him Omid. Omid means hope.
Then again, I've met girls named hope.......

That would be interesting. But overall unimportant to the plot. The only thing that would change would be its name and pronouns.

but it could add more playably and show us our choices matter a little more yea we can save nike and alvin in episode 2 but clems choices don't mean much so far on the whole
Maybe, depending if Alvin died in episode 2 or not determines it. If he dies in episode 3 he says he's got the feeling it's gonna be a girl, but if he dies in episode 2, all you know about the situation is that Rebecca said that Alvin wished for a boy.
Yeah I think this would be a fine addition to the game. Kinda doesn't make a whole lot of sense that out "choice" of baby name preference would actually change the gender of the child, but it would add diversity to different playthroughs.
It could be unused audio from Episode 2 where Bonnie said "I have a little girl just like you.", or for another scene that was taken out.
SPOILER START: Someone found in the files that Rebecca dies and we have the option to shoot her, so it kind of debunks this audio clip being used for the birth of Rebecca's child. :SPOILER END

so it is not easy at all
Normally , i say "telltale is full of surprises , it can't be boy or girl "
But when Alvin said "it's gonna be a girl" ...nah , he can't be a boy anoymore
telltale will want to make Alvin's spirit happy 
Like telltale will care about that is likely to do the opposite make us think girl and we get a boy just to lead us on and keep us guessing.
I'll like him/her to be a boy since there are not too much male kids (only Duck actually, and well Fivel) but it will surely be a girl just cause of what Alvin said
I think it will be a girl like Alvin predicted but will also be Carver's child.
